Author's Note

Because of some explanations within this chapter, I decided for a point of view change (because I hate jumping between characters inside one chapter). So..what is inside Diana's head? We find out now!
If you haven't read the reworked chapter 15...do it before you read this!

Update 4/24: Changed the ending a bit (will come back in the next chapter..with more detail)

Chapter 16

Back in the League

The sound of roaring engines filled the otherwise silent night somewhere close to the outskirts of Piltover. A few creatures of it, looked up, as the rather strange group passed them. The group drove on something which was more or less a street, lit by some magical lights. In the far distance they already spotted the lights of the city. Around them were only the fields and small forests. The countryside changed much, after they passed the border between the city states.

The four former black vehicles, were covered in mud and dust. And like them, so looked their drivers. With a more or less annoyed gesture Diana cleaned her goggles one more time, with her fingers. They drove for a few hours now, and Vi had decided to go through a muddy place would be a shortcut. 'Yeah, right', Diana thought sarcastically. They nearly were stuck within this swamp. Nevertheless, she was right about it, that it was indeed a shortcut. Luckily, their trip was overall rather quiet. No other chasers or anything like this.

Diana looked down at the instruments. Her fuel panel was nearly empty, no wonder as they didn't make a stop since their escape. She felt exhausted and tired.

‟How long, Vi?" Diana heard how Riven asked Vi, and with that she broke the silence which had laid over the group since hours.

‟Half an hour I guess...why?", she asked a bit tired, and looked back for a moment, before concentrating on the street again. Caitlyn slept beside her, within the sidecar. She still looked pretty pale, but at least her condition didn't turn any worse.

‟Fuel is nearly empty", Riven answered, somehow monotone. It was clear, that she was exhausted like everyone else.

‟Mine too. Guess we don't make it any longer", Diana added. She looked to her side for a moment. Brian still sat in the sidecar, half asleep. She couldn't blame him, as this trip was rather long, and he was injured.

‟Not better here. Let's make a short stop...won't take long. We're nearly there", Irelia suggested. She was the only one of them, which still looked 'alright'.

‟Alright. Let's stop at this lantern there..so we can see something", Vi replied.

‟Okay!"

Slowly they stopped their motorbikes, under some lonely magical street light. Diana put down her goggles, and stretched her muscles. She saw how the others did the exact same thing. She got down from her bike, and jumped a bit, to get a feeling back in her legs, and looked around. Nothing was to see. She heard some owls and other night creatures, but nothing which would harm them in any way.

Vi searched for the spare fuel tank, and finally found it. While she refilled the bikes, the others walked around a bit. Sitting for hours in the same position, and hold up the balance the whole time was rather exhausting.

While Irelia talked with the now awoken Brian about something, Riven and Diana wandered off a bit.

‟Finally, nearly there", Riven complained besides quietly. Diana opened her pigtails, and shook her head for a moment. She arranged her messy long hair. Some blood was in it, as well as dust and mud. She sighed. Well, at least, she didn't have to wear this horrible hairstyle anymore. She saw how Riven watched her, somehow fascinated.

‟Yeah. I could use a shower...and new clothing", she replied amused.

‟Oh, yeah. That's sound inviting." Riven smiled at her shortly, before she went thoughtfully again. ‟I wonder though...what will happen next?"

‟Huh...guess the League is going to want an exact explanation about this whole thing here", Diana said thoughtfully, while she looked up in the sky. The sky was only lit by the stars. No moon was to see. 'New moon', she thought for a moment. The only time in the month, where the moon disappeared. A phenomenon which she couldn't explain. Why would the moon hide itself?

‟Hm..what about Elena? She's still out there.."

Diana thought about it for a moment, before she grinned broadly. ‟I guess..right now she's cursing and insulting here soldiers and underlings, because they let her precious treasure going away", she replied amused.. ‟Somehow I think she is a pretty sore loser." Riven laughed quietly.

‟When I think about it...", she said, amused, before she followed her view into the night sky. ‟No moon today, huh?"

‟No. But, the stars are still there to guide us", Diana said somehow dreamily. Even when the moon disappeared, the stars were always there. Until today, she didn't know why the Solari elders deny such beauty in the sky. A short thought came into her mind. ‟When this is over, we should lay down again. What do you think?" Riven was the only person, which truly understood her. The one person which didn't care about her origin, and source of power. And the one person she loved more than anything else.

