Rainbow Dash was flying. Flying Fast. Anypony who bothered to look up from there work could see a long line of rainbow across the sky. Somewhere out there Skootaloo was trembling in awe. Applejack was the first to look up out of all the ponies in Ponyville, across Canterlot and farther. Applejack has been more irritated than usual lately, seeing how care free Rainbow Dash was, how she could fly as fast as she wanted and as far as she please with no work to do made her stomach turn. Any other day she would smile, proud for her friend, but today it annoyed her.

"Why should Rainbow be aloud to do all this fun stuff while I'mwas busy working? Why does Rainbow always have to fly so fast, not taking time to enjoy the scenery? Why can't she help out with Twilight like she used to do? Why? WHY!?"

The word "Why" repeated in Applejack's head over and over as she gritted her teeth and bucked a tree as hard as she could. Tears swelled in her eyes and she continued her rant in her head.

"Why does Pinkie Pie still smile and act silly while our best friend's life is on the line? Why does she keep singing and baking cakes? Why doe she still laugh and giggle all the time?!"

Tears were starting to leak down her face and drip off her chin as her eyebrows stayed scrunched together in her frustration. The angrier she got the harder she was kicking, not bothering to pick up the apples that fell outside the barrels.

"How come Fluttershy barely does anything to help either? Spending all her time in her cottage crying about herself while our friend could be overdosed right now... All she's done was give Twilight her couch which just gives her more of a reason to shoot up anywhere in her house!"

Applejack's teeth were tightly clenched together. She could hear her heart beating in her ears as she kicked a tree one more time, so hard her hoof drove through it getting stuck. With even further frustration Applejack tried pulling her back leg out but couldn't. She let out constant loud grunts as she pulled and pulled until her loud grunts of frustration became gasping sobs.

Tears, saliva and mucus dripped off her face as she cried harder than she ever did. She could feel the lump in her throat aching, her back hoof hurt from the splinters in the tree jabbing into her leg. She started yelling. No audible words, just screams of despair as images of what her dearest friend has become raced through her mind with the constant word, "WHY!? WHY!?" cried out to her. The saliva poured out of her mouth along with the tears pouring out of her eyes. She started coughing, the sobs irritating her throat too much until she started urging. Vomit splashed out of her mouth and onto the grass in front of her. It wasn't much but it was enough to give her a bit of a scare.

She always heard Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie use the expression "I cried so hard I threw up" but she never really knew it was possible. Her crying slowly calmed down until it was just subtle breathing as she stared down at the bile she just spat up. She wiped her mouth and took a deep breath and calmly tugged her leg out of the tree.

Pinkie Pie poured a pile of sugar into a mixing bowl. She then happily skipped over to the nearest carton of milk and poured that in too. She didn't know what she was making, just experimenting hoping she could make something tasty for all her friends. After a while she noticed she wouldn't be able to make something for everypony in Ponyville since they're all her friends too. She frowned and decided to just make some for her five closest ones. Pinkie was slamming tray of nonsense batter into the oven when she heard the knocking on the door.

With a dash she was at the door within 0.2 seconds. She opened it extremely quiet however, not to wake up the Cake's twins, who were sleeping in a crib that Pinkie moved to the living room so she had easy access to them. Mr and Mrs Cake were out on business for the weekend and agreed to let Pinkie watch their two kids. The pink earth pony agreed happily. Pinkie opened the door and welcomed the pony with a loud, "Hello!"

And there stood Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash, with her rainbow mane seemed rather vibrant today, and her surreal blue coat shined in Celestia's sun, without a welcome, Rainbow Dash walked in. Pinkie Pie didn't mind, just having friends over made her happy as can be. The other ponies followed her inside after Pinkie did a nod.

Applejack took a breath to speak but Pinkie instantly shoved her hoof over AJ's mouth and said in a soft yell. "SHHH! Pumpkin and Pound are sleeping!" Applejack stepped back and looked over at the two sleeping babies. Fluttershy looked over and saw them aswell and gave a modest smile. "Aww...such sweet little angels~" Fluttershy said in a coo.

"Ugh angels? I think two angels would agree to go to sleep at a more reasonable time." Pinkie grumbled. Applejack gave Pinkie a look, a face that said "Can you get your hoof off my mouth now?"

Pinkie did a awkward giggle and took her hand away. Applejack cleared her throat and said in a monotone voice, "Alright, Rarity is going to get Twilight now. Do we all know what to do?" Rainbow Dash landed by Fluttershy and put her arm around her, pulling her close and said in her raspy voice, "Yeah Applejack, we got this!"

Pinkie did a loud, "SSSHHHHH!" (Spitting a lot too)

Rainbow Dash muttered in a snobby tone, "Yeah yeah..."

Fluttershy was blushing a bit and she said quietly, "Um...actually...Rainbow Dash just kinda came and brought me here... Um... Wh-whatever this is... If its fine with all you could I leave a bit early? I was kinda in the middle of feeding my little critters when she came..."

Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes, "Ugh, I waited for like ever!"

Flutters looked down to the ground and mumbled, "You waited for 5 minutes..."

Applejack stomped her foot to tell the ponies to get back into focus, which caused Pinkie to go just a inch from AJ's face and say "SHHHHH!", covering AJ's face with spit.

Applejack wiped her face and apologized. She then tilted her hat and began to explain to Fluttershy, "Well Fluttershy, I don't know about y'all, but ah' had it up to here with Twilight's behavior. So Rarity is going to bring Twilight over when she wakes up,"

Pinkie interrupted, "Rarity's taking a nap?"

Applejack grumbled, "Ugh...No Pinkie Pie, Twilight is sleeping, when she wa-"

Pinkie interrupted again, "Alright just checking!"

Applejack paused again, waiting to see if Pinkie had anything else to say. When she noticed Pinkie was done, she continued speaking, "When she wakes up, Rarity said she's gonna bring Twilight over here, and we're all going to give her a good ol' fashion friend to friend talk. Give her a lecture about her attitude, if she agrees then we're all gonna to help her the best we can."

She lowered her head and said with a spiteful tone, "we're ALL gonna help her" she thought of each of her friends. She raised her head and looked at each of them. They loved her friends. She loved them like they were family; she considered them her family after all. Her eyes watered a little, the fact that she loved them so much was the only thing stopping them from yelling at them.

"Alright, so she accepts our help and everything's all fine" Rainbow Dash said, flying up only 3 feet into the air, "What if she doesn't accept our help?"

Fluttershy looked down to the floor. Pinkie frowned a bit and looked over at Applejack, whom was looking up at Rainbow with a angry face. Not too angry, more so irritated.

"If Twilight doesn't accept our help...ah' don't know..." Applejack said, pulling her hat over her face.
