Chapter 34… I don't really have anything to say… yeah.

TheBritishWannaBe- Thanks! I try to make it as cute as possible

AtlantaPeach- So glad you like it!

AllAmericanSlurp- Yep that's exactly what I meant

*Rose's POV*

"Who are you texting?" Bree asked her little brother who had barely looked up from his phone since he got home the night before.

"No one," Chase replied immediately. I glared at him, already having a pretty good idea about who he was talking to.

"Talking to the she devil again, huh?" I asked, already knowing the answer. Chase groaned and finally glanced up from his phone.

"Why do you hate her so much?" Chase asked, exasperated. "What did she do to you that was so bad?"

"It doesn't matter," I mumbled, getting up from the couch and walking into the kitchen.

"Rose," Chase sighed. "If it didn't matter then you wouldn't be so mad about me being her friend." I rolled my eyes. "Just tell me what she did."

"I'm not telling you anything," I growled, stalking past him and going to Bree's room. When I got there I started getting all my stuff together.

"Where are you going?" Bree asked me from the doorway. She sure is a sneaky little thing. I didn't even hear her.

"I'm just going home," I sighed, rubbing my head. "If Chase is just going to interrogate me about something that happened in the past then it's better if I leave."

"He's just worried about you," Bree said. "And so am I." I groaned loudly. "Why don't you just tell us what Ally did to you. Maybe if you did Chase would stop hanging out with her." I stopped shoving my clothes in my bag and thought for a minute. She does have a point. If I told Chase what it is that Ally did to me, maybe he would realize how awful she is and stop talking to her. But on the other hand me telling him could push him away, straight to Ally. And that is never going to happen.

*Leo's POV*

"So you were at Ally's house practically all day yesterday?" I asked my older step brother.

"Yeah," Chase replied, not looking up from his phone.

"And you haven't stopped texting her since you left," I added. Chase caught on to what I was getting at and he rolled his eyes.

"What's your point Leo?" He asked me, already sounding annoyed.

"What's going on with you two?" I got right to the point. "Do you like her? Does she like you? Are you two secretly dating? Did you discover she's secretly a mermaid?" Chase lowered his phone and gave me a strange look.

"Really Leo? A mermaid?"

"Says the bionic super genius," I sassed. "That's right, I went there."

"There is nothing going on between me and Ally," Chase said. I opened my mouth. "And no she's not a mermaid." I shut my mouth again.

"Well then, I take it that you've splashed water on her to back that statement up," I said. Chase rolled his eyes and shook his head.

"Leo is this conversation going anywhere or are you just being annoying?"

"Well that's hurtful," I said, putting my hand over my heart. "I will have you know that I am just a concerned and interested brother."

"Popular kids are asking you about us aren't they?" He asked immediately.

"Yes," I said, not bothering to lie. "And I want to get the full inside scoop so the football players will stop giving my wedgies as their workouts." Chase grimaced before looking back down at his phone without answering. "Chase? Hello? Is anyone in there?" He just kept ignoring me until I got annoying enough and he went downstairs to the lab and locked himself in his capsule. If I didn't know he loved me, that would have hurt.

**Ally's POV**

"Are you sure you're feeling okay?" Rupert asked for the fiftieth time that night. I rolled my eyes and leaned further into my pillows.

"Once again, I feel much better," I assured him.

"Does that happen to have anything to do with talking to Chase?" Rupert gave me a knowing smirk.

"No," I said. "I guess it was just an hour long thing."

"Sweetie, there's no such thing as a one hour thing," Rupert said with a chuckle. "You only started feeling sick once Chase left and as soon as you started talking to him again, you felt better. I think you actually are sick."

"Rupert, I promise you, I'm not sick," I told him again.

"Oh, I'm not talking about having the flu or a cold or anything like that," Rupert said mischievously. I raised an eyebrow at him. "I think you're love sick."

"Love sick!?" I gasped. "Love sick for Chase? You my dear chef are insane. I am not love sick over Chase."

"I never said who," Rupert pointed out, the smirk never leaving his face. I groaned and hid my burning face in a pillow before Rupert could see.

"You are so wrong," I mumbled into the soft pillow.

"Uh huh," Rupert scoffed. "And that's why you're blushing."

"I'm not blushing," I lied, digging my face further into the pillow.

"Then why was your face red and you're trying to hide it from me?" Rupert asked smugly.

"My face is cold," I said. It is true, my face really is cold.

"You may as well admit it," Rupert said gently. "It's not going to be long before someone notices and tells him." And that was exactly what I was afraid of.
