When Rose and I reached New York City and headed out to the area where people wait for you I got my first look at paparazzi. Everywhere I looked I saw a flash of a camera. Rose stepped in front me and led me through the crowd of fans and paparazzi. She found a limo driver with a sign that said 'Call' on it. He led us out side and to a limo that was parked by the door. The driver opened the door for me and I crawled in with Rosalie right behind me. The driver took our things and put them in the trunk. Then he climbed in and drove off. When we arrived at the hotel there were more paparazzi. Rosalie led me through the crowd with the driver and our stuff right behind us. The driver passed our luggage off to a bellhop who led us to an elevator and up to a room. We were on the top floor and at the end of the hallway. When our things were set down and we were left alone I sat down at the edge of one of the beds and put my head in my hands. Rosalie sat next to me and wrapped her arm around me, than she gave a little squeeze.
"I'm sorry I didn't warn you. I should have told you about the paparazzi. But don't worry. I may be your publisher but if I need to I'll be your body guard. I won't let anyone hurt you. And don't worry, you can ask the guards who'll be at the concert to keep paparazzi out."
"Thanks Rose…it's just that I'm so new to this, I mean we just started selling the album a week ago. I'm used to perverts staring but this takes it to a new level." I said quietly.
"Don't worry, if you want we can rent a body guard. I may be a vampire but I can only go so far to protect you without exposing myself."
"I know…it's the same thing for me. But anyway, I'm hungry. What are we going to do for dinner?" I asked as my stomach growled.
"Well, let's order Chinese. I can't exactly eat but I still like the smell." She said smiling
"Ok."
"Now go get into your pajamas and get washed up. I'll call and order and I can also see what movies they have." She said. I nodded and went to my suit case. I grabbed my pajamas and went into the bathroom. I stripped down and got in the shower. It felt great to finally relax. I made sure to wash all the make-up off until there wasn't a trace on my skin. I washed my hair then turned off the water. I wrung some of the water out of my hair then grabbed a towel and wrapped it around my body. I grabbed a clip and put up my hair, then I slipped into my pajamas. I picked up my old cloths and then opened the door. I shoved them into one of my suit cases then turned to Rosalie.
"Wow, I don't know why…but whenever you or your mom take off your makeup you look absolutely beautiful."
"I never thought about that before…I'll ask her sometime. So is food going to be here soon?" I heard a knock on the door.
"There it is. Now go into the bed room. People know we're staying here but they don't know which room. So go hide so people don't see you." She whispered. I went into the room and laid down on the bed. When Rosalie came back she held the Chinese food in her hands. We sat at the coffee table cross legged from each other. While I ate she told me a little bit about herself. After I was finished she found a movie and put it in. We laid down on the bed together as we watched the movie. It turned out the movie we were watching was August Rush. After a while I fell asleep with my head on Rosalie's shoulder.

As I looked out her sleeping I realized she was still just a kid. She always acted like she was older than she actually was. But as I looked at her sleeping face she looked like she didn't have a care in the world. I heard Harder to Breath by Maroon 5 start playing. Then I realized it was Ivy's ringtone. I found her cell phone and looked at the caller id. It was her mom.

I felt someone lightly shaking me. I woke to see Rosalie smiling at me.
"Sorry to wake you but your mom wants to talk to you." She said holding my open cell phone out to me. I took it and lifted it to my ear.
"Mom?" I asked sitting up and rubbing my eyes.
"Hi, sorry to wake you up, but I need to see if you were alright. Rosalie said you were a little shaken up by some paparazzi."
"A little shaken up is an understatement, but I'm ok."
"Well I just needed to tell you something. Please call us every night. No matter what ok?" she said
"Ok, I will. Oh and is Seth there?" I asked
"Yes, do you want me to put him on?"
"Yes please." Then I put my hand over the microphone. "Um…Rose? Could you leave for a moment please?" I asked
"Sure." She said as she walked out. Then I heard Seth ask
"Hello?"
"Hi Seth…" I said quietly
"Hi Ivy!" he said suddenly a lot happier
"Hey, I'm sorry about leaving without telling you."
"Don't worry about it. Your mom told me that it was a surprise."
"Yeah…I'm actual kind of home sick. I've been in Alaska for about a month, and now I'm going to be…here for at least a week. I'm looking forward to going home." I said.
"I know that feeling. I felt it when I left."
"Well I should probably get back to sleep. Bye Seth, and good night."
"Ok, sweet dreams, Ivy." He said. Then we both hung up the phone. I set it on my bed side table then I fell back asleep.

Then next couple of days leading up to the concert were crazy, Alice showed up like expected and we went out to get cloths. Then after that every day the three of us would go to where I was performing and work on perfecting the details for my concert.
