Well, this chapter took a while to put together. In all honesty I found it hard to come up with the questions Chase and Ally asked each other and then I had to put them in the order of who asked the question. By the way, Ally asked the first question and then they switched off. Just putting that out there right now. And sorry it took a little while, but I finished this on a day that my internet was out, so I had to wait until I got it back for me to post it. Which brings me to another thing. I am in high school and I want good grades so I work on that a lot. So if I have a project or something I probably won't update unless/ until I'm finished it or I have a good head start on it. And of course, Pre-Calculus sucks big time, so there's always that too. So thanks for being so understanding and I try to update whenever I can. Anyway, let's get to the reviews!

TheBritishWannaBe- Glad you love it!

Nicole0725- Rose does not like Chase. She's just protective over him and she really hates Ally (but how cute would their couple name be!? Chose or Rase)

AllAmericanSlurp- Not exactly fast updates, but definitely more than I used to. *Announcer's voice* UPDATED! (I laughed so hard when I read that!)

Blingadingding- Glad you like it!

*Ally's POV*

"You know, I never would have pegged you as a steak guy," I said, shaking my head.

"What would you have pegged me as?" Chase asked.

"Hmm," I thought for a moment. "Honestly you look like the kind of guy that you would see eating salads all the time."

"Hey, just because I'm small doesn't mean I don't like meat," Chase said with an eye roll.

"Fair enough," I shrugged.

"Well what about you?" Chase asked. "What's your favorite food?"

"That's a hard one," I said.

"You asked it," he pointed out,

"True," I admitted. "I guess my favorite food would have to be… Rupert's cooking."

"Oh that is so not fair!" Chase exclaimed, giving me a playful shove. "You can't just say someone's cooking. It has to be a specific food."

"Okay fine," I sighed. "Then it would have to be Rupert's lasagna." Chase whistled.

"That good?"

"To die for," I nodded. "I would kill you, just to have a piece of his lasagna."

"Wow," Chase muttered. "Those must be some good noodles."

"Oh they are," I informed him. "You'll just have to come over the next time he makes it so you can taste it yourself."

"Looking forward to it," Chase smiled. I felt myself blush, not for the first time today, and looked down. We had been playing 20 questions for about two hours and I was actually learning a lot about Chase that I never would have guessed.

Favorite Color- Blue

Brother or Sister- Can't really choose

Favorite Season- Autumn (because school starts again which is totally weird)

Favorite Subject in School- AP Calculus (can you say genius?)

Favorite Pass Time- Reading and inventing things (genius)

Favorite Sport- Martial Arts (that shocked me a bit)

Favorite Animal- Panther

Winter or Summer- Summer

Something Not Many People Know- Plays the guitar (immensely attractive by the way)

Truth of Dare- Dare (which made me even more suspicious that he's hiding something)

Best Memory- Meeting his step brother Leo (I awed at that one)

Favorite Food- Steak

"Okay, it's your turn," I said, flipping my hair away from my face. I thought I saw Chase's eyes linger on me for a moment longer than necessary, but I must have just imagined it… right?

"Um… dream vacation?" he asked. I could tell he was having some slight trouble coming up with questions. I was too. I want to know all about him, but I only have 10 questions to ask, and 7 of them are already gone. I'll admit, his favorite color isn't necessarily what I actually wanted to ask him, but I panicked.

"My dream vacation would probably be… New Zealand," I said.

"Exotic," he commented with a head nod. "Most girls would say Paris or L.A."

"Well," I shrugged. "I actually already went to Paris last summer. Don't get me wrong it was amazing and everything, I just never really wanted to go there. Anyway, what's your dream vacation?"

"The beach," Chase said simply. I raised my eyebrow.

"Just any old beach?" I asked. "You have to say which specific beach."

"Um, I guess a beach in Miami," he answered.

"Miami's nice this time of year," I told him.

"You've been there too?" Chase asked with a chuckle. "Where haven't you been?"

"Alaska," I said, which only made him laugh more. "But we actually have a beach house in Miami. We usually go there for winter break and for part of the summer."

"Wow," Chase whistled again. "So you spend a lot of time there?"

"I guess so," I shrugged. "These past couple of times I've only gone with Rupert because my dad needs to stay here to do work. Which I don't really understand since we started going there because of his job."

"And what, since you spend so much time there he figured he may as well get a house there?"

"Pretty much," I sighed. "But I can't really complain, huh. My family has a beach house in Miami, I have my own room with an ocean view, and a walk in closet full of summery beach clothes… anything a girl could ever want."

"Not everything," he said sympathetically. He didn't have to say the words for me to know what he meant. He meant my dad. I gave Chase a small smile before I cleared my throat and straightened my shoulders.

"Anyway, I guess it's my turn now," I said, getting off the touchy subject. Chase, who obviously noticed my discomfort, just nodded and let me ask another question. You see, it's the little things like that which make me like Chase so much. Not many people who take my feelings into consideration, especially under the circumstances. "Oh, I got one. Who do you have crush on?"

"I'm sorry, what?" Chase asked, leaning forward.

*Chase's POV*

Did she really just ask me that? I'm 96.7% sure that Ally just asked me who I have a crush on. How the heck am I supposed to answer that?

"I asked who you had a crush on," Ally said simply. I pulled a face and thought for a moment. Who did I have a crush on? Do I have a crush on anyone? Am I even capable of something like that? Of course I am, I am still human after all. I looked back at Ally and she was waiting for me answer with an expectant look on her face. These past couple hours I've been learning things about her that I never would have guessed.

Favorite Color- Pink

Brother or Sister- Sister (she's always wanted either an older or younger sister)

Favorite Season- Summer (because there's no school)

Favorite Subject in School- Biology (this semester, but it's usually English)

Favorite Pass Time- Watching funny YouTube videos and spending time with Rupert

Favorite Sport- Cheerleading (and she misses it because Tammy kicked her off the team when she got dumped by the populars)

Favorite Animal- Panda bear (although the flamingo is becoming a very close second)

Winter or Summer- Summer

Something Not Many People Know- Her mom died when she was eight

If You Could Have One Super Power What Would It Be- Teleportation (because she often wishes to be somewhere else)

Truth or Dare- Truth (because she's always scared of what people would dare her to do)

Best Memory- When Rupert was hired as the chef

Favorite Food- Rupert's Lasagna

Dream Vacation- New Zealand

"Uh… I guess I don't really have a crush on anyone," I said after a while. "I still don't know very many people that well."

"Oh," Ally mumbled.

"Who do you have a crush on?" I asked back. Ally's eyes widened and I have a strong feeling that she forgot she had to answer the question too.

"Um… I-I guess no one," she said quietly.

"You stuttered," I pointed out. Ally's face turned red as she looked down and started picking at her purple comforter. "You can tell me. I won't tell anyone."

"I know," she said softly, still not looking up at me. "But really, I don't really like anyone… that way." I kept looking at her. You could easily tell that she was lying, but I didn't want to push her.

"Okay, then it's my turn to ask," I said, getting off the subject. Ally looked up again and gave me a grateful smile.

*Ally's POV*

When Chase asked me who I had a crush on, my heart kind of momentarily stopped. He just said that he didn't like anyone, so I couldn't just tell him that I had a crush on him. That would be awkward beyond belief! But I could tell he didn't believe me when I said I didn't have a crush on anyone. So he knows I have a crush on someone, he just doesn't know that it's him. And I'm planning on keeping it that way.