‟Not a bad idea. Could use a rest..", Riven replied, and a tone of happiness was in her voice.

‟Hey, you two! We're ready to go!", Vi yelled, in their direction.

‟Alright, we're coming!", Riven yelled back and turned around. ‟Huh...I should ask Vi if I could get this motorbike as my regular method of transportation."

‟You really like it?", Diana asked, amused, with a smirk. ‟I thought you don't like technology."

‟Somehow...it's fast, you can move through nearly every kind of terrain. And, I really like the feeling of freedom, when mountains and everything else just pass us", Riven answered, while she put on her goggles again. Diana followed her example.

‟Well, ask Vi about this." she winked at Riven and got on her bike, while Riven did the same thing with her own.

‟Uah..one more time, I guess", Irelia complained. Her blade hovered beside her, as she got up on her bike. Silently, Diana agreed with her. These machines were horrible. It was unnatural, loud..not to mention that it smelt terrible. Diana sighed.

‟Yep. But, after that you can rest", Vi replied, and grinned. ‟Already, everyone ready? Then let's get moving!", Vi exclaimed, even though she yawned, and the motors started again.

As they got closer to Piltover, the streets started to get better and better, together with the light. They passed some smaller suburbs. All buildings here were painted in a pure white, and looked pretty advanced and modern. Behind some windows, light still burned. Diana spotted some water mills, build around a lake as well as windmills, even though she didn't have any idea for what they were used.

They entered the heart of the city through some form of highway, and Diana was again somehow impressed from this city. Left and right from them, were the skyscrapers. Behind most of them, Diana still saw light, most likely people who worked overtime. Even it was night, the city streets were lit up pretty good. They drove in a line behind Vi, which led them through the road system within the city.

While they followed Vi's lead, Diana saw that many people were still around on the streets. They looked at them with a mixed facial expression. After they recognized Caitlyn it turned a bit brighter though. Diana couldn't blame them. A group which was riding bikes, wore Zaun's street wear, and were dirty from mud and dust from their feet to the head didn't look very friendly. More like some form of gang, than champions of the League.

Finally, they stopped before the police department of Piltover. They got down from their bikes, and looked up. The department was filled with light, and the doors were suddenly opened. Police officers stormed out of it, together with a few men in long purple robes. 'Summoners?', Diana thought, and frowned.

‟What the hell is that supposed to be?", Vi complained loudly.

‟Officer Vi? Sorry, didn't recognize you", one of the officers said somehow defensively. ‟We got some calls, that a suspicious group moved through the city streets...so we were about to move out."

‟Ah, alright then. Well, no time here. Just wanted to report in, that we're back...but, what are they doing here?", Vi pointed at the summoner.

‟Well...it's about your little journey in enemy territory. I'm a representative of the League", one of the hooded people said calmly and stepped forward. ‟And our job is to bring you back to the League. An emissary of Zaun came to us yesterday, and reported an attack from some champions of the League. The description he gave us, fitted to you here. So, we came here in search for you..." He smiled for a moment. ‟And I think we were right. Even though I have to admit...", the summoner looked at Riven, ‟The League is rather curious about how you have find 'The Exile'. We lost contact with her, a few days ago."

‟We will explain everything, once we're there", Riven replied. Diana clearly heard how, she tried her best to hide her anger. Most likely because Zaun tried anything to play the innocent.

‟You don't understand...the League demands that you all come back, as soon as we caught you. You have a ban to going out, as long as this matter isn't resolved", the summoner said.

‟Wait, wait. We have wounded, and are exhausted." Diana frowned and looked at the summoner, with a suspicious expression. She didn't trust him somehow. Even though, she didn't have any real reason for it.

‟That has time. Now...would you drive us to an empty place? Otherwise, my magic will not work correctly", the summoner asked one of the officers. The sound of his voice was somehow...disgusting and arrogant.

‟If the League demands it...", he answered plainly. ‟I guess you all should come with us.."

‟I come too", Brian said, and stood up, as good as he could with his leg. ‟I will explain everything to the League and show you that these brave ladies here are innocent in every way."

‟Alright, then...", Irelia sighed frustrated.

‟Argh...fuck it", Vi complained angrily and picked up Caitlyn.