When it was the day of the concert we spent the whole day preparing even though the concert didn't start until seven. We got all the stage effects set up and then two hours before they started letting people in Alice spent the rest of the time getting me prepped. We decided that I would wear a dress for the first two songs, then when smoke was covering the stage I would take it off and it would get taken away and when the smoke cleared I would be standing in the cloths I would be wearing for the rest of the concert. For the second outfit alive had to help me with the shirt. It was a black sleeveless shirt with silver thread that had to be tied like a shoe in the back. Then she left me in my changing room to finish changing. I slipped on my black leather pants on. I opened the door and walked out bare foot. I found Alice waiting for me right next to my door. She came in and helped me with the dress. It went over my other cloths. It was a black sparkly dress that came down to my ankles but almost dragged on the floor in the back. It was strapless, tight around my upper body, and then fell down loosely to my ankles. Then Alice moved onto the make-up. She started by painting my toe nails black, and then she painted each of my finger nails black and silver in a diagonal stripe pattern. Then she moved on to my face. She put on a dark shade of maroon lipstick on my lips, and put magenta blush on my cheeks. She put on black eye shadow, silver eye liner, black mascara, and then tipped my eyelashes silver. When she was done with that she moved onto my hair. She took small sections of my hair from each side of my head then pulled the sections back and clipped them together in the back with a clip that had a rose with black gemstones and the leaves were made with while gem stones. Then she lightly sprayed some hairspray so there wasn't any loose strands sticking out but my hair could still move freely. Then I found my three and a half inch high heels that were leather and shiny. The shoe was made of thin pieces overlapping over my foot. I took the straps that linked together with the silver piece and put them together so the shoes didn't slip off. Then we chose a set of black hoops for earrings. I was wearing my fingerless gloves, my promise bracelet, and the silver wolf necklace my dad got me. I gave a twirl for Alice so she could approve my outfit. Her and Rosalie would follow behind me until the show was about to begin.
Alice and Rosalie were both wearing the same dress, shoes, and earrings that I was except they were white and silver instead of black and silver. They were also wearing less make-up than I was, just around the eyes and their fingernails and toenails were painted, but what make-up they were wearing was silver. When we talked to my mom we decided that we would meet at the VIP entrance. We headed in that direction in an arrow like fashion. I was the point and Rosalie and Alice were behind me. As we got closer I heard a little arguing. I walked over to the open VIP door and saw my mom talking to Alex, one of the guards. Luckily the only people in that area at the moment were the people that I knew. I put my hand on his shoulder and walked in front of him.
"Don't worry Alex, these people are with me." I said calmly pointing to each one of them just in case someone else tried to sneak in.
"If you say so Ms. Call." He moved to the side and let us pass. I turned around and spoke to everyone but Alice and Rosalie.
"Ok, I have to go. But I'll see all of you after the concert." I said smiling. The three of us walked one way, while the others went another. The thing was, there wasn't a VIP area, just an entrance. It made it easier for people to get to the stage area. The three of us went under the stage so I could get on the rig that lifted me up. When I was ready and I had my microphone, Rosalie and Alice left to go find my family to watch the performance. I took deep breaths trying to calm my heart beat. The concert started with My Immortal. The music started and I started singing and then the rig lifted me up to the stage, there were a few people below stage to help with some of the lights and rigs. Someone came over and told me they were going to start the count down. He stood a ways from the rig and started counting down. At zero the music would start. I watched as his fingers fell down one by one. When he hit zero I heard the music and cheering start. After a second, at my cue, I started singing.
I'm so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears
And if you have to leave
I wish that you would just leave
I felt the rig begin to lift me up to the stage. The stage had smoke all around it, leaving my feet invisible underneath the layer.
'Cause your presence still lingers here
And it won't leave me alone
When I reached the stage I saw thousands of people there trying to wave lighters and phones along with the beat.
These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase
I walked forward and placed my microphone on the stand.
When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears
And I held your hand through all of these years
But you still have
All of me
A single white light shined down on me.
You used to captivate me
By your resonating light
Now I'm bound by the life you left behind
Your face it haunts
My once pleasant dreams
Your voice it chased away
All the sanity in me
These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase
I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone
But though you're still with me
I've been alone all along
As the music began to fade out there was thousands of people clapping and cheering. I had gotten through my first song. Nine more to go. I took a deep breath and welcomed the crowd.
"Why hello everyone, as you all know this is my first concert and since it is, I would like to thank everyone for coming. Now that song that I just sang, just in case you don't know, is called My Immortal be Evanescence. The reason I'm singing music by other artists is because I wanted to see hope people would react to my voice before I created a whole bunch of my own songs. Now the next song I'll be singing is Sing for Me by Yellowcard." I stepped away from the stand and took the microphone with me. I waited one second and as soon as I started singing the band began to play.
