Chapter 16~The Album is Done

A month had gone by when we finally finished the album. We spent two weeks none stop figuring out what songs I was going to sing that were by other artists. And that was after one week straight of working on the song that I wrote. The rest of that time I spent catching up on sleep, and then we started recording. There were a total of ten songs on the album. The one I wrote which is called Falling Slowly, Sing for Me by Yellowcard, My Immortal by Evanescence, Silver and Cold by AFI, Radioactive by Imagine Dragons, Riot by Three Days Grace, Decode by Paramour, Feel Again by One Republic, Killing Lights by AFI, and Harder to Breath by Maroon 5. We decided to name the album One Heartbeat at a Time. For the album cover we decided to do my face without any make-up. When Rose and I were finally done we headed back to the house. She was going to spend some time with Emmett and I was going to eat some food and take a long nap. I had been fueled on energy drinks most of the time. The only time I wasn't was during the time we were recording. After that when we started working with the mixer board I went back to it. There were a few times were Rosalie made me take a nap. We hadn't come out of the studio for a couple weeks.
The first thing that happened when we came inside was Danni and my dad lifting me up on their shoulders and congratulating me. After the cheering I ate a sandwich and then went up to my room for a hard earned nap. When I woke up, a whole day had passed. I got up and stumbled down the stairs to the kitchen where my mom was waiting. She helped me sit down then fixed me and egg sandwich and some oat meal. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. When I realized I wasn't wearing my gloves I hid my left hand under the table to hide the crest. My mom put the food in front of me then left the room, when she came back she gave me my gloves.
"Thanks Mom, I guess I forgot about them."
"Don't worry about it, you're still pretty tired." She said rubbing my already messed up hair. I inhaled my food then went and took a shower. I decided that I wanted to sing the song I created. But when I tried it came out raspy, so I decided not to. I finished my shower and wrapped a towel around my body. Then I grabbed my comb and combed out all the knots. Then I got dressed in a tight black t-shirt, black skinny jeans, and black short socks. I braided my hair and tied it at the end with a black ponytail that had a black and white gem columbine. I ran downstairs and jumped at seven steps. It must have been because I was still tired, but I tripped when I landed and fell. I felt warm hands catch me and straiten me back up. I came face to face with Seth. I backed away and went to go find Danni, but he caught my wrist.
"Let go Seth." I said
"No, I need to tell you right now. I can't take this anymore." He said. I pulled my hand from his grasp then ran to the kitchen where luckily I found Danni eating a cheese pizza. I grabbed a slice and nibbled.
"Hey Danni, do you want to hang out today?" I asked then I added. Please say yes, I need to get out of here. Plus I want to run with you some more.
Why do you need to get out of here? He thought eating
I need to get away from Seth.
"Sure, we can hang out. It's been a while since we've talked anyway." We sat down at the counter and finished our pizza slices. Then we ran outside and took off into the woods. I didn't use my power and he didn't go wolf. After a while we stopped in the clearing we normally raced to. We sat there and talked for what seemed like minutes. Before we knew it the sun was setting. We decided to head back to the house for dinner. After dinned I headed back to my room to go to sleep. I switched to my pajamas and crawled into bed. I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in." I mumbled. I heard the door open and close. I felt someone sit next to me. I flipped over and opened my eyes to see Seth sitting there looking at me. "Go away, I'm trying to sleep…" I said quietly.
"You know as well as I do that you don't want me gone." He whispered in my ear. It sent chills down my spine, and I hated it.
"You're wrong…" I whispered back. "You left without saying a word, you broke your promise and you crushed me." I rolled out of bed and ran to my bathroom, but Seth caught my hand. It was my left, luckily he was covering up the crest.
"Don't run away again, Ivy."
"Let me go…" I said. He didn't. I grabbed my gloves with my right hand that ripped my left out of his hand and ran into the bathroom. I locked the door behind me. I pulled on my gloves and activated my power, I opened the window and jumped out. I was still in the t-shirt I was wearing earlier and pajama pants. I ran into the woods, but before I did I created a note to my mom that only she would be able to see. When I was far enough away I teleported to the clearing. I sat on the rock that Daniel and I talked on. I sealed my power and laid down. I closed my eyes and cried. I felt some one pick me up and threw me against a tree. I felt a hand enclose around my throat cutting off my wind supply. I opened my eyes and saw magenta orbs boring into my grey ones.
"Well, if it isn't my little flower." She said. I closed my eyes and activated my power. Then I teleported from her grasp. Danni! I can't talk too much. I left a message for mom about where I was, please help! Crazy vampire's back! I focused on the vampire. I teleported into a tree and sat there.
"Why, you do smell good. You see, I get these male followers, they help me hunt people down my victims. If they get caught, I move on. I've smelled someone as good as you were once before. I think her name was Crystal." She turned and looked where I was hiding. I heard paws hitting the ground, I jumped down and charged. I jumped over her head when she tried to catch me I saw the Cullen's, my mom in her siren form, and four wolves. I miss calculated by one centimeter, and she grabbed my arm and slammed me on to the ground. She held my left arm in her strong hands. I tried to yank my arm out but she had an iron grip. When she pulled my arm up to her mouth I began to struggle more.
"Now, now. Don't worry it will be over before you know it." Then she sank her fangs into my arm.
