Hey guys, sorry about missing my deadlines. Went up to my grandmothers for Christmas for the whole week and if that wasn't enough for almost a week beforehand we couldn't pay the internet bill so we had no internet. So, as reparation to, in a way, punish myself and reward you all for your patience I am releasing two chapters of Darkness Falls and one of Flaming Leaves today, and vice versa Friday. As for people whom have asked why I put such a big time between Darkness Falls and Flaming Leaves for updates us because of one fact, I literally am still writing, yes ironic, but on paper writing out Flaming Leaves. Darkness Falls is written all the way to its second part Darkness Rises. Anyway, to address a couple of things;
No I won't be continuing Flaming Leaves Original. That story took a turn for being too upbeat and not serious enough. Also it kind of took a turn after they went on wave. I was inconsistent dreadfully with details, and really? Magatami taught to Sasuke? The fuck was I thinking.
Minato is alive for a reason but he will pass away by Shippudden but I won't say anything more.
I am trying to be more detailed with combat, sorry if it seems too boring.
I am trying to incorporate real Jutsu. As for Naruto's chakra bow, that is a secret Jutsu of Zarehya's that she taught him. His real bow is a short bow not a longbow. For a visualization its body is made of Willow, it has carvings in it of Chinese charms for Luck, Visualization, Health, and Silence. It fire's steel serrated arrows, normal iron tipped arrows, and a special poisoned arrow. The poison is an Iron based Neurotoxin, it focuses on the nerves along the spine and the iron makes it heavy and hard hitting. These are used only twice in this story, however they have their purpose. Anyone who knows toxins can probably imagine what it is going to be used for ;).
Alright, well onto the part you all have been waiting for. Let us continue onto the story!

Naruto let his arms come back to his side breaking the hug from his mother. He looked on as she took a step back and wiped her tearful eyes with her hands.
"Yeah, it's time you know the truth. Hiruzen has no doubt told you of the attack on your birth site correct?" Naruto shook his head.
"I only learned the day before I came here that you were my father, no one told me anything. I always grew up thinking I was an orphan and that my parents had died during the Kyuubi's assault on Konoha." Kushina had an aura of anger around her, her hair splitting into nine parts as they raised bushing. Her eyes started to blink back and forth between their calm loving violet and their hate filled and anger induced red silted forms. A killing intent that almost matched the Kyuubi washed over the mindscape putting the fear of God into Naruto and Kurama. Then Kushina spoke in that tone mothers do that terrifies your soul. Softly, almost calm, but filled with promises of pain.
"Sarutobi, you bastard, if I find a way to get a hold of you I will tear you apart piece by goddamned piece. I promise you this." A stern hand places itself on her shoulder and Minato smiles softly looking into her eyes. In this moment the killing intent that had been so oppressive vanished as if never being there, her hair formed back into its singular wave down her back, her eyes back to their loving violet. She smiled softly and kicked at the floor embarrassed.
"You always know how to calm me Minato, dontcha'know." Minato kissed her cheek and stood before Naruto, he motioned for him to sit upon the floor. They both sat and Minato laid his hands in his lap hands clasped together.
"It is time, the first thing you need to know is we died protecting Konoha, but more importantly Naruto, we died to save you." Minato waved his hands around them and a seal matrix formed in a circle around them. The mindscape altered and appeared as if watching a television show.
"This is the night of your birth Naruto. We are seeing this from my eyes." They looked to the screen and seemingly were pulled in.

Minato smiled down to his wife kissing her clasped hand. She let out another scream and he felt the Kyuubi's chakra flare but it never broke the seal.
"One more push Kushina." Minato smiled softly looking into her eyes and with a final roar of pain all went quiet and a cry was heard. Minato looked to Biwako and saw her holding a baby in a cloth she wrapped him in. She handed him to Minato whom took him and laid him next to Kushina.
"He's so gorgeous Kushina, he has your nose." She barely managed a chuckle but she gently brushed his cheek.
"Maybe, but he looks like you, I mean god look at that platinum hair. Just like his daddy dontcha'know." Minato smiled softly but an ANBU flew into the room and skidded along the floor. Minato immediately stood and summoned a Kunai to his hand. A man walked through the door covered in blood, he simply waved at Minato. Minato sighed.
"Goddamnit Kakashi, you scared the living hell out of me. What happened?" Kakashi rubbed the back of his head stepping into the room.