Look at me
I heard people start cheering.
And listen close
So I can tell you how I feel before I go
Just a year
It's not much time
For me to show you I am proud that you are mine
I wish I had known the future in my heart
Was just about to start
Say tomorrow
I can't follow you there
Just close your eyes and sing for me
I will hear you
Always hear you
And I'll give you the words just sing for me
Every lock
On every door
I put them there to try and hide you from the world
And you kicked
Yeah, you screamed
You never understood, you're everything to me
I just hope you know, the future in your heart
Is just about to start
Say tomorrow
I can't follow you there
Just close your eyes and sing for me
I will hear you
Always hear you
And I'll give you the words just sing for me
No looking back when I am gone (sing for me)
Follow your heart it's never wrong (sing for me)
No looking back when I am gone (sing for me)
Don't second guess the note you're on
Out of time
All out of fight
You are the only thing in life that I got right
Say tomorrow
I can't follow you there
Just close your eyes and sing for me
I will hear you
Always hear you
And I'll give you the words just sing for me
Just close your eyes and sing for me
Just close your eyes and sing for me
As I sang I walked around the edge of the stage. I knelt down and high fived people. Everyone was using their phones and lighters to wave to the beat. Luckily it actually was on beat. At the end of the song fog filled the stage so no one could see a thing. I slipped off my dress and kicked it behind me I heard someone pick my dress up, and then I went right into Decode by Paramour. As I began singing a light wind blew the fog into the crowd.
How can I decide what's right?
When you're clouding up my mind
I can't win your losing fight all the time
How can I ever own what's mine
When you're always taking sides
But you won't take away my pride
No not this time
Not this time
How did we get here?
Well I used to know you so well
When I started the chorus I did a quick fist pump.
How did we get here?
Well I think I know
As I went up to the high note I leaned down so I could get a little bit more support.
The truth is hiding in your eyes
And it's hanging on your tongue
Just boiling in my blood
But you think that I can't see
What kind of man that you are
If you're a man at all
Well I will figure this one out
On my own
(I'm screaming "I love you so")
On my own
(My thoughts you can't decode)
How did we get here?
I did another quick fist pump.
Well I used to know you so well, yeah
How did we get here?
Well I think I know
As I hit this high note I closed my eyes and tilted my head a little. Then as the guitar solo kicked in I went to the side of the stage again. I could hear high school guys cheering at my outfit and people cheering at the song.
Do you see what we've done?
We've gone and made such fools of ourselves
Do you see what we've done?
We've gone and made such fools of ourselves
Yeah...!
How did we get here?
Well I used to know you so well, yeah yeah
I hit the high note perfectly
How did we get here?
Well I used to know you so well
I think I know
I think I know
Ooh, there is something
I see in you
It might kill me
I want it to be true
As the music faded out the crowd went wild.
"Ok, we're going to slow things down a little bit with a little song I like to call 'Feel Again'" I said as the music began.
It's been a long time coming since I've seen your face
I've been everywhere and back trying to replace everything that I've had till my feet went numb
Praying like a fool that's been on the run
Heart still beating but it's not working
It's like a million dollar phone that you just can't ring
I reach out trying to love but I feel nothing
Yeah, my heart is numb
But with you
I feel again
Yeah with you
I can feel again
Yeah
Woo-hoo
Woo-hoo
Woo-hoo
Woo-hoo
I'm feeling better since you know me
I was a lonely soul but that's the old me
It's been a long time coming since I've seen your face
I've been everywhere and back trying to replace everything that I broke till my feet went numb
Praying like a fool who just shot a gun
Heart still beating but it's not working
It's like a hundred thousand voices that just can't sing
I reached out trying to love but I feel nothing
Oh my heart is numb
But with you
I feel again
Yeah with you
I can feel again
But with you
(I'm feeling better since you known me)
I feel again
(I was a lonely soul but that's the old me)
Yeah with you
(I'm feeling better since you known me)
I can feel again
(I was a lonely soul)
Woo-hooo
Woo-hooo
Woo-hooo
Woo-hooo
Woo-hooo
(I'm feeling better since you known me)
(I was a lonely soul, but that's the old me)
(I'm feeling better since you known me)
(I was a lonely soul, but that's the old me)
(I'm feeling better since you known me)
(I was a lonely soul, but that's the old me)
I'm feeling better ever since you known me
I was a lonely soul but that's the old me
A little wiser now from what you showed me
Yeah, I feel again
Feel again...
As I sang the song I just walked around. But we went right into the next song…Riot. I sang the song fist pumping at some parts. Then only main difference was that I had edited the lyrics so it wasn't so vulgar. "Ok, the next song I'll be singing is Killing Lights." And then the music began. I was over half way done.
Oh.
Five A.M. on the bathroom floor from the night before.
