Safe and Sound - Loki
Stark Tower was under attack by rouge agents and I found myself locked in one of the labs with at least five of them. I had Tony screaming down my earpiece asking where I was, but couldn't answer him as I was a little preoccupied with trying not to get killed. I soon found myself being overpowered and my actions started becoming sloppy as I panicked.
My head snapped to the side sharply as one of them got in a hard punch to my face and I stumbled, falling backwards onto the floor as my head became fuzzy. I felt a swift kick connect with my face and nearly choked on the blood that filled my mouth before managing to spit it out. I looked up to see one of them aiming a gun at me and braced myself, shutting my eyes tightly.
The shot never came.
I slowly opened my eyes and saw that the agents were in exactly the same positions they were in before. I frowned slightly in confusion before realising they had been frozen. My gaze snapped over to the person walking into the room from the door that had been broken in, seeing it was Loki. I watched him through glazing eyes as he came closer before he stopped in front of me.
He held his arm down to me with a neutral expression on his face. I allowed myself to grab his hand and help me up. A wave of nausea rushed through me and I wobbled on my feet before falling backwards, not seeing straight. A pair of strong arms encircled my waist, stopping me from crumpling to the floor. My vision was blurred as I tried looking up at the God who'd caught me.
"Anna?" I cursed mentally as his voice sounded further away than he actually was. He repeated my name, but I was already dead to the world.

I felt something warm and damp on my forehead and snapped my eyes open, freaking out slightly until I saw it was only a wet piece of cloth. I sighed and removed it from my head before sitting up, trying to ignore the pounding in my head. I rubbed my temples lightly before realising that Loki was sitting on the end of the bed I was in, watching me. I jumped and let a curse slip out, making him arch an eyebrow at me.
"How long have you been sitting there?" I groaned, rubbing my head to try and rid myself of the abiding headache.
"Since I brought you here three hours ago." My head snapped up to look at him and I cringed at the pain which burst through my skull.
"Why?" I asked, holding my head and only just feeling the pain from my face where I got kicked. His large hands moved mine away before I felt the soothing coolness from his own replace them, making me sigh softly in relief. "You haven't answered my question yet." I said, looking at him to see his blue eyes connected with my own.
"To keep you safe. You were not conscious, therefore not able to defend yourself." he replied, moving his hands so his fingers were curled around the back of my head; tangling into my light blue hair. "Your hair is very fitting for being in the presence of a descended frost giant."
"I just like the colour blue." I said softly as his face moved closer to mine. "What are you-"
My question was cut off as his cool lips moulded themselves against my own, successfully delving me speechless. My eyes widened as his mouth moved gently against mine and I found that the pain in my head was disappearing under his cold touch. He pulled away slightly and I found myself looking at him in a new light.
"Loki." I whispered.
"Yes fair maiden?"
"Why, what was that for?" I asked quietly. His thumb lightly brushed over my bottom lip before he leant forward again to press his forehead to mine.
"Is that not how you mortals profess your love here on Midgard?"
I tried to say something, but I didn't know what and it came out in a stuttery mess, making me blush as he released a deep chuckle. I nodded tentatively and watched as a soft smile touched the lips that had just kissed me.
"But, why would you profess that to me?" I asked. "I'm just an average girl that's trying to get a place here." He shook his head.
"I disagree with you my lady. You are one of the most disobedient, strong willed, independent beautiful women I have ever come across in my entire existence. But I find myself loving you despite the flaws. To me they make you the perfect woman. I would like for you to be my lover Anna, I would never do you wrong and you will be treated like a queen." Loki preached, making my cheeks flush red in a vibrant blush.
My eyes found his and I noticed that they were such a pale shade of blue they reminded me of ice. I nodded which made him kiss me again, but I was more ready for it this time and surprised him by kissing him back.
"I haven't thanked you yet." I remarked as I pulled back slightly.
"For what?"
"Thank you for saving my life." I breathed, kissing him once more to prove my point.