"Ma, some weird white and green haired men came into the room, but there were two normal looking men as well. I took care of them but one of the green haired men went inside of the ANBU's body and the ANBU started attacking me." Minato nodded and he walked to the door to peak out and check everything. It was exactly as Kakashi said, a lot of green haired bodies and a few dead ANBU.
"MINATO!" Minato spun around seeing Kakashi on the ground with a piece of wood through his shoulder as it wrapped around his form and kept him in place. He saw a cloaked and masked man holding Naruto a kunai to his throat.
"Ah, ah, Minato, move and the child dies before he can live." Minato grit his teeth, the figure moved and threw Naruto at Minato whom quickly caught him. However he heard burning and saw Naruto's swaddling cloth covered in explosive tags. He quickly ripped it off and threw it out the window; he vanished to the other side of the complex and felt the explosion rock the building to its core. Minato immediately flashed back into the room where Kushina and Kakashi were. HE stopped in place seeing Kushina gone, he gently laid Naruto in the bed and he freed Kakashi from his bonds.
"I'm going after her, Kakashi watch Naruto; keep him safe till I return." Kakashi stood and nodded, sitting down and bandaging his aching wound.
"You know I will watch him Sensei." Minato nodded and flashed to Kushina's location. HE saw her laying on the ground the Kyuubi standing above her. He immediately grabbed her and right before they were struck with the giant paw of the Kyuubi he flashed back to the birthing room. He saw Kakashi had finished bandaging his arm and he laid Kushina next to Naruto. The weak and dying woman held her son close as he opened his eyes to look into her own.
"My little Naruto, I am so sorry this happened. Mommy loves you." Minato feeling an unbridled rage he put his cloak on and Kakashi saw the stern look that promised death and suffering. He knew the Yellow Flash had returned to Konoha.
"Kakashi, I am going to flash you to the village inside of the Hokage tower. Get Lord Third and my teacher if he is in town. Warn them but warn people to get to the evacuation points, the Kyuubi's attack is imminent." Minato laid a hand on Kakashi's forehead and Kakashi nodded.
"It will be done Sensei; I will await your return to the village when my orders are fulfilled." Kakashi vanished in a golden flash and Minato turned to his wife and he summoned another kunai now holding one in each hand. Kushina looked up at him and nodded.
"Make him suffer." Minato vanished with a golden flash. He appeared atop the Hokage Monument and he looked to see Lord Third fighting the Kyuubi, Minato knew Konoha was in capable hands. He saw the Kyuubi summoning a Tailed-Beast Ball and he used one of the Kunai to perform a teleportation seal to send the Ball away. He felt a tug on his chakra and turned to see the masked man, however he was too slow and Minato flashed to the training area where he trained his students. Minato watched the masked man come out of the seal. He smirked as the man recoiled in shock; he was trapped inside of a time space seal, one of his sensei's specialties.
"Not here we won't." With a flash the two were gone and appeared outside of Konoha.
"How?!" Minato smirked and assumed a stance; one arm out with the blade pointed downwards, the other pulled in a front grip next to his ribs.
"Like I would tell you!" With a roar Minato vanished, not in a golden flash, but with nothing to show he was ever there. Obito immediately went to perform Kamui but he felt a pain in his kidney and saw his sensei's kunai buried to the hilt.
"You made three mistakes tonight." Minato ripped the Kunai out, Obito went for a right hook, when Minato felt it touching his skin he spun with the blow bringing his leg up he hooked it around Obito's neck bringing the boy to the ground.
"One, you attacked my village." Obito vanished with his Kamui, he appeared on the opposite side of the field from Minato, but Minato appeared in front of him punching him with his left hand in the gut, the reverse gripped blade slicing into the flesh of his body.
"Two, you threatened my student." Obito looked up and he grabbed Minato's shoulder, but he saw no pity, he saw no humor as if he was enjoying this. Where, where did Minato get this power from! This was another level than even he saw. He vanished again trying to get away he appeared in the room with Kushina making a move to grab the woman. He never got the chance, Minato appeared and with one cohesive movement he brought his left arm back in a spin slicing into Obito's flesh, he angled the arm downward bringing his leg down slamming Obito into the ground and his right hand came around piercing the blade into Obito's neck. Minato leaned down to his dying opponent and whispered into his ear.
"Three, you threatened my family," Minato twisted the blade, "and for these transgressions, you shall die here. You will not be buried; you will not be remembered or given a memorial. You will be lost to the sands of time." Minato ripped the blade out of Obito's neck. He looked down at the man and put his foot on the man's neck.