Do you find me dreadful?
What a shame such a sad disgrace,
Such a pretty face,
But she's not regretful.
Am I beautiful?
Am I usable?
It's killing time again.
Put on your face and let's pretend,
These killing lights won't kill us all again.
Three A.M. on the city street,
When the air is sweet,
I've had my mouth full.
But it seems that outside the screen
Such a pretty face often will look dreadful.
Am I beautiful?
Am I usable?
It's killing time again.
Put on your face and let's pretend,
These killing lights won't kill us all again.
It's killing time again.
Cover your face and we'll pretend,
These killing lights can't kill us all again.
You see, they always remember.
They never forget a face.
When they cut cut cut cut cut cut cut you up,
Cut cut cut cut cut they remember.
Cut cut cut cut cut cut cut you up.
Cut you up.
It's killing time again.
Put on your face and let's pretend,
These killing lights won't kill us all again.
It's killing time again.
Cover your face and we'll pretend,
These killing lights can't kill us all again.
All again.
All again.
It's time again.
It's killing time...
Again, as the music faded out, the crowd went wild. "Ok, now then. Let's continue on."
I'm waking up to ash and dust
I wipe my brow and I sweat my rust
I'm breathing in the chemicals
I'm breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse
Whoa
I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive, radioactive
I raise my flags, don my clothes
It's a revolution, I suppose
We'll paint it red to fit right in
Whoa
I'm breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse
Whoa
I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive, radioactive
All systems go, sun hasn't died
Deep in my bones, straight from inside
I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive, radioactive
I walked around the stage as I sang again.
"Ok, next song. This song I have loved for a while now. So here we go!" I said as people cheered.
I... I came here by day, but I left here in darkness
And found you, found you on the way
And now, it is silver and silent, it is silver and cold
You, in somber resplendence, I hold
Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one
Your sins into me
As a rapturous voice escapes, I will tremble a prayer
And I'll beg for forgiveness
(Your sins into me) Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one
Light, like the flutter of wings, feel your hollow voice rushing into me
As you're longing to sing
So I... I will paint you in silver, I will wrap you in cold
I will lift up your voice as I sink
Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one, now
Your sins into me
As a rapturous voice escapes, I will tremble a prayer
And I'll beg for forgiveness
(Your sins into me) Your sins into me
Cold in life's throes, I'll fall asleep for you
Cold in life's throes, I only ask you turn away
Cold in life's throes, I'll fall asleep for you
Cold in life's throes, I only ask you turn
As they seep... into me, oh, my beautiful one, now
Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one
Your sins into me
As a rapturous voice escapes, I will tremble a prayer
And I'll beg for forgiveness
(Your sins into me)
Your sins into me... oh
Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one, now
Your sins into me
As a rapturous voice escapes, I will tremble a prayer
And I'll beg for forgiveness
(Your sins into me) Your sins into...
(Your sins into me) Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one
People were cheering like crazy. "Ok, next will be a song from a long time favorite band." As I sang Harder to Breath I walked around and sang my heart out. I slowly tried to prepare myself for the last song. I walked over to the microphone stand and put the microphone into the holder.
"Ok, this final song was the one I wrote. I'm dedicating it to my friends and family because they helped me when I was in trouble so many times. It's called, Falling Slowly." As the music began, I joined into the calm song.
I said that I was always alright,
That I could take care of myself,
But no matter what you always listened to my screams
And lifted me up.
I was falling slowly,
Oh so slowly.
I was falling slowly,
But you helped me up.
I always wear a mask…
One you always see to see past…
And one that you can always crack,
But the thing was, I was falling down
I was falling slowly
Oh so slowly
I was falling slowly
But you were there to catch me when I fell.
You left me alone
But you did it to protect me
So I don't care
Because, I love you…
I slowly began to prepare myself as the piano did its solo
Because I love you!
The first three words led up to the high note. So when I sang you, I sang the highest note I had ever sung in my life. I hit it perfectly.
Because, I love you…
I sang the last line and it faded out with the music. I looked out at the cheering crowd. Everyone was cheering at the top of their lungs. "Thank you everyone! You guys were an amazing audience. See you next time New York City!" I yelled over the cheering. I backed away from the microphone and gave a little bow. I walked off the stage and found Alice and Rosalie waiting for me. They ran over and gave me a huge hug.
"Oh my god, you did it! And it was amazing!" they each said. I took each of their hands in my own and we walked off to go see my family. I found them staying in a huge group. I hadn't gotten to see all of them before, but the Cullen's, all the werewolves and their girlfriends, and my family, were all there. I gave each of them a huge hug and saved Seth and Alexa for last.
"I can't believe that you actual came!" I said to Alexa
"I can't believe that you're a star!" we both hugged each other again.
"Come on, let's go home." I said
