Hey, sorry for that last ending, also I apologize for those of you read the next chapter before I realized this part was missing. I hope this clears up some confusion.
I cried as I saw the love of my life on her knees dying. I saw her how I had always pictured her, with her skin glowing golden. Her brown hair with red spots from the reflection. Her gorgeous smile missing though. I couldn't help her. She had done what she had done for me and I couldn't save her. But I would avenge her as soon as I could. Then the unthinkable happened.
She pushed herself to her knees and grabbed the knife that she had stabbed herself with and threw it at the master. I heard the master groan and hit the floor, and then Katie pushed herself to her feet. Her arms flung wide and her head thrown back and golden light burst from her appendages. She screamed as if she was in agony, and I recognized what it was. She was regenerating. She was more than human. She was my angel. Some of the regeneration energy hit the control switch on the wall and somehow all the leather straps came undone. I jumped down and waited until it was safe to touch her.
It didn't take long for her to finish regenerating. I was frozen with shock. Her once light brown hair was now black as night, her green eyes now brown, and her pale skin now tan. She was taller too, and still smiled brighter than the sun. She didn't even glance at me but instead she grabbed the Master's arms and dragged him to where the three of us stood in shock. She held his hand and then grabbed the Doctor's hand. "Hold tight and find a way to keep him from hurting anyone else." The Doctor nodded. "What are you going to do?" He asked. "What I have to do." She replied. Then she grabbed Rose's hand and had her hold the Master's hand the Doctor followed suit, and I finally found my voice. "No you're not sending me away." I stated firmly "I wouldn't dream of It." she replied. Then she turned to the Doctor. "Hold tight both of you and don't let go. He may wake up but you need to keep the universe safe from him." They both nodded and she closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and before long the trio disappeared in a golden cloud.
As soon as they were gone she turned to me and said "I love you even if I changed on the outside nothing will ever change that." Then she stepped forward and kissed me she kissed me as passionately as she ever had, mid way thru the kiss I began to feel lighter and as if I was moving even though I stood still. I opened my eyes and saw a golden mist and realized what she had done. "NOOOO!" I cried and I saw the regret on her face. "I'm sorry. I couldn't risk you." I heard her whisper and then she was gone and I stood in the TARDIS.
"Jack you're here. I thought when you got here Katie would be here." Rose said in greeting "So did I." I replied darkly. "See Rose it's not just me who does it." The Doctor said. I turned to him. "We have to go back. We have to help her." I said starting to panic. "No Jack. She can get herself back here safe and sound, but she can't carry this many people so she sent us in groups." "She can carry one, but she sent me without her. Why?" "Because she had to do something else there and needed us out of the way I'd guess." He replied. he took a step toward one control but the TARDIS started shaking and all of a sudden we ended up in a TARDIS looking place but it was bright and shiny and new looking. Then it flickered to coral and back as I heard a happy exclamation.