"For being who you are, Obito, I give you peace." He pushed his foot down and snapped the boy's neck. Obito had died. Minato looked at Kushina and sat in the chair exhausted as he closed the four chakra gates he opened. He smiled as he saw her holding Naruto to her chest, he sighed as he stood but he stumbled slightly.
"Heh, still not used to them. Kushina we have to go now." Kushina nodded and started to sit up but didn't have the energy; Minato caught her and lifted her into his arms. He smiled softly to her.
"We can seal it into my body; I will take it to the grave with me. Don't look at me like that Mina, we both know with the Kyuubi's unsealing I am going to die." Minato nodded but he felt someone in the room. He placed Kushina back down as he felt the Kyuubi's chakra appear a mile from here. He threw a kunai into the corner of the room but a black covered hand caught it by its hilt.
"Taichou?! What are you doing here?" Taichou chuckled as he pointed at Obito's body.
"I was here for him, my organization was hunting his. We have eliminated every member except him. I thank you for eliminating him, but I will have to ask you to come with me now." Minato growled as he saw four figures cloaked in black come from the shadow behind Taichou. Minato drew his Kunais and his hand touching Kushina he flashed out of the room. Appearing before the Kyuubi, Minato using a kick deflected his claw about twenty feet to the left. Kushina sprouted her chains and bound the Kyuubi. Minato seeing the Kyuubi crack the chains and send his nail towards Naruto jumped in front of it, Kushina being the dying one, was slower but jumped in front of it as well. Kushina's chains tightened.
"You idiot, I'm dying anyway dontcha'know! You should have just let me do this, now he won't have anyone." Minato coughs up blood but he smiles softly sweating.
"I'm his dad; it's my job to protect him." He leans forward laying his forehead against the back of Kushina's neck. She goes to perform some hand seals but discovers she doesn't have the energy. Minato takes her hands in his and the two using both of their remaining chakra perform the Dead Consuming Seal. The Shinigami appears before the two parents. Minato looks to it and it tears its arm through Minato and Kushina, it's arm snakes through Naruto and dives into the Kyuubi. It tears the Kyuubi's soul in half, half of it going into Naruto, half retreating into Kushina, Minato smiles softly feeling the strength quickly leaving him but he saw his seal forming onto Naruto's abdomen. Minato starts to hear Kushina speaking to Naruto, her last words till they are reunited when Naruto goes to take control of the Kyuubi. Minato using his finger takes some of his blood and makes a seal on Kushina's body. He takes a scroll, kunai, and a locket from his pocket. Kushina gives him her hair clip, both of their rings, and a special object to her, her diary. Minato takes the objects and seal them into her neck.
"This seal will release when your body has decomposed my love, the items will be transferred to the casket in the seal and will await him opening it to retrieve them. Now Naruto, listen to your motor mouth mom, she knows what she is saying." Minato see's her let one tear fall and see's her go limp. He cries into her shoulder his sobs wracking his body, he lets out a wail matching Naruto's in intensity and he falls, his vision fading. This is how Minato died.

The three appear back in Naruto's mindscape. He immediately clung to his parents and Kushina wept in his embrace, Minato smiled sadly and hugged him tight. He felt a weird pull in his stomach.
"Kushina, something is wrong. Something is summoning me, but I'm supposed to be dead!" Naruto shook his head.
"No, some man I met in wave named Taichou said he had you captive. I will come and get you dad, I swear on my life." Minato smiled sadly but before he could say anything he was torn from Naruto's mindscape. Kushina sadly saw her husband leave but she held Naruto close. Naruto smiled softly as he heard her hum a soft tune. For hours the two talked, about their lives, their friends, and Minato. In the end Kushina cupped Naruto's cheek in her hand and she smiled softly.
"I am so proud of you Naruto. You have found your love; you have found your hope. Hold onto those, and whatever you do don't let them go. I love you, now and always Naru." Naruto hugged her tightly and kissed her cheek.
"I love you to mom, believe it." She smiled softly.
"It's time for me to go, but remember what I said, and retrieve those items, they will tell you all about us! I love you dontcha'know!" Her form glowed white and vanished. Naruto found himself in front of Kurama's cage and he wiped his eyes. He turned to his friend and he walked to the cage.
"You ready partner?" Kurama smiled widely and his eyes promised pain to all of those who hurt his container.
"Yes, let us go, Naruto." Naruto ripped the seal off and he vanished from his mindscape.
