Short and sweet – Bruce Banner

My face was practically pressed against the glass as I watched Doctor Banner in his lab. It sucked that I couldn't actually go in; Tony had banned me from entering the labs after I nearly blew one of them up. I fell forward slightly and my forehead thumped against the glass, catching Banner's attention and making him look over to where I was. My eyes widened and I panicked, not knowing what to do or where to go.

As I was debating with myself what to do the lab's door slid open and I found myself bumping into Doctor Banner, making my cheeks flush and look up at him as he was a fair few inches taller than me. My blue eyes widened in innocence as he looked down at me and I pulled my bottom lip into my mouth, biting on it slightly.

"I've seen you hanging around here before. What's your name?"

"Emily, you're Doctor Banner." I said, making him nod.

"You can call me Bruce, Emily." He smiled, making my heart seem to speed up as his dark eyes warmed while he looked at me. "Why don't you come on inside instead of standing out here?" As much as I wanted him to grab my wrist I stepped back slightly, making his expression change into one of confusion.

"Tony doesn't let me in the labs anymore." I said sadly. "My ADHD tends to get me in trouble and I nearly blew one up a few years ago." Bruce chuckled before grabbing my hand anyway.

"I'll make sure you don't touch anything then, you'll be fine while I'm with you." I trailed in behind him as he walked back into the lab and I found myself looking around in wonder. This lab was bigger and more equipped than the last one I was in.

I made sure not to bump into anything and waved into the camera with a grin once I saw it in the corner of the room attached to a cord from the ceiling. I heard Bruce chuckle before he sat me down on a stool near the cleaner end of the table where there was only a few sheets of paper instead of test tubes and chemicals.

Tony walked in a few minutes later and pointed at me, making me shrink back in the seat slightly and point at Bruce who had just looked up to see Stark in his lab.

"Can I help you?" Bruce asked casually, peering at Tony over the top of his glasses.

"You know she's not meant to be in here, right?"

"She's fine, I'm watching her. Anyway, she's an adult and probably learned her lesson the first time. Have a little faith Tony." Tony looked over at me and I smiled, batting my eyelashes at him; making him sight in defeat.

"Just make sure she doesn't break anything." He muttered before walking back out, leaving Bruce and I alone again.

"Thanks Bruce." I smiled a little at the man beside me.

"I can't help it, you're short and sweet." He remarked. "You're too cute to resist."
