*Finally updated! Sorry it's been so long! I've been super busy, I got into the production so every moment not doing school work is spent practicing harmonies -.- Hope you like this chapter, even though it's a little bit short. Will try and post more frequently

Percy's POV

My mum was still going to be gone for another three days, but Annabeth's dad was supposed to be getting back tomorrow,so we only had one more night together. Today had been… intense to say the least. I mean Jason and Thalia had been way out of line! They had fully insulted both me and Annabeth. I didn't care that they had insulted me, but the way they had treated Annabeth. I could have punched them. Don't they want me to be happy? I'm happier than I've ever been when I'm with Annabeth. I'm serious. This weekend has been the best weekend ever.

It's about 10:30pm and Annabeth had just fallen asleep on the couch. I came back from a shower to find her curled up in my jumper. Sleeping like that would surely hurt in the morning, so I lifted her up, careful not to wake her, and tucked her into bed. Climbing in after her, I slide my arm under her, feeling her snuggle into me, resting her head on my chest. As hard as I try, my mind won't let me fall asleep. "The perks of having a hyperactive brain." I sigh as I watch the hour on the clock tick by. Annabeth stirs on top of me. Nightmares. "Annabeth?" I whisper. Her body starts flailing about and she starts screaming. I pull her into my arms. "Annabeth! Wake up! It's okay, it's just a dream." I say over and over as her eyes fly open. "You're okay." I say cradling her in my arms. "Do you want to talk about it?" she shakes her head at me. "No, it's fine. It's just the same damn nightmare I've been having the past four years." She says. "Have you been awake all night? It's four o'clock in the morning." I look at her clock on the bedside table. Wow she's right. "Uh yeah. Perks of having a hyperactive brain." I say, laughing to myself. "You just need something to calm you down." she says to me, getting out of bed. "Where are you going?" She looks at me and winks, and with a quick "Be right back." She walks out of the room.

I could hear the cupboard doors opening and closing, and the soft footfall of Annabeth walking around the kitchen. After about five minutes, she appears in the doorway holding the tray of cookies we made earlier, and two glasses of milk. "You're amazing, you know that right?" I say to her as she puts the tray down beside the bed. "It's the least I could do after what you have to put up with just to be with me." She says, her voice betrays the guilt I know she's feeling. "Hey wise girl," I say stroking her cheek, "That's not your fault, I've told you that. Right now I would do anything to be with you so Jason and Thalia can get over themselves." I say planting a kiss on her cheek. She intertwines her fingers with mine and lets her head fall on my shoulder.

"You should get some sleep. We have to get up in three hours for school." I say, earning a groan. "Can't we just skip?" She says as I pretend to be shocked. "What? Annabeth Chase wants to… Ditch?" I say, taking the micky out of her. I'm laughing at her annoyed expression when I'm whacked in the head with a pillow. I turn my head to see Annabeth's mischievous face. "Oh you're so on!" I say reaching behind me for the pillow I was sitting on. Just as I grab the fabric, I'm hit again and Annabeth climbs on top of me and pins me down. "What was that seaweed brain?" She says laughing, leaning down to press her lips to mine.
