| CHAPTER 5 |

When the moment for speak was there, Rodrik Cassel showed up with something more important than Theon's issue. Some men had passed The Wall limits, breaking their oath. So Lord Stark had to care of it. He promised Theon that they will speak later, but that later never came. News from King's Landing had arrived...

He knocked the door for the third time. Perhaps Roslyn was asleep. He'd try once more before he decides to enter to her chambers. He waited a few seconds and knocked again. There was no answer, so he decided to come in. Fortunately, the door was unlocked. Roslyn was lying on her bed, looking so quiet.

"Roslyn, are you awake?" he asked with a calm voice. She did not answer.

He walked slowly to her bed, and then he took seat on the edge of it. He run his finger through the girl's soft hair. She was sleeping. She looked so calm, so peaceful. It must have been hard to take such a notice.

Suddenly, she woke up.

"Theon" she whispered and then she yawned.

"I wanted to see you. I will not ask about your mood, because the answer will be too obvious".

"It's not what you think" she denied it and that surprised Theon. "I do not know how to feel... " she hesitated. "It is true that a part of me feels in pain, but I haven't seen my father in a long time, and it is hard for me to remember him. Aye, he wrote me often, sometimes he sent me gifts, but that don't requite the fact that he was not by me side".

Quickly, Theon thought if his father dies, he would feel exactly the same way Roslyn was feeling.

"Please, do not think that you are alone... You have me, don't forget about it" he said as he smirked.

A little smile played on her lips. She took one of Theon's hands. Suddenly, their lips meet each other in a sweet and comfort kiss, just what Roslyn needed. Sometimes, she was surprised by Theon's kindness and sweetness. She was changing him, but none of them had noticed yet.

"I have to go" he said after he broke off the kiss. "I would like to stay the whole night, but I don't want to cause you trouble in this moment" he got up and kissed her in her forehead. "Get some rest"

"Thank you, Theon"

The days had passed since she knew about her father's death. Fortunately, she was doing pretty well. Everybody had been so considered, —especially Theon —although everybody was busy getting ready for the King Robert's arrive at Winterfell. Roslyn saw this as an opportunity to distend herself.

The day finally was there. The king arrived and he was accompanied by a big group of people, including his family, the royal guards and servants. Every member of the Royal Family made their entrance. Roslyn noticed that Cersei, the queen, was very unpleasant to be there. Cersei formally greeted every member of the Stark familly, then she went to Roslyn's side.

"Your grace" Roslyn curtsied.

"My condolences about your father" the queen said but it did not feel true for Roslyn, Cersei did not care about the young lady feelings.

"Thank you, my lady"

Roslyn watched to Robert and Cersei's children. Without a doubt, they all shared the Lannister's looks. Joffrey seemed so arrogant, and Myrcella and Tommen were the opposite.

A few seconds later, Robert Baratheon approached Roslyn, so she curtsied again.

"Your highness"

"I feel sorry about you father, child" he said as he rested his big hand in one of Roslyn's shoulders. "No doubt, Jon Arryn was an honorable man, he was like a father to me, I adored him. If you need something, you can come to me and ask, do not hesitate"

"Thanks, your grace"

After the greetings, everybody dispersed, there would be a big feast later, so they had to prepare themselves.

Roslyn was heading to her chambers when Robb appeared behind her.

"Roslyn!" he called and she turned around.

"What is it, Robb?"

"Father told me that if you do not feel well, you can skip the feast, your non-attendance will be understood"

"Thanks to your father for his consideration, but I will go, I need to have fun" Roslyn replied.

"Good. See you then" he smiled and then he went away.

Roslyn was brushing her hair, when somebody knocked the door.

"Please, come in" she pointed. It was Ned Stark who came in. "What is this grateful visit for, my Lord?" she left the brush on her desk.

"How are you, Roslyn?" Ned asked, closing the door behind him.

"I feel better, thanks" she pursed her lips.

"I'm glad I hear that" he smiled. "I know I haven't talked to you these days, but that's why I wanted to respect your mourning" she nodded. "You've been living here for a long time, and I want you to know that you are part of the Stark family"

"Thank you, my Lord, it means a lot. I am so grateful to you and your family, you always are so kind to me. I appreciate each one of you. Winterfell feels like home to me" she confessed. She did not dare to tell him that he was like a father to her.

"We appreciate you too, Roslyn" he kept his warm smile on his face. "Robb had told me that you will come to the feast, is that true?"

"Yes, it is. It's a good occasion for distend myself" she answered.

"Good" he made a short pause "I let you know that you will enter to the feast with Theon, I hope there is no a problem with it"

"Absolutely no, my Lord" she wondered if Ned knew or even suspected about Theon y Roslyn.

"Aye, I'm going to go, so you can prepare yourself"

"Thanks for your visit, Lord Stark"
