RRTAB: Read, Review, and Tell A Buddy!

Disclaimer: I don't own Sailor Moon!

Another explosion could be heard from the senshi's place in the building. "Suit up, everyone," Venus said. "If we have our masks on, we'll be able to see Usagi and Shingo."

They each slipped on their respective masks to see Moon's astonished face. "You're still going to send my brother out there? But I'm here now!"

Venus shrugged and gave her princess a sympathetic smile. "He's one of the best. Besides, if there are as many youma as they say, we're going to need all hands on deck."

Moon scowled and watched her brother gear up. He smiled at her. "Don't worry about me, Usa," he assured her. "I'll be fine. Just give it your all out there."

"Everyone ready?" Tuxedo Kamen asked.

"Wait a second," Usagi said with a frown. "You're going too? But you're injured!"

"I can't let a few scratches get the best of me," Tuxedo Kamen replied with a smile. He opened the door.

Sailor Mercury, Sailor Venus, and Shingo ran out of the room and towards the heat of the explosions. Sailor Moon stayed behind long enough to give Tuxedo Kamen a concerned glance, then followed her friends.

When the senshi arrived, everything was disastrous. Youma attacked from every angle and the volunteer soldiers were not faring well. Youma after youma took a soldier in its talon or claw respectively and teleported away. For each that teleported away, ten more came flooding through the building's hole. "We can't let them take any more people!" Sailor Venus yelled over the roars and screams.

Another youma took a recruit in its claws. Shingo was the first to react. Using the power of invisibility to his advantage, he launched towards the youma and delivered a kick powerful enough to make it lose its grip. The girl mumbled a thanks into the air, hoping her invisible savior could hear, and ran towards another youma to help someone else.

"Okay," Sailor Moon breathed. "Let's see what this upgrade can do!" She held out her hand to summon her new weapon. A pink scepter appeared in her hand and she gripped it tightly. She looked around. First thing was first. She had to stop other youma from coming in. She pointed the scepter towards the hole and waited for the words to come to her. "Moon princess halation!" she whispered, careful not to let the youma know of her presence.

A light shot out of the scepter and toward the hole. The unfortunate youma that happened to be standing there could only let out a wail of pain as they turned into dust. Sailor Moon smiled and repeated the process as other youma tried to take their place. Again, they immediately disintegrated.

Sailor Moon glanced to see how her friends were doing. Sailor Venus was managing to fight ten of the monsters off at once. "Venus Love-Me Chain!" she swung the chain of golden heart around and struck all of her enemies at once. They disintegrated and she moved on to the next set.

Mercury decided to focus on saving the rest of the recruits. "This way!" she directed them out of the room. She knew that the number of monsters were too much for them as normal humans to handle. They were willing to give their lives trying to stop the monsters but Mercury did not want to chance it. They needed to stay safe at all costs. Some of the youma realized what she was doing and launched towards the fleeing recruits. "No!" Mercury cried. "Shine Aqua Illusion!" She sent a barrage of water towards the incoming youma. The water stopped three of them but one more remained. It grabbed a recruit, a young girl that could not be any older than 15.

Sailor Moon glared at the youma. "Not on my watch!" she mumbled. She ran toward the girl and launched herself off the ground. She grabbed the girl by her boot, eliciting a scream from the girl. The girl began to kick at her invisible "attacker". Sailor Moon held on and pointed her scepter at the youma. It was hard to aim through the kicks but she did not give up. "Moon princess halation!" The light shot out of the scepter and at the youma. It turned to ash, leaving the girl and the senshi to fall.

Tuxedo Kamen ran and jumped to catch them. He caught the recruit in his arms and Sailor Moon in his hand and brought them safely to the ground. "Thank you, Tuxedo Kamen," the recruit said breathlessly. Moon watched with narrowed eyes. Something about that "thank you" seemed a bit too flirtatious.

