Hey there everyone, thank you so much for all the reviews, most of them being positive. That being said, I do have one small grievance. I understand that baby names can be, for some reason, a hot button issue in these stories so naturally some people will disagree with your choices. Yes, I could have named the first baby after David's mother, but I like Davina more, mostly because it lends itself to more nicknames like Vi or Vivi. So believe me I have read lots of stories where I couldn't stand the baby names picked, but the stories were good so I read them anyway because at the end of the day it wasn't my decision because it wasn't my story. This however is my story and I named them what I wanted and most of you seemed to respond with positive words or constructive criticism and I appreciate you all for that. But for the people saying it was the stupidest name they have EVER heard I suggest you open a People magazine and see what celebrities are naming their children. Other than that, in the words of Family Guy, "if you don't like it, go on the Internet and complain." Thank you to everyone else who seem to still be enjoying this story and I apologize for the rant. Anyway, on we go.

Once Emma returned to the downstairs bedroom Regina had managed to prop herself up against the headboard with most of their pillows. Emma had a baby in each arm and she carefully handed Emily over to Regina and once she was settled she placed Davina in Regina's free arm. Emma quickly climbed into her spot on the bed, moving close to Regina so that they were both touching the babies. Neither of them spoke for a while, they just looked at the tiny bundles in front of them and grinned from ear to ear.

"My parents offered to stay tonight and get up with them when they cried, give you a chance to really rest." Regina scoffed at the idea. "Darling, women give birth everyday and then immediately go into taking care of the child they bore."

"Ok, number one when you talk like that it's super cute, number two, you've had a big day babe. The labor was bad enough, but in the middle of a storm, with no lights, that's a lot of stress on your body and your brain. Take this one gift of my parents watching them for the night and sleep, please. We have lots of sleepless nights ahead of us, missing this one won't hurt us." Regina had to agree that she was tired and hurt pretty much everywhere from her neck down, but she wanted to hold her daughters and never let go. Regina picked up Davina and held her close enough to kiss her forehead. Emma smiled and scooped up Emily.

"You know something Emmy, your mommy is a pretty special lady. See a long time ago, your mommy didn't like me very much." The child in her arms fussed and Emma had to laugh. "I know crazy right. But seriously, she hated me. But we both loved your big brother a whole lot and some crazy stuff happened in this town that forced us to team up. We saved your brother, your mommy saved the town a couple of times, with my help of course and in the middle of all that your mommy finally realized that she had fallen madly in love with me. Who could blame her?" Regina rolled her eyes, but couldn't help but feel a warmth in her heart as Emma spoke to their child.

"Then when we went to go save your brother because he never stops getting into trouble, your mommy got really hurt and I thought I was going to lose her. But you know what, I didn't. Instead we got your brother and when we were coming home we finally realized exactly how much we loved each other. Then we made grandma faint when we told her we were dating." The baby seemed to smile at that and even though Regina knew it was probably just gas, she told herself that her daughter thought that part of the story was a funny as she herself found it to be.

"Yes, yes, it was all very funny. But then mommy and I started dating, then I moved in here and after a really long time I finally got up the courage to ask your mommy to marry me. Thankfully she said yes and we got married here at the house and you know something, no woman has ever looked as beautiful as your mommy did that day. And before we had time to enjoy any time just being married you and your sister popped up, literally out of nowhere. But, I'm gonna tell you a secret." Emma reached over and touched the cheek of Davina who still was sound asleep against Regina. "You listening over there Vi? Because this is important stuff. You and your sister did surprise us, but without a doubt you two are the greatest surprise we ever could have dreamt of asking for." Emma kissed the baby in her own arms and leaned over and kissed Davina and as she pulled away she pressed a firm kiss against Regina's lips.

Regina brushed tears away from her eyes. "You left out all the parts were you got in trouble and had to sleep on the couch for a few days."

Emma shrugged her shoulders, "you'll tell them all about those no doubt. I'm going to go set my parents up in the guest room. You ok with both of them for a while?"

"I think I'll manage just fine." Emma nodded and left the room. Regina moved the babies so that she had them both lying in her lap, nestled next to each other in the large comforter.

"Your mother always did have a way with stories, your brother likes them too. I fear my stories are something you'll have to wait to hear until you are both quite a bit older. I never really had a good relationship with my mother so having daughters is a bit frightening for me. I want to have a better relationship with both of you and I never want to hurt you the way that she hurt me. I made a lot of mistakes with your brother and I know I'll make some with you as well, so just be patient with me ok? Henry turned out well despite my mistakes, so between me and your momma I think we can raise the two of you pretty well, what do you think?" Neither baby moved and stayed fast asleep, but Regina smiled all the same.

"I love you both so very much. You're the blessings I always wanted, but never thought I deserved. I apologize in advance for the fairytale overload you'll get the second you both are old enough to understand this town. But I've come to find out that most of the people here are good people who can't wait to see you grow up. But they will have to wait, because I want you to stay little for as long as you can." Regina paused when she looked over at the door to see Apollo sitting at the door waiting as though he wasn't sure if he could come in.

"Come on." Apollo trotted over to Emma's side of the bed and jumped up, quickly leaning down to sniff at the babies lying in Regina's lap.

"Gentle. They aren't in my belly anymore." Apollo listened and carefully sniffed around both babies before curling his body around Regina's lap and thus the babies. He settled down and put his head down on the bed making a sort of circle around the babies. Regina had to admit it was rather adorable. Apollo had always been very protective of Regina, but now that the babies were there he knew that they came first. Regina leaved back against the pillows and though she didn't mean to, she drifted off to sleep in a matter of minutes.

Twenty minutes later, Emma returned to find her wife, her daughters and her dog all passed out on the bed. Apollo lifted his head up for a moment, but put it back down once he saw it was Emma. Emma took a picture of the moment before picking the girls up carefully so as not to wake them. Apollo followed Emma as she left the room with both babies in hand and headed up the stairs. She put both babies in the same crib, knowing that twins often liked to be close to each other for the first few weeks of their lives. As Emma went to leave the room she expected to see Apollo trotting in front of her, instead she looked back to see the dog flop down at the base of the crib and curl up. Emma had to smile because she never thought that getting a dog for the family would mean having a guard dog as fiercely loyal as Apollo. He'd kill for Regina, that much was clear and Emma prayed for the poor bastard that went after either of her daughters because she wasn't sure what the dog would do to them, but she knew it wasn't good.

Brief I know, but I wanted to get this up. Hope everyone enjoyed it and thank you for everyone who has stuck with me.
