Chapter Six
When Sora emerged from his sexual reverie, he dressed himself, Zexion nowhere to be found. Whatever they had put in his drink wasn't powerful enough to knock him out or affect his judgement but it had sent that experience to a new level. The drugs still seemed to be in his body because he still felt that tingle whenever he touched something.
Zexion was very powerful even though he didn't look like it. He was extremely dominant and didn't hesitate to hurt and overpower Sora, but only enough to add sexual diversity. Sora wasn't scared, but he could now see that he could have raped that boy.
Sora collected himself and rubbed his face to put life into it. He still felt under the influence, but he walked to the door in spite of himself. He had been very thoroughly fucked, and he had, in all honesty, thoroughly enjoyed it. Even though he had had his fill for now, he wanted more. He knew that the once dormant darkness within him had become reborn.
When he entered the large hall, still stumbling with shaking legs, Axel was quick to support him.
"Are you okay? Zexion's quite a feat for your first time here." Axel's look of worry was very cute.
Sora smiled despite the pain shooting up his back. "Yeah."
"Good. We don't get many initiates, so everyone's pretty excited right now. They all want to know what power you have." Axel said this as though it was common talk.
Sora had no idea what was going on here, but come to think of it, a lot of strange things had been happening. Zexion's invisibility was one of them… was that what he was talking about when he said power?
Then Axel did the most incredible thing.
Out of what seemed to be habit, the tips of his fingers set fire like candles. "I hope Zexion didn't do anything you didn't enjoy, or he has me to deal with." He waved his fingers around, the flames flickering and licking around his hand.
Sora shrieked, but found he wasn't driven to run away at all. It was incredible. This was one of the things he dreamt about, and he never ever thought it possible. This was magic.
"Sora?" Axel ruffled his hair and smiled at his bewilderment.
"I'm…fine." Sora smiled back childishly. "And no, he didn't."
"Stop showing off, Axel." A person his age with long silver hair had come up to the fire and dispelled it with his hand. It was Riku.
"You stop showing off. Just because you have the power of All." Axel spat and pulled Sora closer to him.
Riku raised his eyebrow indignantly and looked at Sora curiously. "You seem to have survived the first round. I hope you're looking after him Axel, just don't make him your pet this time."
"Roxas was not my pet. Do you find pleasure in bringing that up?" Axel was trying hard to keep cool, but that was something he never did apparently.
Riku smirked. "Not particularly, I just have a feeling history is about to repeat itself."
"Sora's more different to him than you think. How can you say that just by looking at him? Have you even tried to get to know him?" Axel's eyebrow was twitching, a clear sign he was well and truly pissed off.
Riku chuckled. "You know I'm not into that. It doesn't delight me to take someone's innocence and indulge in it."
"Who said I was innocent?" Sora blurted out. He wasn't trying to give Riku the wrong idea, even though he was straight and unattainable to begin with.
Riku's eyebrow shot up, which looked unbelievably sexy in Sora's opinion. He had that air of indifference and superiority that he knew only the rich had. He must have been brought up well.
"Only the repentant go to heaven." Riku said supremely before he walked off towards the stage.
Sora scowled. "Is he always like that?"
"Religious? Oh yes. The only things he loves are himself and god. He doesn't give a shit about anything else. He truly does believe his power came from god, but everyone else thinks differently. However, he does have the power to awaken power, so he could very well be right." Axel was thinking to himself, so he paused a little. "Anyway, he's a stuck-up bitch. Don't waste your time on him."
Sora did get that impression, but he knew there was something different about him. If he was so religious, why did he have a girlfriend? Or was it because his family wanted him to marry her? At first he did not think Riku believed in any god, so it was a shock to find out he was Christian. That also made things harder for him. He would have to find a way to take Riku's innocence.
"You're thinking something deviant, aren't you?" Axel grinned widely and licked his lips. He lifted Sora's chin up with his finger and kissed him briefly, but even that made Sora feel like impaling himself on Axel. The drugs were still in his system.
"Did you really think I needed aphrodisiacs?" Sora asked curiously. "I would have been fine without them."
Axel stammered. "I…worried about Zexion."
"My, you're so protective. Are you sure I'm not going to be your pet?" Sora smiled and slid a hand around Axel's waist. If all went well, he could imagine himself being in a relationship with him.
What was he thinking? Was he just going to forget about Sephiroth? A shudder ran through Sora's body as he remembered the phone call. They still loved each other, but couldn't be together. It was torture.
"Only if you want to be." Axel looked over the other organisation members and inspected the stage. "I think it's time for you to be awakened. Go to the stage and Riku will tell you what to do."