They walked to some of the waiting police cars and got in, while Diana's mind started working. 'Something's...not right', she thought for a moment. They had everything on their side, so that shouldn't be a problem. They tell the truth, and that's it. She took a deep breath. She knew very well, that telling the truth wasn't always a good thing.

She looked over to Riven, which didn't seem to be very relaxed. In fact, she looked...nervous and stressed in some way. She put a hand on her thigh and gently stroked her, to calm her down a bit. Riven smiled at her for a moment, before dwelling on to her thoughts. During the short ride, they were silent.

They stopped somewhere at the harbor, a nearly empty dock was their destination. The group got out, and gathered close to the summoners. The officers watched them, with a suspicious expression on their faces. Even though they didn't do anything.

‟Alright, stand still. We will come out at one of the summoner platforms", the summoner said, and drew something out of his robe. It looked somehow like a miniature of a nexus. Most likely some magical item. He and the others started to mumble a spell, and Diana immediately felt the magic. Small blue lights started to spin around them, just like they would be summoned. She relaxed and closed her eyes, then she was away.

The moment was rather short this time. Only for a few seconds it felt like she was between worlds, before she already felt the ground under her feet. She opened her eyes, only to see a sword which was directly pointed at Riven's nose. A flaming sword, which looked like it wasn't from this world.

‟Eh...hi", Riven said confused. They looked to the person who wield the sword. She had a female human body, and would be a human, if the giant wings on her back wouldn't be there. She wore a golden piece of armor. It was none other than Kayle, the Judicator, one of the champions who worked for the League.

‟Weapons down!", the summoner yelled. One after another appeared on the summoner platform, the last ones were the other summoners.

‟Oh, I am sorry", Kayle said, apologizing, and put down her sword. ‟I didn't expect you at this time. I thought you were some intruders or something like this."

‟We're clearly not!", Vi exclaimed. She helped Caitlyn to walk and looked to the angelic being.

‟Alright. You're interrogation will be tomorrow. Until then you can rest...I suggest you both should visit the medical wing", the summoner suggested to Vi and Brian.

‟A fucking good idea! Out of my way!", Vi exclaimed angry and nearly kicked one of the summoners away, as she left the room. He threw curses at her, for her bad behavior.

‟Could you help me one more time?", Brian asked Irelia, with a crooked smile. Irelia sighed, but smiled.

‟Alright, alright. Come with me then..we will see you both tomorrow", she answered. She nodded at Diana and Riven, then she left with him too.

Slowly the room got emptier. Kayle nodded at them shortly, before she followed the emissary summoner out of the room. The rest left as well, before Diana and Riven were the only one left.

‟Well...I will take a shower now. May I...can I visit you after that?", Diana asked.

‟You can...will help to get a clear head", Riven answered, with a smile. Even though her face turned a bit red.

‟Alright..see you then", Diana said, and with that she left the summoning room to get to her room. She heard how Riven left through another door, as their rooms laid on different sides of the Institute.

During her tour through the Institute, she met only a few other champions and summoners. Most of them were already sleeping, good for her. She tried her best to avoid any other champion, as she didn't want any arguments or talk with them right now. She was too exhausted, and her head was too filled with the stuff for tomorrow.

She finally reached her room, and opened the door. If her room was one thing, then it was traditional. It was furnished in a typical style from Mount Targon. The ground was made out of white and black marble, while the rest of it was made out of solid wood. A comfy, big bed, many different chests for her personal stuff and clothing, as well as a deckchair. The walls were decorated with symbols of the Lunari. A solari probably wanted to burn down her whole room, because of heretic symbols. She grinned at the thought of it.

'Anyway', she thought and dropped her armor on the ground. She stretched her muscles, and grabbed some new clothing out of one of the chests. 'I should hurry...don't want to be late.'

She took a rather short, but hot shower, and looked down at herself in a thoughtful moment. She had some cuts and bruises all over her body, back from the fight in the facility. Nothing serious though. Although the soldier gave her a pretty hard time.

After she was finished, and fully dressed and armored again, even though she wondered why she did this in the first place, she left her room. She didn't know exactly where Riven's room was, but she knew that it was between more or less neutral, like Bandle City and Bilgewater, champions. The whole Institute was scaled into factions, so they didn't start arguments and brawling in the whole building.

After a short walk through the silent Institute, she finally found it. There wasn't a real name on the door, just their title within the League. ‟The Exile". She knocked at the door.

