Next target – Clint Barton
"Nightshade!" Fury's voice pierced through the silence in my earpiece and I cringed.
"You know you don't have to yell, the device is in my ear so I'm gonna hear you wither way." I remarked, making my way to his office.
"Just get to my office now."
"Already here." I shrugged as I walked through the door to see Clint sitting on one of the chairs in front of the table with Fury standing by the window. My face paled at what I saw on the screen, a recent shot of the mob leader that killed my father. "I-I killed him though! He was dead!" I exclaimed, pointing to him.
"He survived, barely got through what you did to him but somehow he managed and now he's gained the knowledge to create super soldiers similar to Captain America." Fury said, nearly making my knees give out. I sunk down into the chair beside Clint as the information sunk in.
"You want me to go back out and kill him again." I said, looking to him for confirmation. Fury nodded and pointed to Clint.
"Hawkeye will assist you on this mission, to keep you from sinking back into the past."

I felt slightly nauseas as Clint and I made our way into the building where Nathan Miller resided along with his small team of mobsters. I didn't like this one bit; I thought I had gotten rid of him six years ago when he killed my father. I thought he'd paid the price already, but he was somehow still alive.
I caught a glimpse of him through a small crack in the door and had to press myself up against the wall to stay upright, gasping slightly. Clint appeared in front of me and pressed his fingers underneath my chin to tilt my head up so I was looking at him.
"We got this, just calm down. I don't want you having a panic attack. And I know you have them sometimes, I can hear you when you lock yourself in the training room." He said quietly, his blue eyes trained on my own; making me slightly calmer with his presence. I sighed and rubbed my eyes before nodding, making him release his grip on me. "Oh, one more thing."
I looked at him and my eyes widened as his mouth met mine in a passionate kiss in the middle of a mob's hallway. He pulled away and flashed me a grin before kicking open the door and shooting an arrow into the guard which was in the same room as his boss.
For this mission I'd decided to let Clint have the bow and arrows while I opted for throwing stars as they were nasty little buggers when they hit you. These ones just happened to be barbed so you couldn't cleanly pull them out of your skin, they tore instead. I can be a sadistic little bitch sometimes, but hey ho.
Before the leader had a chance to say anything I had thrown one of the stars into his face and another quickly followed in his throat, successfully rendering him dead this time. Clint made sure of it by checking for a pulse and nodded that there wasn't one, making me sigh in relief knowing that he wasn't going to be coming back this time.
"So, ready to go back for our next target?"