Tuxedo Kamen smiled. "No problem," he said. "Now get out of here. We can't have you getting captured again." The girl nodded and ran towards the exit.

Tuxedo Kamen help Sailor Moon to her feet. "Are you okay?" he asked, concern present in his voice.

Sailor Moon smiled. He sounded more concerned with her than with the recruit. She relaxed a bit. "Yeah," she said with a nod. "I'm fine." She looked to the cracking and melting ice that surrounded his leg. "How's your leg? You didn't hurt it when you jumped, did you?"

"It's fine. I'm fine," he reassured her. "Now let's handle these things once and for all."

Sailor Moon smiled and nodded. She turned her attention back to the youma. They still did not recognize her presence and that was a great advantage that she had over them. She aimed at three flying youma and launched another attack. They disappeared with a wail.

"Tuxedo La Smoking Bomber!" Tuxedo Kamen sent an attack of his own towards some of the youma. The attack was successful at destroying four youma but it narrowly missed one of them. Obviously faster than its other counterparts and enraged by its near death, it flew towards the man, dodging every attack he sent its way.

It grabbed his shoulder and did not even attempt to fly away first. It began teleporting.

Sailor Moon's eyes widened in horror as the man beside her began to disappear before her eyes. She reacted without thinking, dropping the scepter and grabbed onto the man's disappearing cape. They both disappeared in an instant.

The youma, as quickly as they came, began to flee. They escaping through the hole they made, leaving confused senshi and recruits behind. Venus frowned as she, Mercury, and Shingo gathered. "Did we win?" she asked.

Shingo's eyes fell on Usagi's abandoned scepter. He looked around and realized that his sister was missing. Another scan told him that Mamoru was too. "No," he finally answered Venus's question. "I don't think we did."

Moon groaned as her eyes fluttered open. She sat up. Her head hurt like it did when she found herself in this time. She looked down to see that she was still gripping Tuxedo Kamen's cape tightly. "Tuxedo Kamen," she mumbled his name.

"Quiet," he whispered. "They still don't know you're here."

She moved closer to him, moving her hands from his cape to his sleeve. "Where is here?" she questioned in a whisper.

"I don't really know," he replied. "I woke up just a few minutes ago. I think we're in a dungeon." He pointed to the rusted bars that stood in front of them. Usagi took in her surroundings. Like the rest of the future, it was dark. Stone walls surrounded them. It reeked of death.

Sailor Moon shivered and managed to hold back her tears. Whether she realized it or not, Beryl had captured the Moon Princess. The senshi felt as if she was a walking corpse. She was going to die here.

Tuxedo Kamen took her hand in his. "Don't worry, Usagi," he whispered, trying to soothe her worries. "I won't let them get you. I will not let anything happen to you. You trust me right?"

Sailor Moon nodded but could not help the few tears that escaped. "I trust you," she whispered back, her voice shaky.

Tuxedo Kamen smiled softly and placed a kiss on her forehead. "Good. Do you have your scepter?"

Sailor Moon nodded and held out her hand, summoning her scepter. The two waited a moment but nothing happened. Her heart dropped when she realized her mistake. "I-I must have dropped it when we teleported here."

Tuxedo Kamen sighed disappointedly. "Just great."

Tears welled up in Sailor Moon's eyes again. "I'm sorry," she said. "I-I didn't realize that I dropped it. Everything was happening so fast…"

He wrapped his cape around her and rubbed her back in a comforting manner. "It's okay, Usagi," he whispered. "Don't cry. I'll find another way out of here. I promise."

A youma came through the hall, stepping in front of every cell. Tuxedo Kamen heard the frightened screams. "There are other people here," he whispered to Usagi. "I wonder why they put me in a different cell."

The youma came to his cell. He stood, allow the protection of his cape to fall from Usagi. He could not let the youma see her form. He walked to the bars and glared at the youma. "Look at you," the youma said with disgust. "You could have ruled with Beryl but instead you decide to sit in a jail cell and rot, hoping your little princess will rescue you. You are a disgrace as a prince, Endymion. I don't know what my Queen ever saw in you."