After a short moment, Riven opened it. She looked refreshed. She wore her hair open, not like usual pinned up. ‟There you are already? Come in", she said, and stepped aside.

‟Too early?", Diana replied, amused and stepped in. She looked around for a moment. This room was definitely the room of a warrior. Weapons hung on the walls, even a painting of the Noxian landscape. The furniture was made out of solid wood. ‟Noxus typical, huh?"

‟More or less. Even though I have to admit..back in my day we didn't have such luxury in the barracks", Riven replied modestly. Diana heard how Riven locked the door, before they both sat down on her couch. Diana stretched a bit.

‟Finally, a rest. Can't remember when we had one", she complained.

‟Huh...you're getting lazy", Riven said, amused, and earned a little nudge. ‟Hey!"

‟I'm not lazy...I just like the few rests we can have within the League", she replied, and grinned.

‟Yeah, yeah...", Riven said. There was a short silence between them, before Riven broke it again. ‟You know...I have a question..."

‟Just ask", Diana replied, somehow relaxed. She felt pretty good.

‟What happened to you back in Piltover? You didn't tell me about it...or better you didn't tell me anything at all", Riven asked curious.

‟Well, get comfortable. It's a rather long shot, even though I try my best to make it short", Diana answered, while Riven put her head on her shoulder.

‟Yep, that's good", she said amused. Diana smiled shortly.

‟Alright..so it all started back in the hotel..."

A few days before...

Diana woke up with a terrible headache. She rubbed her head. It felt like the moon fell down on her.

She heard glass which cracked, when she moved. 'What..?', she thought for a moment, confused. She blinked to get a clear view of her surroundings. She wore nothing more than a towel, her sword laid down on the ground. The furniture was in chaos, blood on the walls. Then she started to realize, what happened.

‟Riven!", was the first word, she shouted out. She jumped up, her body punished her for this sudden movement with pain in every muscle, and grabbed her blade. Diana looked around, but Riven wasn't anywhere to see. 'They took her! But, who are they anyway?', she thought. Her mind was still a mess, and nothing made much sense. She decided to put on some clothes, would be the best idea in the first place.

When she stepped out of the bathroom again, fully armored and ready, she spotted the dead soldiers outside of their room. Slowly she walked towards them, and knelt down. Their armor was pretty damaged, but she spotted some devices within it. 'Technology?', she thought for a moment. Even though she didn't have anything to do with this stuff, she was pretty sure that these armors, were not built by Zaun. She remembered the canons, on their ferry. Big, coarse. Not fine mechanics like this.

She turned one of them around, and searched the body hoping to find some evidence who these guys were. 'I hope she's fine...', Diana thought for a moment, and crunched her teeth. She swore herself not to cry anymore, after her nearly execution. But, this thing here tested her resolve.

Diana heard a noise, and looked to her side, her blade ready. The elevator opened the doors, and police officers stormed out of it. Pistols and rifles were pointed at her. She heard a well known voice. ‟Weapons down! She's a champion!"

‟Caitlyn!", Diana said, in surprise.

‟And Vi!", another confident voice added. Both of them stepped forward, and looked down at her.

‟What happened here?", Caitlyn asked, surprised, when she saw the dead bodies and the blood on the walls.

‟We were attacked by these guys here. They took Riven with them!", Diana answered. She clenched her fist in anger.

‟Vi? Search them. Maybe we find evidence", Caitlyn ordered in a calm tone. She was clearly in her element. ‟The rest of you, secure this whole building. Every room, every story."

‟Hey cupcake", Vi said suddenly. She had something like a match in her mouth, ‟Isn't this the stolen technology from Jayce?" Caitlyn knelt down beside Diana, and looked over the armor.

‟It is", she exclaimed, surprised, while Vi went on with her search.

‟You mean..these enhancement thing, you told us about? Well, it worked good. They sent us flying through the room, and knocked us out. Fantastic technology", Diana said sarcastically.

‟I'm sorry that happened", Caitlyn said quietly and looked down. ‟Sometimes we really should protect our things better..."

‟Doesn't change anything right now! We...", Diana started, but was interrupted by a loud shout of delight from Vi.

‟Haha, now they're fucked up. This guy here was clearly a junkie..look what he had", Vi exclaimed excited and threw a little box over to Caitlyn, which opened it. Inside of it was a blue substance, which sparkled. It was more or less like a powder.

