A/N- Hello dear readers (: I wonder how many of you actually read the author notes. Well anyways I hope you like this chapter. And like always feel free to tell me what you thought, like if you liked it, disliked it, what I can improve etc. I don't own PJO and I never will because I'm not a 40-year-old man.

Ellie's POV

"Hey dad." I drawled out. Holy cheese balls what have I done? This was not supposed to happen.

"Ok everyone to their cabins immediately or the harpies will get you." Chiron announced before turning back to my dad and bowing. He then proceeded to trot off to the big house with Mr. D.

"Uh hey dad great to see you. I'll let you talk to Ellie alone." Percy mumbled before running off. I turned around to see a man about 6 foot 3 glaring down at me. Well hey it wasn't my fault he was a shit parent.

"Let's talk Eliana." He said briskly. Uh oh full names are always a bad sign. I followed him down to the lake and sat next to him on a log.

"So what was it you wanted to talk about?" I asked him.

"I wanted to explain to you in person why I didn't claim you earlier to show that I wasn't a bad father, but it seems as though you have already made up your mind."

"Uh sorry about that um so am I forgiven?" I asked looking up at him.

"You will not be forgiven that easily. To prove that you deserve to be forgiven you must go on a quest. Tomorrow morning you shall visit Rachel before leaving. If you come back then I'll explain everything to you." He said before disappearing.

"What just happened? And what did he mean by if I came back?" I wondered aloud. It's only been a day and I'm going on a quest. Man am I living the vida loca.

I walked back to the cabin only to find Percy totally knocked out.

"Hey Percy, psssst. Yo Percy. Hello?" I whisper-yelled. I poked his face, shook him and made him slap himself, but he wouldn't wake up.

"Ugh! Stupid brother why won't you get up!" I yelled in frustration. Suddenly, I got an idea. I raised my hand up and brought it down to his cheek as hard as I could.

"Ow! Ιερά σκατά!" he yelled. He glared at me while rubbing his cheek.

"Sorry, but I had to tell you something!" I defended.

"Well? Spit it out!"

"I'm leaving on a quest tomorrow morning." I muttered behind my hand.

"What? I didn't hear."

"I said that I'm leaving on a quest." I coughed into my sweatshirt.

"What? Ellie you need to speak up for Gods sake!"

"I'm leaving on a quest tomorrow!" I screamed at him. He stared at me before laughing and walking away.

"Good one El." He chuckled.

"I'm not kidding." I said looking down at my beat up converse. In all honesty I was scared out of my mind. Percy looked at me before asking, "Why? Why so soon?"

"Dad wants me to prove that I am worthy of his forgiveness." I spat out. Percy walked over to me and hugged me. We both stood there hugging each other in silence before he mumbled, "I hope its something like picking up Apollo's underwear off of the roofs of Las Vegas."

I laughed and smacked his arm before letting go of him and flopping onto my bed.

"Night Ellie, see you in the morning." Percy sighed.

_Page Break_

I woke up the next morning dreading the day ahead of me. I got up and headed to the bathroom to shower. Once I got out I dressed in my clothes mom had sent last night before and brushed my teeth. I looked at myself one last time in the mirror before deeming myself presentable.

I noticed that Percy had already left so I walked alone to the dining hall. After this I would have to go see Rachel, the oracle.

"Hey do you know where Rachel is?" I asked Percy once I had gotten my food. I looked at him as he picked at his scrambled eggs.

"She might be in the Apollo cabin or in the arts and crafts center." He said quietly.

"You still upset about the quest thing?"

"Well yeah. I mean you've had no training what so ever and I might not be able to go with you, but you're a big girl now and I think you can make it out alive."

"You think I can do this? Thanks for having confidence in me." I say sarcastically.

"Scratch that, you'll dominate in whatever mission you get."

"Now that's more like it." I grin pointing my fork at him. There was a comfortable silence for a while. I was still thinking about what my mission would be and if I should call mom before I leave.

"So you and Leo huh?" Percy says wiggling his eyebrows. I start choking on my food and everyone in the dining hall gives me odd looks.

"Oh my gods no. Where did you get that idea?"

"Well you two were very friendly yesterday."

"We're just friends Percy, nothing more. I don't like him that way, he's like a best friend." I explain.

"Ouch. Poor guy got friend zoned that fast?"

"Shut up!" I say, smacking his shoulder.