Sora suddenly felt nervous. He couldn't imagine himself having any power at all whatsoever, so he couldn't wrap his mind around it. Everyone was staring at him like he was a fine piece of artwork or something. Marluxia gave him a cheery grin which calmed Sora a little.
"Kneel before me." Was all Riku said when he approached him.
Sora dropped to his knees, trying not to think in any way naughty about it. He looked up at Riku and took in the outline of his face, the translucency of his skin, the cerulean of his beautiful eyes… How could someone be so…good? It was true, he did look ethereal, as if he was god's best creation, but there was darkness in his eyes. Didn't everyone else notice it?
"Close your eyes." Riku ordered stiffly and Sora did so, but faced the floor.
A few long seconds passed before he felt anything, but warmth spread through his body and he felt like he was floating above the ground. Shocks ran through his nerves and an indescribable sensation filled his form. If anything could describe it, he would say that he was feeling everything all at once. The feeling was greater than any orgasm and the pleasure was washing through him in waves. It kept culminating as seconds went by. He knew he was moaning, but he wasn't aware of much else other than the sensation. The shocks increased and it all exploded in one giant climax. His vision went white and he knew no more.
Disorientation was the only thing in his mind. His eyes fluttered open and he noticed that his head was decidedly clear. His head even felt lighter. His whole body was light. It was like he was floating. As he looked around him, he realised that in fact he was.
"This can't be possible. Look at his palm!" It was Larxene. "That's never happened before. He can't have all facets as well."
"What? All facets?" Riku.
Axel was laughing. "So much for only innocents going to heaven, Riku. Maybe you should rethink your theories."
"That has nothing to do with it."
"I think it does. Weren't you always saying that God gave you the power? If God hates sinners, why does Sora have the same power? Last time I checked he was as sinful as they come."
Sora furrowed his eyebrows. That wasn't very nice, even though it was true. He was still confused, even though his mind was clear. He had the same power as Riku? Then he also had the power of All…
"I think we need to consult the elders about this." Marluxia commented. "There seems to be a connection there of some sort."
A connection? What the fuck did that mean? For the first time in what felt like ages, Sora spoke. "What the fuck?"
Sora looked around him. Only a few figures were looking at him. Marluxia, Larxene, Axel and Riku. Riku didn't look happy at all whatsoever. It almost brought a smug smile to Sora's face.
"You've received the power of All. Riku, show him your hand." Marluxia ordered.
Riku didn't complain, but his face showed intense dissatisfaction.
"Now look at your hand."
Sora did so and he saw that there was a multicoloured sphere on both their hands.
Riku growled. "I can't believe this! Why did He choose him?"
"What's so wrong with me Riku?" Sora was getting annoyed. Someone so pretty had such a nasty personality. "Or is it the fact that I've stolen your thunder?"
"Shut up." Riku's eyes were on fire. "You're everything I hate."
Then Sora did something he never thought he would do. He walked up to Riku. "I could be everything you want." He smirked and kissed Riku roughly on the lips, rolling his tongue along Riku's bottom lip and nibbling on it slightly.
Sora knew Riku was too startled to object, so he made the most of it. Riku's lips were the softest he'd ever felt and he melted into them completely.
"Oh my god, I love this kid." Larxene squealed behind them, which was strange even for her.
Sora was violently pushed away. "Don't you dare taint me." Riku said scornfully.
"You're already tainted." Sora brushed himself off. "You're just scared because you enjoyed it. Someone needs to slap some life into you."
Sora turned to look at his audience who were looking back at him with surprise. Obviously they didn't expect him to talk big like that.
"Hehehe…" He giggled and trailed off. He had just insulted their 'leader'.
Axel was looking a little pissed. He must have found Riku to be a competitor.
Marluxia waved it off. " Riku is a bit of a stiff."
"Haha, yeah. I was worried that you wouldn't fit in…but you're one of us now."
Someone had just entered the group. It was also someone Sora hadn't seen much of tonight. Saix.
"We need to proceed. Congratulations Sora, your spirit must be strong." He said monotonously and led him away from the others.
"Where are we going?" Sora asked, wanting to talk to Riku more about his so-called beliefs, but he knew not to mess with Saix. Sora was surprised that Saix didn't have a higher rank to go with his stoic and aloof attitude, and now that he thought about it, he thought that Riku would have a higher rank too.
If maturity was in the mix though, he understood. Marluxia was a bit older than the rest, and had that mature composure that came with age. Larxene was a predator at heart, but she had the same composure. He didn't know anything about Xemnas yet; he gave nothing away.