‟What is that?" Diana frowned, and looked in the box.

‟A drug. It's called crystal shimmer. In short: Consuming it has many effects on the person, in the first place good emotions. But, after a while the body start to degenerate until the point in which the person dies", Caitlyn explained and locked the box again.

‟And...how does that help us?", Diana asked confused.

‟Well, moonlady. It's only produced in Zaun, as only there this dealer finds their ingredients on the free market. So...these guys are from Zaun", Vi concluded. ‟Uhh..we should visit them, and punch them in the face!", she said excited.

‟So, there is a possibility that Riven is there, right?", Diana asked hopefully.

‟Most likely. Well, but this will be against some rules of the League...", Caitlyn said thoughtfully.

‟I don't care about any rules. If you don't want to come with me...I will go alone", Diana said, and stood up. 'No matter what...I save her', she thought grimly.

‟Uh...I come with you! I always wanted to punch our best rivals and show them my best technology!", Vi said excited. Caitlyn sighed, but nodded.

‟Alright...I order the officers to clean everything up..then we go."

‟Well, after that we met Irelia who just wanted a room in the hotel. She came with us, after we explained her the situation...", Diana ended her explanation.

‟I'm...", Riven started, but she didn't have any words. ‟You didn't care about anything?"

‟Not really. I wanted to save you...nothing more. I couldn't care less about the League's judgment. If they want to throw me it..so be it. The League was an opportunity for me to show the world the moon's power...nothing more. I don't care much about their little political matches here ", Diana replied confidently.

‟Hm...you can do that...", Riven said thoughtfully, ‟but, I can't. The League is the only thing, where I can truly show what I want...even though..."

‟What is it?", Diana asked curious.

‟The League is corrupted. Elena didn't just join...other summoners covered her whole story", Riven said, it nearly sounded disappointed. ‟She sneaked in the League...what if other summoners are acting exactly like that? When this whole Institute..is nothing more than a farce?"

Diana was a bit surprised by this news. Yeah, she wondered how Elena was able to sneak in, but that..."Well, that is something big. We better explain that tomorrow", she said thoughtfully. ‟Even though it will be hard enough for us...I mean we don't have any hard evidence." Riven sighed.

‟Yeah..."

‟Hey. Don't make such a face", Diana said encouraging, and smiled. ‟You should cheer up a bit. I mean you were rescued and didn't die in some Zaun labor. Would be rather hard to explain for me, that this damsel in distress died, even though I swore to protect her."

Riven's facial expression was somewhere between blushing, and some kind of anger. ‟Hey! That's not my fault! I didn't want to be the center of so much attention around me. Just wanted something like a...well...'regular' is not the right word for it, but I just wanted a life after the whole thing", Riven protested. Diana laughed quietly.

‟I know. I know. You're just a little soldier girl with a free spirit...because of that, you get hunted down by agents from Zaun, Noxus and everything else", Diana replied amused. Riven grumbled.

‟Oh, I am sorry for that", Diana added and leaned towards her. She gave her a short kiss on the lips, which Riven returned after a second. After a short moment Diana withdrew from her, and grinned broadly. ‟Works out..you smile."

Riven sighed, and shook her head. ‟I make it far too easy for you...", she said. ‟Well, how did you find me in Zaun anyway? That's a rather big city..."

‟Well, that's another part of the story...I'll make it short", Diana began anew.

Somewhere in Zaun...a few days ago..

‟Any idea where we should start?", Diana asked, and looked around. She didn't feel very good. She was forced to wear this ridiculous short clothing, which showed far too much skin for her taste. Beside, her long white hair was knotted into two long pigtails, which was even more ridiculous than the clothing.

‟Not really. Zaun is big, and we can't ask any people here...", Caitlyn asked. She wore this outfit, like it was her usual attire, which was cut short anyway.

The small group stood on some big town square which was filled with hundreds of merchants. And with even more people. The yellow smog hindered the sunlight, to light up the square. 'A yellow sky...these people are crazy...', Diana thought disgusted. She glared over to a man, which looked over her trained body. He quickly looked into another direction. Diana crunched her teeth. Now she knew for sure, why Riven hated this place so much.

‟We should move...maybe we find some evidence...", Irelia whispered. She wore a tight, dark leather outfit, and even though it would normally just hovering beside her, she held her blade with one hand. Some smaller blades were attached to her clothing. Even with that, she was the one who attracted the most attention, something they didn't need now.

