Anyone at the Naru2U in Ottawa? Here is a very bad picture of my quadsuit, which I finally can show off! (I'm in the left corner, the wolf quadsuit is black so it's really hard to see me.) Naru2U/status/396798498987073536/photos

Sorry for such the long wait, as I said, Halloween costuming gets in the way sometimes. *sigh* oh well, here's a totally great ending chappy! I'm sad though because TC... is ending here. This is the end. I love you all so much!

"MORNING!" Lucy woke up in a jolt, throwing Natsu's arms off of her accidently. He protested sleepily, trying to find her again to tuck her in close, but Lucy glared at the two girls in front of them.

"Good morning lovebirds! Breakfast is ready!" Michelle cried, with Wendy next to her, giggling slightly. Once they were sure Lucy was awake, they ran off laughing. Lucy rolled her eyes, lying back in the bed. Natsu still hadn't woken up. She giggled, brushing some stray pink hair from his face. Surprisingly, it was soft, like a feather.

You learned something new every day, she thought. Natsu finally stirred, opening his soft, sleep-drunk onyx eyes. "'Morning Luce." He blinked fuzzily. Lucy smiled.

"Morning." Natsu pulled her in close, making her almost (almost!) squeak in surprise but she held it in. She smiled though, wrapped up in his arms. "Somebody feeling cuddly today?" she joked.

He chuckled, and Lucy felt the rumbling in her ear. "cuddles sound nice." He replied simply, holding her closer for emphasis.

The blonde giggled and tried to push him away, protesting that "Michelle and Wendy said breakfast was ready,' but he held on tighter. She huffed her bangs out of her eyes and gave up, curling in close.

She felt happy.

Nine months later...

Lucy felt her stomach churning, but she had a wide smile on her face. Levy, Juvia, and Erza, behind her, clapped.

"Oh you're so beautiful in that dress! I'm so happy for you!" The ex-bandit turned around to grin at them, feeling teary-eyed.

Lucy had become friends with Levy in the past few months, seeing the previously-healing girl hanging around the castle and often disappearing into the library downstairs. Lucy had recognized the book Levy had been reading at the time, and got into a heated argument of Sophie or Josh being the one who would save the world. They became friends quickly and easily, and the blue bookworm was hired as a maid. Lucy even knew the little crush she had on Prince Gajeel, and had seen the looks past between them if he came over.

Natsu had properly introduced Lucy to Gray, quite an awkward experience, since the Ice mage was flirting with her transformed version of herself, Lyra in the competition, beforehand. Lucy had laughed, telling to put it behind and start on a fresh page, without any boot-throwing maniacs. In turn, both the Ice wizard and Dragon Slayer had introduced her to Erza, the scary redhead. Lucy had actually found the slightly socially-awkward woman enjoyable, even if she did have her (DON'T TOUCH MY CAKE!) faults.

Juvia was Gray's girlfriend. She had a tendency to talk in 3rd person, which Lucy didn't get, but she didn't question it. She also, despite being his boyfriend, adored Gray and accused anyone who said his name was her 'Love Rival.' You really had to be careful of what you said around her if it involved the Ice-mage. But, Lucy still liked her.

Igneel walked up to the two, looking up and down Lucy in her white dress. It was a smooth, flowing gown with sparkly, intricate beading woven into the fabric, making a long train behind her. The silky feel of the fabric was surprisingly lightweight, snuggling into her curves nicely. The ex-bandit had her hair tied in an updo, with a pretty white veil over her chocolate eyes. Lucy personally didn't like dresses, or dressing up, she seriously asked to her husband if they could elope and get married on an isolated island or something, but she had to admit the dress and everything with it was beautiful.

She swallowed, taking Igneel's arm.

He bent over, just so he could whisper in her ear. "I'm proud of you two." Lucy flushed faintly, but managed to smile, hoping that the veil concealed the tinge of pink. She looked forwards at the curtain in front of them, hearing faint, excited chattering on the other side. She swallowed, trying to calm the butterflies in her stomach.

On the other side, music started to play. The bridesmaids, Mira, Levy, Erza, and Lisanna, her practical sisters, went in first, wearing medium-length red dresses, sending the bride a wink before passing the curtain. Lucy heard Elfman crying (in a manly fashion) in the background, making her silently chuckle.

She felt tugging on her train and looking back, seeing Michelle and Wendy, the flower girls, holding it up so the fabric didn't drag. Michelle waved, and Lucy almost got teary-eyed again. The younger blonde mouthed 'good luck!' and gave her a thumbs-up.

There was the cue. Lucy stepped forwards with Igneel, arm locked in his, passing through the curtain with Michelle and Wendy following her. She looked down at the floor, afraid of what people would think of her, but the room was eerily silent except for the music. The blonde finally collected the courage to look up.

Everyone seemed shocked into silence. Eventually the quietness burst and people made excited gasps and whispered about the girl in the beautiful dress. Lucy looked around, seeing couples and loners and groups.

Sting was half-sitting, half-cuddling with Yukino, and Rogue was beside him with their father. The Celestial Spirit mage was trying to get Sting to focus on the marriage, not so much on her, but the White Dragon Slayer continued to cuddle. Rogue had that eerily silent stare, watching the ceremony and Metalicana was grinning brightly, giving her a twin thumbs-up.

And there was Gajeel, behind that group, chewing on a piece of metal. Lucy suspected the only reason he was here was because Levy specifically asked him, or, simply because she was there. She'd caught the looks they sent each other, or the staring when the other wasn't looking.

