Enjoy the next installment.

20 minutes later Regina had one of Henry tshirts on as she begrudgingly allowed David to help her walk to the bathroom and carefully ease her into the water. David left Regina to get as comfortable as she could while he tried to light the room enough so that he could see what he was doing. Once the room was as lit as it was going to get David started shouting for Henry to come help him set things up. Henry had to ignore his mother sitting the bathtub clearly in pain as he listened to his grandfather rattle of things that he needed Henry to help him with.

"Go into the kitchen and put on a pot of boiling water, largest pot you have and when it boils, turn it down to a simmer. Grab me a pair of shoes that no one will miss and undo the shoelaces. Grab the rubbing alcohol from the bathroom upstairs and then bring me at least 6 large bowls ok." Henry nodded and ran out of the room while David started to grab every towel he could find and pile them next to the tub.

"How you doing Regina?" Regina was breathing, or trying to breathe, the way she and Emma had learned would help with the pain, but it wasn't doing her any good. When the contraction passed she took deeper breaths and looked up at David.

"Leave it to my children to demand an entrance that rivals mine at your wedding." David smiled as he took stock of what he had in the bathroom and once Henry returned with all the items he asked for, David knew that this was all the preparation he could do and the rest was up to fate and Regina.

"Look Regina, we both know that this is going to be awkward, but unless you want Henry to do it, I kind of have to get in the tub and start figuring out where we are at." Regina nodded her head, knowing David was right and hating that Emma was still no wear to be found.

"Henry!" The teenager came running again and this time his mother spoke. "Go into the bookshelf on my bed stand and grab the pregnancy book that has post it notes sticking out of it." The teenager took off running down the hall and up the stairs. Her torn through the books until he found the one his mother was wanting. When he returned to the bathroom with the book Regina told David to flip to the 15th chapter, the one that gave a step by step explanation of how to deliver a baby at home or in an emergency situation. David put it on the floor of the bathroom before taking off his socks and stepping into the water with Regina. The tub was huge and easily fit two people lying down so David was able to stand at Regina's feet without crowding her. Henry decided to wait in the hallway because, well, no teenager wants to see his mother give birth. David put on a pair of gloves from the first aid kit and he quickly kneeled in the water, not caring that his pants were now soaking wet.

He and Regina locked eyes for a moment and David sighed, "ok so we are in agreement, we never talk about the fact that I have to do what I am about to do."

"Agreed." David nodded as he pushed Regina's legs further apart and slipped his hand under the water, trying to find out how dilated she was and how screwed they were. David looked down at the book on the floor and removed his hand from Regina.

"You're 6 cm. You must have been in labor while you were sleeping and not noticed it." Regina took a deep breath and grabbed the tub ledge as a contraction hit. "What does that mean?"

"It means we have time, but not much of it. Once the first baby come the next one is going to be hot on her heel, literally."

"So Emma has how long to get here?" David didn't know and he shook his head. "I have no idea Regina, a few hours I think. These babies will be born with or without Emma. I'm not going anywhere so we'll figure this out together if we have to." Regina was thankful that David had found his focus and was about to help her stay as calm as was possible. David yelled for Henry to call Emma again and tell her 6cm. The radio conversation was short, just like before and when it ended Henry wasn't sure who was more frightened, him or Emma.

Emma was pacing the station trying desperately to think of a way to get home. She tried transporting herself, but her emotions were too erratic to be controlled enough to move her more than a few feet. Emma looked outside to see that the snow had slowed down and would likely be stopping soon. Emma knew it was a stupid idea and could end badly, but she wasn't just going to sit there. She put on ever jacket and coat she had on, wrapped her neck and face with two scarfs and put on her hat and gloves before grabbing her keys and a shovel. When she got outside she found herself already standing in four feet of snow. With a deep breath Emma started to shovel the snow out of her way. Every step she took she was more committed to getting home and so she ignored the bitter cold, ignored the wet feeling she had in her gloves and boot, she would have ignored frost bite itself if it meant getting home. After about three blocks Emma knew that if she kept this up, she'd die before she reached the house, but there was one place near by that held something she could use to get home. Another four blocks of shoveling and snow and Emma all but fell into Gold's shop. Belle was sitting behind the counter and was startled by Emma's appearance.

"Emma, what the hell are you doing out in this storm? You'll catch your death out there." Belle shut the door and offered Emma some water before the blonde said anything. When she spoke Emma all but yelled, "where is he?"

"Rumple's upstairs, but why…." Emma dropped her shovel and started shouting at the ceiling. "Listen to me you imp son of a bitch, you get your ass down here now and help me." Gold joined them moments later.

"You rang dearie?" Emma pushed her scarf away from her mouth and spoke in a dead serious tone. "Regina is in labor and I need you to get me home."

"I was under the assumption that her majesty was not interested in my powers."

"Don't get cocky, we don't want you training our children, but if you have ANY decency in you, any love for Henry, you'll send me home to see my children be born." Gold pondered the plea for a moment and asked Emma, "and just what will I get out of this Ms. Swan? All magic comes at a price, you remember that right dearie?" Emma's nostrils flared and she reached into her jacket and pulled out her gun, aiming it at Gold.

"Let me rephrase myself. Either you send me home or I will put a bullet through the only good leg you have left. Now, SEND ME HOME." Belle watched as Gold seemed to actually consider the idea of getting shot over his pride and she finally stepped forward and put her hand over Emma's gun.

"He'll get you home, no charge."

"Belle."

"You owe them a debt you cannot repay, the least you can do is get her home in one piece to see her daughters be born. You owe Regina and I'm telling you to do it." Gold bit his tongue and Emma smiled knowing she had just gotten exactly what she wanted. Gold turned around and fumbled with a few items until he found the thing he was looking for. Her handed a sort of necklace looking thing to Emma and the blonde looked confused.

"This is going to get me home." Gold nodded. "Put it on and think, concentrate very hard about where it is you wish to be and it will take you there. You are a bit inexperienced so it may only get you to your driveway, but it will get you home Ms. Swan." Emma quickly put the necklace on and concentrated all her mental focus on going home to Regina and after a few minutes she was engulfed in a puff of white smoke, leaving only Gold and Belle standing in the shop. When Emma opened her eyes, she was outside, but she was on her block. The necklace had worked to a point and she was close enough that she could simply run the rest of the way home. Looking at her watch Emma realized that almost two hours had passed since Henry had called her last and she could already be too late, but she ran toward the house praying that she hadn't just missed the most important moment in her and Regina's life. She reached the front door, tired, cold, wet and out of breath, but she didn't care. She had made it home. The only question was, did she make it in time.
