*Leo's POV*

"Did you really have to drop me when I was helping you!?" I asked Adam as I rubbed my sore shoulder and stepped out of the elevator. He was bench pressing me again and instead of putting me down gently, he just dropped me right on the cold hard floor.

"You should have stuck the landing," he shrugged. "I totally thought you had that." I rolled my eyes and walked to the fridge to get some ice.

"Aw, did the bionic super human hurt you?" Rose cooed from the couch.

"Yes," I grumbled.

"Nice," she said, fist bumping Adam. I glared at her.

"Hey, where's Chase?" I asked, looking around. "I haven't seen him in hours." Rose' smile instantly slid off her face and was replaced with a scowl.

"He's at the witch's house," she growled. You could tell she was practically seething.

"Again?" I said just to fuel her fury. It doesn't take a genius to see that Rose hates Ally with a passion. Even Adam knows, and he's about as far away from genius as you can get. I just wish I knew why Rose hates Ally so much.

"Yes, again," Rose snapped, sending me glare from across the room. "I don't see why he would rather hang out with her in her dungeon of a house than here with us."

"Uh, he's lived here for a really long time," Adam said. I have a feeling he's going to say something that makes Rose even madder. "And he's really into that medieval stuff, so he probably loves it at her dungeon." Roses face started turning red. Yep, I was right, Adam made her even madder. I better leave before she takes out her anger on me.

*Ally's POV*

"Okay, last question," I told Chase. "Make it a good one." We'd been playing 20 questions for hours now, always going way off topic after each question asked.

"Uh… I can't think of anything," Chase admitted with a chuckle.

"C'mon, you're a genius yet you can't think of a question to ask me," I teased.

"Just because I'm a genius, doesn't mean I have an unlimited amount of questions to ask," Chase said. "I'm a genius because I know the answers, not because I know the questions."

"Wow," I mumbled. "Good point."

"Why don't you just ask the last question," Chase suggested. I thought about it for a minute.

"I guess that's okay. But you owe me," I joked. I thought about it, but I couldn't really come up with anything to ask him that wouldn't scare him off or make him suspicious. Suspicious that I'm suspicious of him and his family I mean. Or make him suspicious that I like him. Which, either way, would scare him off regardless. There's also the fact that I have to answer the question too. Well, I may as well let him know that what he's doing for me means a lot. "Um… who is your best friend?"

"My best friend?" Chase asked with a weird look on his face. I nodded, feeling a bit uneasy. "Well, aside from my family my best friend would definitely be Rose."

"Is she the one that looks kinda scary?" I asked.

"Yeah, but she's really not scary at all… well, unless you're Leo," Chase chuckled. I racked my brain but I couldn't even remember the girl until I ran into her with Chase at his locker a couple days ago. I have a strong feeling that she doesn't like me very much. I wonder what I ever did to her?

"That's cool," I said lightly. "I knew you guys were friends but I didn't know you were that close."

"Yeah, well she's friends with my sister too so she's over at our house a lot and I see all the time. We have more in common that people think," Chase said thoughtfully. But he snapped out of it after a while and turned to me once again. "So who's your best friend?" And there it is. I gulped down my pride and took a deep breath.

"You."
