Hey my Dark Fallians! I know it has been a while but hey I bring good tidings of 5 chapters, that's right count em 5! Anyway, well be picking up the Chunin Exams today the main focus of the Chunin exams is a part of it per chapter ie: chapter 1 will be meeting gaara and first exam, second will be second exam, third will be prelim, fourth will be finals, and fifth, well, you will just have to see. Alrighty, let's get to it.

Naruto stretched getting out of bed, scratching his back he looked around and he freaked the fuck out. All around his room were ten ANBU black ops members all sitting around for no reason. Naruto looked at the two in the corner doing some sort of patty cake, four playing cards, and the last four arm wrestling.
"Oi, what the fuck are you doing in my apartment? Never mind that, HOW did you get into my apartment?" The Anbu all looked at Naruto and stood slowly, they marched forward encroaching on his personal space and forced him to climb onto the bed.
"Taichou told us about you, if you hurt her they will never find your body." In a puff of smoke the ten ANBU members vanished without a trace. A knock wrapped on his door, he threw on some sweat pants and answered the door, and much to his surprise it was Yugao.
"Hey Miss Yugao, please come in, I just woke up to a strange occurrence but I think it wont be that bad anymore." Yugao smiled and walked into the apartment, she sat down on the couch and smiled to him.
"Today is a big day, Kakashi has vouched for you and your team to enter the Chunin Exams, they start today at one o'clock sharp, he will probably tell you about it before hand. This won't be easy, so stay safe, ok?" Naruto nodded, Yugao pulled out a box and laid it on the table top for him.
"I got you something, to wish you luck." Naruto opened the box and pulled out a simple grey ANBU body armor chest plate. The only difference between this one and the others is the large Uzumaki spiral on the back and the small one above the heart in the front.
"This was your mothers when she led my squad, I figured it was only right for you to have it, and don't worry about breast indents, all of the armors are androgynous. If you pass the first exam I will give you the grieves, if you make it through the second exam I will give you her bracers, and if you make it through the finals, I will give you her ninjato. I just feel they belong more to you than me." Naruto smiled softly brushing the muted metal and he hugged Yugao tightly.
"Thank you, Yugao-san." Yugao smiled hugging him back, she stroked the back of his head softly.
"Call me sis, I thought of Kushina like a mom and I wanted to be there to help raise you." Naruto nodded and took the Armor plate, he looked inside and out of it and noted it was a bit large for him but in time he would grow into it.
"Thank you again, sis." Yugao smiled and waved a hand under her nose.
"If you want to thank me take a shower, you reek." Naruto frowned and waved his hand at her.
"Whatever, anyway, I should be getting ready to go, we will be meeting Kakashi at the bridge today at nine."
"You know that means you should be there at eleven or twelve right?" Naruto chuckled.
"He asked for us to be there at seven today, so nine should do it." Yugao nodded and made her way to leave.
"Good luck, little brother." Naruto gives her a mock salute and heads to his room.

"Where the hell is he?!" Sakura growled out, Kakashi was here at seven, Sasuke at eight and her at nine but Naruto was nowhere to be seen. Sasuke scoffed as he pointed down the road, Sakura turned and got a confused look on her face. It was Naruto alright, but he was different, he had his patented long sleeve black shirt on, his black Shinobi pants, his black sandles all taped down, but it wasn't this that confused her. It was the weird chest piece he was wearing, a dull muted grey in color with a symbol over the heart.
"Naruto, where did you get that chest piece?" Naruto looked at Kakashi in the eyes and saw shock.
"An ANBU agent gave it to me, said that it is my responsibility. She promised me the other pieces if I complete each part of the exams. Seems I will just have to complete the exams, eh?" Kakashi nodded and motioned for him to come over.
"Where the fuck were you, Naruto!" Naruto dug in his ear and flicked the wax onto her dress.
"I was lost on the path of life." Kakashi gave him a thumbs up which was returned and Sakura growled.
"Alright my cute little students, today I asked you three to be here early because of one thing. The Chunin selection exams are here. I vouched for your readiness, so I expect to see you there. Now, I already signed and sent in the vouchers, you just need to enter the Academy's room 301 with these passes." Kakashi handed out three plastic cards with numbers on them.
"To the instructors you are these numbers, not Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura. Let's get one thing straight before you leave, there is a real chance you will die before the end of the second exam. Watch your backs, fight as a team, and for gods sake Naruto don't go pissing randomly during the middle of an altercation." Naruto started to whistle before he saw Sasuke and Sakura dismissed. Naruto turned to Kakashi and sighed.
"So, how is it going trying to control what he left behind?" Naruto grimaced and he manipulated a shadow down his arm.
"Not good, I can't control them as well it is almost as if I lost everything I trained hard for all these years. However progress is progress right?" Kakashi nodded, they turned hearing footsteps and saw Konohamaru's friends running towards them.
"Jonin! I need help, someone is beating up Konohamaru!" Kakashi pointed at Naruto who fell in line with them.
"Take me there, I can help." The two kids nodded and started running, when they arrived they saw a black suited teen and a blonde woman. Naruto immediately threw three shuriken, the first bounced off the second which ricochet the third right onto Kankuro's puppet.
"What the fuck?" KAnkuro turned around looking for who threw the shuriken, in the meantime Naruto appeared in front of Kankuro and pulled back his fist. Kankuro turned back to the front and everything went black for him. The woman started to pull out her fan but found herself in an arm lock courtesy of Sakura.
"Saw you running with some kids, figured you could use a hand." The blonde struggled but Sakura just yanked a little on Temari's arm and she cried out in pain from the hold.
"KAnkuro, Temari, you are a disgrace to the village hidden in the sands. I apologize for their conduct leaf ninja." They looked to the tree and saw Gaara standing there, he hopped down to the ground and grabbed both of the ninja by their necks and yanked them dragging their bodies behind him.
"We shall go, I hope this matter wont be blown out of proportion." Naruto grimaced.
"I don't know, will it? Mr.?" Gaara turned and looked Naruto in the eye.
"Gaara of the Sands." Naruto nodded and he picked Konohamaru up and went to leave.
"Mother will taste your blood." Naruto grimaced once again and took off with Sakura in tow.