"Surely you didn't think I wouldn't have a go, too? I have to test that fiery demeanour of yours that everyone seems to like, and give Axel a reality check. If he's going to go down this road again, you'll do what Roxas did. You'll fall in love with him and want out."
Saix was surprisingly frank for someone so quiet. He liked that. "I'm not going to."
"I saw the look in your eyes, and Namine has seen differently." Saix said directly, a stone cold look on his face. The scars between his eyes were quite menacing. "It seems hard to believe now, but Namine never lies."
"I see. Well, thanks for your advice, but Axel isn't my type." He could very well become Sora's type though…
Saix smirked. "That's not the problem. You're his type."
"Oh." Sora smiled and felt at ease, even though he was going to submit himself to the ache that was still within him.
Sora didn't enjoy sex with Saix as much as he thought he would. Saix was fairly lifeless compared to Zexion; it felt more like a chore than what sex was meant to be like, but the drugs were still in his system so he still craved release of some sort. Axel was pleased to see him afterwards, and spoke briefly about what was to come.
"Xemnas has decided that he wants you for the rest of the night." Axel placed his arm over Sora's shoulder. "I think it has something to do with your power."
"Oh." Sora looked down. He was still quite sore and was finding it hard to walk. "But I don't know how to use it…"
"He'll show you. That's where he comes into everything. Riku may have the power to awaken, but Xemnas is the one that allows you to use it. Do you understand?" Axel smiled that cute smile of his.
There was so much running through his head at that time; he didn't know what to keep and discard. "Yeah."
"Anyway, you'll see soon enough." Axel guided Sora back into the main area, where everyone started staring at him once again. "I guess they've all heard about your power."
"Hey, my little lion." Larxene suddenly appeared at his side and ruffled Sora's already messy hair. "Is everything okay?"
"Hey! Since when have you been so…caring?" Axel frowned and stared possessively at her. "What's wrong with you?"
Larxene smiled and pulled Sora savagely away from Axel. "Regardless of the fact that I'm a self-confessed bitch, I'm still a woman, Axel. I am getting to that age."
Axel raised an eyebrow. "What age?"
"The maternal age." She said uncharacteristically, which sent Axel into a fit of hysterics.
"You?! Maternal?! Ha!"
"Shut up Axel…" Larxene pulled Sora away. "I can get you kicked out, you know. No more fucking, no more seducing little boys, no more-"
"-Alright, alright. I'm sorry for believing you incapable of having babies." Axel muttered.
Larxene smirked self-righteously. "Worried I'd kill 'em? Yeah, me too."
Sora got a small chill down his spine from those words. The sadistic look on her face only added to it.
"Sora."
All of a sudden everyone was quiet. It was like a vacuum was sucking out the life in the room as he turned his eyes to greet mandarin coloured orbs. He couldn't help but feel that everything else was tuned out automatically. All he could see was the leader of the organisation seemingly pulling all the information out of his brain and shuffling it around. But it didn't feel like Xemnas; the person was a female.
"Namine has examined you; I hope you don't mind." Xemnas' smooth and masculine voice was almost intoxicating. "Everything seems to be fine, though. I think she likes you."
Sora looked down to her. She was standing obediently beside him, never faltering or showing any emotion. Sora wondered what benefit Namine had out of this relationship.
"Shall we talk?" Xemnas cocked his head and took Sora's hand.
Sora didn't even think about objecting or thinking. His mind was almost completely empty. Xemnas had this feel to him…a feeling of emptiness. He was taken to what looked like a nicely done up office, complete with solid wood furniture and those green lamps you always see in flash libraries and legal offices.
"This is quite a conundrum; the fact that you have the same power as Riku." Xemnas seated himself in the large leather chair behind the desk and indicated for Sora to sit down opposite. "This has never happened before. I'm the oldest person in the organisation, so you would think that I would know about this, but I don't. Even Namine has no clue. She's like a door. Sometimes she's open, sometimes she's closed. Her gift comes and goes."
"I see." Sora noticed that Namine was dutifully standing at the door like a doll. "What about her sister?"
"She hasn't received the gift. Normally the power runs through the old rich families, but she missed out for some reason. That is why she is exempt from the organisation. Anyway, this is not about her. This is about you and Riku."
"What about us?" Sora still didn't understand the powers, so he was pretty much nonplussed about everything.
Xemnas sat stiffly in his chair. "Most of us can read energies, and you will too once you get adjusted to your power. When Riku was awakening you, the light bound you two together. Normally light is transferred from Riku to the person, but it looked like you exchanged energy. Do you understand?"
Sora laughed a little. "Not particularly. I mean, I understand the concept, but I find it hard to believe that I have power."