"Sticks and stones," Tuxedo Kamen said with a cross of his arms. "Sticks and stones."

The youma roared with laughter. "I just thought I should let you know. Your princess is dead."

"What?" he decided to play along. "Y-you don't know that. She's still alive. I know it!"

It chuckled. "No," it said. "She is dead. She died ten years ago. And guess what. I was the one that kill her."

Sailor Moon looked up to see the youma for the first time. Through blurred vision, she recognized the youma. It was the one that was responsible for sending her into the future. She stifled a gasp.

"I hit her with a ray," the youma continued. "She was supposed to disappear just long enough for us to take over Earth. She's still not back. That means she died in the time stream. She was probably ripped apart molecule by pathetic molecule." It gasped for dramatic effect. "What if she thought you would save her? What if she died thinking of you?"

Tuxedo Kamen slammed his hands against the bars. "What do you want?" he said between bared teeth.

The youma grinned. "Your tortured face is reward enough. Consider it payback for all the pain you and that brat caused my queen." The youma laughed again and walked away.

Tuxedo Kamen walked away from the bars and took his seat next to Usagi once again. "Well," he mumbled. "They don't know you're here."

"But that it the youma that hit me," she responded. "It might know how to get me back to my time."

"Be that as it may," he said, "it doesn't seem too willing to help us. We have to think of something else."

"Mamoru," she whispered. "I'm really scared. What if we don't make it?"

He sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "Then at least we're together. That's all I could ever asked for."

Usagi smiled and nodded despite herself. "Me too." She leaned her head onto his chest and closed her eyes. She felt him wrap his arms around her. She smiled. She was still scared. Frightened almost to death. Yet, he managed to make her feel safe.

"I got it," he whispered excitedly.

"What?"

"We're going about it the wrong way. They need to know you're here!"

Sailor Moon pulled away from him. Her eyes shined with horror. "Are you out of your mind? I don't want to die!"

"They'll take you to Beryl!" Tuxedo Kamen continued. "She'll want to kill you!"

"I'm still not hearing the good idea in this, Mamoru!"

"It's the perfect opportunity," he smiled and placed his hand on her shoulders. "You could finally end this war once and for all."

"And how would I manage that?" the senshi demanded. "I don't have the Silver Crystal. I don't have ten years of fighting experience like you. I don't even have my weapon."

"Would you rather sit here and rot? Is that what Sailor Moon does in the face of danger?"

Sailor Moon sighed. As stupid as his plan sounded, it was a better alternative than waiting for death in the cell. She pressed the button on her watch and deactivated the invisibility feature. She walked to the bars and peaked out of one of the holes. "Hey!" she called. "Big, tall, and ugly! Come back here! I have a bone to pick with you!" Inside the dungeon, various gasps and whispers could be heard. Even in a room of Resistance recruits, who would have the nerve to speak to a guard youma like that?

The youma growled from outside the dungeon and opened the door. It slammed behind it. "Who said that?"

She stuck her glove hand out of the cell. "Remember me?" she asked.

The youma's eyes widened in realization. "Sailor Moon."

"That's right," Sailor Moon pulled her hand back inside the cell to cross her arms. "Now open this cell so I can show you how alive I really am."

The youma chuckled. "Let's not fight," it said. "My queen has bigger plans for you. Guards!" More youma flooded the room and two of them opened the gates of the cell. The rest immediately grabbed Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen, pinning down their hands. Sailor Moon struggled against the youma but they did not lose their grip. "Take them to Beryl," the youma said with a smirk.

And that's the chapter! Usagi will finally meet Beryl face to face. Will she win? Will she lose? I don't know! I haven't written the chapter yet! But it's up to you! Tell me in a review if you want this to have a happy ending or want it to end in tragedy! Either way, we're nearing the end of this story so I really need you guys to help me out!