Naruto stood outside the Academy building flanked by Sasuke and Sakura, he was wondering where Kurotsuchi took off to so early in the morning today, but he shouldn't dwell on it. The three entered the building and started up the stairs, on the second floor they saw a bunch of kids gathering but bypassed them. When they arrived at 301 they opened the door walking into it. The classroom was filled with kids, teens, and some adults. Naruto turned to the left hearing his name called.
"Kuro?!" Naruto ran over very confused.
"What are you doing here?" She smiled like a fox.
"What did you think I've been doing while you were gone? I'm still a ninja remember?" Naruto chuckled but nodded. He looked to her teammates, a very pale boy and an Aburame he had never seen before.
"You two look after her, got it?" The pale boy nodded and the Aburame just stood there.
"Naruto, don't worry, just go with your team, mine will make it, you better be sure yours does too. After all both our grandfathers will be at the finals, we don't want to disappoint do we?" Naruto shook his head and pecked her cheek. When he rejoined his team he felt movement rapidly approaching the silver haired boy. Naruto lashed out with a low right kick and the figure went flying through the furthest wall, the other two convened on him and with a simple flip he took the both out with his legs. Naruto sat in a crouch on top of the male's body.
"Why would you want to hurt four-eyes over there? Did he bad mouth your mother or something?" The boy snarled at Naruto and he raised his hand, Naruto saw the tube in his palm and sigh.
"You might want to stop that."
"Oh, and why is that?"
"Because there is a very scary man with a trench coat behind you, and you never want to piss of a man with a trench coat." Zaku looked back and saw a scarred man with a bandana and a long black trench coat.
"Off Uzumaki." Naruto got off of Zaku and walked back to his team.
"Alright maggots, get to your desk before I kill the lot of ya!" All of the students scrambled to their desks to avoid incurring Ibiki's wrath.
"Alright now that you are seated at your desks you will be handed a packet of questions. You have one hour to fill the packet out. The tenth and final question will be delivered at the end of the hour. If caught cheating three times we will expel you from this exam and from the Shinobi system, and do not think we can't. You should have read the papers to begin with. Now, BEGIN!" All of the Shinobi and Kunoichi went to work trying their hardest to fill out the packet. Naruto sighed deeply and banged his head on the table, he saw Hinata was next to him, and the sand woman from before. Naruto using his peripherals could see Hinata using her Byakugan to cheat and the sand woman was getting info in the form of sand guiding her hand. Naruto cursed before he finally realized, he had two people with answers next to him! Naruto coughed loudly masking the pebble he sent into the light switch turning the lights off. Naruto swapped his paper with the sand woman and sat there patiently. He could feel the woman seething at his actions but whatever, he got his test. At the end of the hour sixty of the sixty-eight teams had failed.
"Alright, listen up you maggots, there are eight teams left here. I will tell you the rules of the tenth question before you make your choice. If you decide to take this question and you fail? You will die by my proctors hands. You can choose to take this question or not, it does not matter to me. Now, for those of you who feel they are unable to take this question, the door is to your right." All of the Genin had resolved themselves to stay.
"Good, you eighteen pass, let this be a lesson. All missions will be life and death, there are no exceptions, but what matters is the mission." Ibiki removed his skullcap and showed the students his burns, puncture marks, and long scars. Many of the weaker Genin reeled from the view, but Naruto narrowed his eyes, he knew this man had to have endured an unspeakable pain. Ibiki went to speak but a crash through the window drug everyone's attention off of Ibiki.
"Damn Ibiki, you left so few. I might have to revise my test!" Ibiki sighed frustratedly giving a glare of promising pain to the woman.
"You're early again Anko." The woman waved her hand at him.
"Whatever Ibiki, anyway, all of those who passed, follow me to the next training area. IF you are late you fail, if you try to sabotage any of the other students on the way, you fail. If you even think of fighting before we arrive, you fail! Now move maggots!" The Genin stood and rushed out the window after Anko trailing her towards their next destination.
