Believe – Loki
I'd isolated myself in Bruce's lab with my notebook and acoustic guitar, working on the unfinished songs I had. I ignored the sound of the door sliding open, thinking it was only my older brother; but was surprised when I saw the God of Chaos that was supposed to be in the cell down the hall.
"Get back in the cell." I stated, using my guitar to point at the door.
"I will not take order from a mere mortal." He sneered, making me huff.
"Well, excuse you. You know, you're not all you're cracked up to be either. So far your little plan has backfired and you're on a ship with some of the best SHIELD agents, including my brother."
"Your brother is the green monster?"
"My brother is not a monster!" I glared, standing from the chair and moving so I was standing a foot in front of the tall God. "If there is a monster here then it would be you. The 80 people you killed two days previously were innocent; they'd done nothing to you. You murdered 80 people, and I hope that red stain on your soul never fades."
"Ooh, the burn of a fiery temper in such a small body." Loki irked stepping closer which made me move back. "Tell me, is you soul so pure that you will never be corrupted?" I swallowed nervously. "Is there something dark inside, just waiting to lash out? Hmm?"
"There is nothing dark in me. You're the one which is pitch black." I said, nearly walking into the table edge as I never looked away from the dangerous man in front of me.
"Carrie!" I heard Bruce's yell from somewhere further away on the ship, making Loki's lips twist p into a smirk once more.
"I won't let you do anything to hurt him." I stated, finding myself with nowhere to go as he cornered me. He grabbed my chin so his fingers were splayed across my cheeks and kissed me. I squealed in shock before my brother broke into the lab as the Hulk.
Loki suddenly disappeared and I was left on my own to calm down the Hulk, which I somehow managed to do before handing my brother a lab coat so he could cover up after he changed back to normal.
"He's gonna pay for that." Bruce stated with a glare as I discretely touched my lips, finding a small smile gracing my mouth.