While they walked over the square, Diana looked around. She was only here for a short moment, but she already thought that killing all of these...'humans' wouldn't be a bad idea. She spotted some merchant who sold the same blue substance, they found on the dead soldier. Drugs, money, crazy experiments, technology...she hated everything in this city. It looked like most of these people, didn't have any goal in their lives.

‟Someone's following us", Irelia said quietly. Diana looked to her side, and spotted a man, which followed them. He didn't even try to hide it. It nearly looked like, he wanted that they spot him.

‟Before us is a side alley...let's go in there...", Caitlyn whispered, and the others nodded.

Slowly they walked into the dark alley. No other peoples were around, and only a few damaged street lights lit up the whole place. The ideal place for an attack. Like they hoped the man followed them, before he stopped.

‟Hey ladies! You there...aren't you Irelia?", he asked curiously, but before he could react any further, Vi had turned around, and charged at him. She grabbed his shirt, and pressed him against a wall with her giant hextech gloves.

‟Why do you following us?", Vi snarled at him.

‟I'm just interested, why someone like Irelia..", he pointed at her, ‟well, why someone like her is in an enemy city state." Even though Vi held him up, he still sounded more or less confident.

‟Why should we tell you?", Diana asked calmly. The man looked at her for a moment, his face showed something like an epiphany for a moment.

‟Wait..wait! You're Diana aren't you?", he asked.

‟Eh...I am! What is it?", Diana asked back, her voice still calm. 'What's with this guy?', she thought for a moment, and frowned.

‟You're a champion right?" Diana nodded. ‟Oh, thanks to all gods. Then you must be the one, this Riven had spoken about."

There was a short moment of silence, before Diana realized what this man had said. She nearly punched Vi away from him, and grabbed his shirt by herself. Vi grumbled quietly. ‟What did you just say? Riven? You know her? Where is she? WHERE?!" She had one hand at her blade. If she needed to do it, she would torture this man until he spoke.

‟Uhh! Let me punch him! Then they usually speak!", Vi said excited and, cracked her fingers, even though she did it with her gauntlets.

‟Diana! Vi! Calm down, and let him speak", Caitlyn, and Irelia said reassuring.

Slowly Diana let him go. She took a few deep breaths to calm down a bit.

‟Much appreciated", the man said, and stood up again. ‟Alright. From the beginning. My name is Brian Fawkes. I'm working in the facility in which Riven is hold captive. But, before you start punching and torturing me...listen up. I don't have anything to do with Elena. I will help you out, because I promised it to Riven too. Follow me, and we will make a plan."

‟Elena? Isn't that the summoner girl?", Diana asked confused.

‟Yeah. She is behind everything...follow me please. I don't want to talk about that in the public", Brian said calmly, and started to walk.

They looked at each other for a moment. ‟Well, let's try it out. It's our best hint we had", Irelia said, the rest nodded. Slowly they followed Brian through the alleys and streets.

'Keep it up, Riven. I'm coming closer with every step...', Diana thought.

‟Well...you know the rest. We went in through the front door, while taking out some of the guards...that's it", Diana ended the story. She took a deep breath. She wasn't used to it, to speak that much. She usually tried to say anything in a few words.

‟Huh..so we were lucky that Brian saw you, huh?", Riven asked, a bit surprised. She looked at her, her face showed a smile.

‟Yep", Diana answered plainly. ‟Without him, I doubt we would have find you."

‟You really wanted to torture him?" Riven's voice was doubtful. Diana rubbed the back of her head, a bit embarrassed.

‟You know...in this moment, nothing mattered to me. I would have done it...or I guess so", she started slowly, in search for better words. ‟So, it is true in some way. Love makes you blind at some points..and you forget nearly everything what you learned."

Riven blushed slightly. ‟Well, turned out good enough", she said plainly.

‟But, you must swear one thing to me...don't get captured or something like this. You make my job unnecessary harder", Diana replied amused. Riven gave her a little nudge.

‟Gosh..alright. You know what? I just stay around you the whole time...will be better then." Diana laughed quietly, and put an arm around Riven, which snuggled up to her. They both went silent for a moment, and just enjoyed each others touch. After a short moment of silence between them, Diana broke it again.

"Mhm..one question, Riven? The door is closed and locked?"
