The enemy – Loki

I tuned out my uncle's droning voice as he practically gave me a lecture. My attention was grabbed by a tall handsome looking man as he was led down the hall in chains, making Fury glance back to see Loki flash a smirk at me.

"I want you nowhere near him Olivia, understood?"

"Yes uncle." I sighed, rolling my eyes.

The rest of the day I spent being bored out of my mind, often finding myself drifting into thoughts about the new man my uncle had brought in as a prisoner. He was rather handsome for an enemy, but there was something about him that seemed to be screaming at me. Something I couldn't quite put my finger on.

I felt myself starting to get a headache and sighed before quickly changing into my pyjamas and collapsing into my large bed which seemed to drown me in the duvet and pillows. As soon as I fell asleep, the man entered my dreams; seemingly aware of where he was from the smirk etched onto his alluring lips.

I found myself unable to wake up and realised he must have something to do with it. I didn't think he was human, he was something more and maybe dangerous due to the look on my uncle's face as he told me to stay away from him.

As the night progressed I found myself less willing to wake up and get away from the man who I now knew to be Loki, God of Mischief and Chaos. A part of me deep down was fearful of what I had gotten myself into, but my heart out-ruled the small voice and steadily grew to love him.

"You're quiet, you're never quiet." My uncle remarked, looking at me closely from across the room. I shrugged, still a little tired from last night. Just because I was asleep, doesn't mean my mind was; and that made me awake in a sense.

"I'm going to train." I said, standing and leaving the room once he'd nodded. I lied, I wasn't going to the training room; I was going to confront Loki in person instead of him appearing in my dreams.

After wandering around for what seemed forever, I eventually found the room in which the God was contained in the cell designed for the Hulk. As quietly as I could I slid into the room to already find Loki facing the doorway and looking at me with the same smirk on his face like in my dream.

"And so the niece finally makes a real appearance." He remarked, making me frown slightly as I moved closer to the glass cell. "My, you are more beautiful in person."

"How were you in my head last night?" I asked, looking up at him to see his ice blue eyes trained on me.

"I was in your dream, because you wanted me to be."

"No I didn't."

"You did, subconsciously. You may not have known you wanted me there, but your mind did. So I went there because you were calling me." he explained, making me think about it for a minute. "There you go." A smile slowly spread across his face as I found the small part of me that wanted him. It was deep in the back of my mind, but once I found it the feeling increased tenfold; weaving its way down into my heart.

"You tricked me." I stated, watching as he walked further to the back of the cell and sat down, leaning his elbows on his knees and staring at me with his enticing eyes.

"Blame me all you want, but you can never go back once you let the darkness in. Trust me, I know." A shudder racked through my body as his voice deepened and the intensity of his eye became too much.

Without really thinking what I was doing, I slammed my hand down on the control panel; pressing the button that slid the cell door open. Loki grinned and immediately stood up, walking quickly over to me and making me tilt my head nearly all the way back to see his face.

"Ooh, what would dear uncle say about this? The burn of coming so close, only to have it snatched away by his niece. Oh, this is exciting." There was one part in my head screaming at me to get him back in the cell, yelling in my head about what I'd just done. The larger section was praising that he was now free and that I was the one to do it. "Shall we my love?" He held his arm out for me as I linked mine through it. "I think we should pay him a little visit before he can come to us."