"Of course you do. It's not until you do something with your power that you believe." Xemnas narrowed his eyes. "I didn't either. Back when I was your age, I was an anomaly too. Everyone had physical elements. I had the opposite. I have the power of nothing, of anti-matter. I can make things disappear to another dimension and come back at will. However now we have Zexion and Namine in the group with non-physical powers."
Sora now understood why Xemnas was the leader. "Isn't that dangerous? The whole anti-matter thing?"
"Our powers are bound by rules created by the ancients. For example, if something is banished to another dimension, I have to bring it back within a day. But I don't fully understand it either. What is the other dimension? Where is it? I don't know, but know this. All the powers are recycled. Someone leaves the organisation, and almost always the next person that enters the organisation receives that power. When we leave, we lose our powers." It sounded like this was a speech that Xemnas had said many times. "When I leave, I'll lose my powers. That also creates problems. People who have grown too attached to their power don't want to leave, so they're forced out."
Sora let himself think for a moment. "Then why didn't I receive Roxas' power?"
"Yes, I thought that too. I don't know, and that's startling for someone like me. Anyhow, I'm sure the answers will be revealed in time. It's time for me to unlock your powers. You see, before me, the leader of the group was chosen and an ancient staff of anti-matter was inherited. I am the staff, now. One must be exposed to anti matter for creation of matter to occur."
Xemnas cupped his hands together and drew them apart, creating a small dark sphere. "Now, place the palm with your rune onto the sphere. Try not to get sucked in, and linger only long enough to reach the light."
Sora stared at the sphere, which was now hovering on its own and slightly sucking in the matter around it. Everything was so bewildering, but he was curious about it all. It was worth a shot. He placed his hand tentatively on the sphere and felt himself move into a different world. A world that was dark, had no feelable temperature and no sense of depth. The only thing he could see was a small speck of light, so he moved towards it, finding himself to struggle along the way. Whatever was behind him was sucking him back into nothingness, but he kept moving, the light getting larger and larger. He felt himself getting hollow, but he knew he had to keep moving. It seemed that the light was only a few metres away, so he pressed on and reached it with ease.
He found himself in the chair across from Zemnas, with an indescribable feeling coursing through his body.
"Good. Now I want you to summon fire." Zemnas peered at him through his long eyelashes. "Imagine that you want to summon fire in the palm of your hand. Control your thoughts, and the fire will be controlled. If it goes awry, then concentrate on quashing it. It all involves your thoughts, and practise makes perfect."
Sora nodded, still not fully believing that he could do this. He had seen Axel do it, as well as both Riku's and Xemnas' powers, so he knew it could happen. He just didn't believe in it. So he held out his hand and closed his eyes, imagining a small flame in his palm.
"Open your eyes and keep concentrating."
Sora did and smiled with wonder as he watched the small flame flicker in his hand. It was no bigger than one from a match, but the mere creation of it excited him.
Xemnas watched with interest. "Well done. Now try to turn it into a block of ice, then water."
The younger boy concentrated while keeping his eyes open, and saw that as he imagined the flame turning into a block of ice, it happened in the palm of his hand. The same happened with water. However, he felt himself become slightly lethargic as time went on.
"That's pretty good for your first time, but you should stop now. Your energy is weakening. The more you practise it though, the stronger you'll become."
Sora was still pretty much baffled by what had just happened, but he was ecstatically happy for some reason. He didn't feel powerless for the first time in his life.
"Anyway, it's time for you to go back. It's now 3 in the morning." Xemnas smiled for the first time that evening. "You're now initiated. Try not to believe all that you hear about us. We're really a friendly group. If you don't feel like participating in the…extra activities, that's fine with me, although I think most of them will be sorely disappointed."
Sora blushed a little at the compliment and adjusted his cloak. "Thanks."
So he left the room, wanting to play with his powers a little more, but feeling the effects of the evening. He had forgotten about the pain between his legs and the aphrodisiac had worn off, leaving him feeling like he hadn't slept in years.
"Hey!" Axel ran up to him when he reached the main area. "Show everyone your moves!"
Everyone was gathered around in a U shape, waiting for him to display his new powers. Riku was behind Marluxia, looking a little sour.
Sora smiled shyly (which wasn't usually like him) and held out his palm. He imagined a flame, then a block of ice, then a globe of water, then a little lightning spark to finish off.
Riku didn't look happy at all when every body cheered, which only made Sora happier. It was time to bring this princess down, but not right now. He was starting to lose focus as his body became heavier.
"Axel…" He sighed as he fell, only to feel strong arms around his waist.
"It's alright. I'm here. Shall we go back?"
Sora smiled at the warm arms that he knew belonged to Axel. "Yeah."
