Hey guys!
It's been like what? A year?
Do I even have readers anymore? *sobs*
Sorry for not updating this! I really don't have a good excuse (long story short, I was lazy)
If you're reading this, thank you so much! Thank you for being there even if I didn't update, for the really short chapters, and for the cheesy scenes thrown here and there! I appreciate it very much!
This is the final chapter, sorry if it's short and rushed *hides in a corner*
Anyhow, here it is, after a freaking year, it's here!

Gray was a very patient guy.
He should be, with all the crap he's been through? He never doubted his endurance under difficult circumstances.
But this?
This is madness.
"Holy shit Natsu!" this was Elf-man, trying to evade Natsu's attack, while burning the tip of Erza's skirt in the process. And of course, Erza went to Natsu and gave him a beating.
You might wonder why Gray finds all this tiring. Besides, a friendly spar between the male guild members, plus Erza, is quite normal. The thing is, even the girls in the guild are going "ape-shit" as he may describe it.
"I placed 100 jewels on Natsu!" This was Lucy, trying to place the bag of jewels on to Mirajane's palm.
"I vote for Gajeel! Wendy, who is your bet?" asked Levy, all prim and proper with her books in hand.
Wendy was reluctant to answer, Gray noticed, but then Wendy muttered a name, a name Gray and all of Fiore knows that actually took the interest of the young dragon-slayer.
"I choose Ro-Romeo."
At this, Gray smiled.
All the commotion the women of Fairy Tail are having is all about the spring brawl, betting jewels on men they find worthy enough to win the frivolous event.
"I bet 250 jewels on Gray-sama!"
This statement made Gray's heart stop. At the center of the guild, there stood Juvia, his Juvia.
He was all sweaty with Juvia's words. A two-hundred and fifty jewels? That's a lot. He is not strong enough to beat all the competitors in the event, but still, with the confidence his woman is having? That actually made him feel worthy.
"Juvia, you don't have to bet on me." said Gray who approached her. He noticed that she was wearing the same dress she wore on the thrift place. Her hair was in a high pony tail, leaving some strands falling on her petite face.
"But Gray-sa- I mean Gray." she stuttered while remembering Gray's request to stop calling him that, now that they're official.
"Juvia chose you to show other people Juvia's support, and I don't care if you lose or not, Gray, I'll always be like that whether you like it or not." Juvia continued.
Gray was baffled. Was she always this supportive before they were official? He then just wrapped his arm on her shoulder, nuzzling comfortably on her cobalt tresses. Idiot, doing things he doesn't deserve at all.
"Hey Popsicle!" Natsu shouted while dragging Lucy with him. Lucy looks annoyed with her arched eyebrow and menacing eyes staring directly at Natsu, Gray doesn't want to be in his rival's position. Girls were scary.
"Lucy chose me and betted a hundred jewels! Whaddaya say popsicle?!" Natsu said proudly while Lucy forced to break free from Natsu's iron grip. Her efforts were in vain though. Natsu kept her in place by placing his bulky arms around her shoulders.
"Well, flame brain, Juvia betted 250 jewels on me!" Gray said while tightening his grip on Juvia.
They went on and on, while a deep voice interrupted them.
"Three-hundred jewels on Erza Scarlet." A guy with thick robes and blue hair stood in the crowd.
"Jellal? Why are you here?!" Erza stopped midway from punching Elfman.
"I'm here to see you fight." Jellal said with a knowing smile on his face. Erza dropped Elfman and conversed with Jellal like there is no tomorrow.
Everything went normal after Erza left the fight, tables were thrown everywhere, Natsu still arguing about how Lucy is right about betting on him, Gray arguing that he went lose after Juvia trusted him, and so on.
The master, Makarov, then announced that the spring brawl will start anytime, and the participants shall go to the town hall for the event.
Gray held a hand with his middle finger extended, provoking Natsu to set Gray's hair on fire.
Lucy and Juvia just stared at each other, the look of disappointment in their faces. Gray then carried Juvia out of the guild while Natsu did the same. Both mages stared at each other, a knowing smirk planted on both lips.
"Let's see who's faster!" Both Natsu and Gray shouted.
Lucy was simply bored with the events happening, while letting Natsu carry her on his back.
Juvia was delighted; she snuggled on to Gray's back while sniffing his scent. Juvia never expected things to turn out like this. She never expected Gray to be his.
Wind made Juvia's hair sway in all directions. Gray run like his life depended on it. He ran while making the ground Natsu was running turn into ice. Natsu slipped and Lucy was underneath him. She hit his head while brushing of the dirt from her short skirt.
Juvia just stared at them and laughed inwardly.
"That was very mean." Juvia muttered. Gray heard him anyway. "He deserves it." Gray said with no guilt.
Juvia then stared at him, the love of her life. She may never know what will happen to them, what will happen after the spring brawl, after new events, she will never know.
But as she stared at him, with her on his back, she will just enjoy the moment. She tightened her grip on him, making sure she will never let go.
Making sure that she will never let him go.
She was his.
And that'll stay like that forever. She has the luck of spring, and her fortune will never fade.
