AN :Chapters 1 and 2 were edited to break big paragraphs into smaller, more readable ones. The paragraph breaks don't really make much sense to me now but if it helps make it easier to read, I'll continue with it in future. I basically tend to keep all related stuff in a single paragraph and a change usually means a change in line of thought or some action. That apparently doesn't seem to work for a lot of people.
About Cersei and Robert being one dimensional, they are not. Both the chapters are in first person perspective, which is obviously biased. Most of the character perspectives will be biased like that. Cersei's redeeming qualities will come up either in her own POV or of someone sympathetic to her. I hope people noticed how Harry's POV was mostly political intrigue related while Kara's POV was more geared towards physicality and beauty. That is how I imagine my characters thinking. A military man like Harry has different stuff on his mind than a serving girl like Kara.
About the pairings, let's keep that a mystery for now.
Daenerys's role won't be minor. I just won't write about it since it will mostly be the same as canon. I won't tinker with her plot much. I won't be writing almost any of the canon scenes if there are no changes in them. If people want to read canon scenes, they can always pick up the book. The point of a fan fiction, according to me, is tinkering and experimenting, not regurgitating book chapters.
This story will mostly revolve around the war of 5 kings. It's kind of hard to shoehorn her in. Even Jon Snow will be absent in first half.
Someone pointed out that Daenerys and Joffery's ages don't make sense. Remember, Daenerys was born almost 9 months after the fall of Kings Landing. I imagine at that point, Cersei was already pregnant with Joffery. So the same age adds up(with a few months difference). Catelyn became pregnant with Robb before Ned went off to war. So Robb has to be older than them both. I hope it makes sense now.
Now, a question. Is the chapter size sufficient or should I upload longer chapters with the story moving forward much more ? Longer chapters mean slower update schedule.