There was blue-haired man that didn't talk too much but was a wise scholar, the fiancée to Erza. Jellal, if Lucy remembered correctly, was childhood friends with her but they only recognized their feelings for each other afterwards. She caught him staring at the fiery-haired woman and chuckled silently.

Happy was standing closer to the front, wearing a black horse tuxedo, (Lucy wondered if there was such a thing at first,) next to Wendy's white talking horse, Charle. Despite having an attitude, Happy adored the white horse with a pink muzzle and ears, currently clothed in a red dress. (Still, Lucy wondered, if there was such a thing.) The horses, plus PantherLily, Gajeel's talking horse, were looking at Lucy when she came out.

She past a blue-haired boy, Romeo Conbolt, wearing a navy tuxedo. Wendy and him had become super-close friends after the ball nine months ago, and Lucy suspected there was a little more going on than just-friends. She caught Wendy blushing once after passing a hallway, and down it was the dark-haired boy, blushing just as red. Hmm, she'd thought. Now, whenever anyone said Macao's son's name, Wendy would clam up.

Lucy flushed at the amount of people staring at her, but looked onwards, where her man was waiting for her. Natsu was dressed in a black tuxedo with a red boutonniere. His spiky-pink locks weren't smoothed down, one, because Lucy liked them just the way they are and recommended he didn't, and second, because they wouldn't go down with the toughest hairgel out there either way. He wore shiny leather black shoes, and clean-pressed dress pants.

The blonde smiled softly to herself. Natsu had turned away from Gray and seemed just as shell-shocked as the others. It didn't last for too long, because he straightened, beaming widely. Igneel let go of her arm and she climbed up the mini stone steps, feeling all the eyes of the people staring at her from below.

Natsu ducked in, whispering into her ear. "You look beautiful." Lucy blushed; she really hoped nobody could see through the veil.

The priest was a short, kind-eyed man wearing white robes and a tall hat, with thinning, graying hair, and a bushy moustache. He harrumphed into his fist, clearing his throat, before starting. "We are here today—"

"JUST GET ON WITH THE KISS ALREADY!" someone shouted. A vein popped in the tiny man's forehead.

"Shut up you hooligan!" Lucy sweatdropped.

This was a great start.

"Do you, Natsu Dragneel, take this woman as your wife?"

"I do." Natsu smiled at Lucy warmly. She smiled back.

"And you, Lucy Heartfilia, do you take this man as your husband?"

"I do." Lucy felt her stomach tingling, but it wasn't in nervous anticipation. Okay, maybe a bit, but jumping a hurdle like that felt amazing.

The priest grinned at the two. "You may now ki—"

"JUST KISS ALREADY!" Lucy spotted a long, chocolate-haired woman, drinking a bottle of— what that alcohol? ... something shouting at the two, before Natsu lifted her veil and captured her lips. Lucy's heart soared for the sky as the room burst into cheers, the loudest of all being Michelle and Igneel, the rowdiest of them all. Lucy smiled against Natsu lips, feeling her knees go weak from the love she felt behind the kiss.

Natsu pulled away, still holding his thumb until her chin, and said, "I love you." He beamed brightly.

Lucy grinned, "I love you more." They turned to look at the roaring crowd, and Lucy saw something that made her eyes go wide.

She couldn't speak for a moment. "... I-It's you! Him!" Makarov was sitting in the very front, clapping loudly, where Lucy could have sworn the seat was empty before. She gaped for a moment, blinking, and he disappeared into thin air. Her pink-haired husband blinked, looking at her like she was crazy.

"What?" Lucy gaped for a few more seconds before sighing and giving up, taking his hand instead. She'd never get that old man.

They partied, they talked, they danced, all into the night. Later, Lucy collapsed onto the bad, sighing in relief. That was the best and yet the most stressful time of her life. Natsu collapsed beside her, already asleep, while she stared admiringly at her wedding ring.

It was perfect, a twin silver dragon band circling a golden key, fitting perfectly around her ring finger. Every little scale and detail was etched in perfectly. She adored it, rolling over and kissing his cheek.

His hands grabbed her waist and pulled her in closer. Lucy, thinking he was asleep, yelped. Natsu grinned deviously. "Don't scare me like that!" Lucy wailed half-heartedly. The Dragon Slayer kissed her cheek in return.

"You fell for it, you fell for it." He teased, and Lucy squirmed a bit to tap his nose, sticking her tongue out. Natsu pouted like a lost puppy, and the ex-bandit almost melted. She hated that look, only because he could make her do anything with it. She scowled, looking away. Behind her back, Natsu grinned.

"I saw you looking at the ring. You like it?" He asked. Lucy beamed, forgetting about her stubbornness for a second.

"I love it. It's perfect, Natsu."

"That's good. I spent a long time trying to find the best. Only the best for you."

Lucy smiled but hesitated. She'd never asked Natsu this, and while she wanted to, she was always a little scared of the answer. "Natsu... why did you fall in love with a bandit?"

The Dragon Slayer raised an eyebrow. "Fell in love with you? 'Cause you're the best, Luce." He told her, nuzzling her neck. Lucy never got his next-to obsession with cuddling. The Dragon Slayer really, really loved to cuddle. He was like a living teddybear. Honestly though, she didn't mind.

"No, I mean fell in love with a bandit. I've done- did," she corrected herself, remembering that he disliked when she said that, "horrible things to people, why did you... you know?"

Natsu thought for a moment. "Well, despite what you think, you were never a bad person. You did what you had to do to survive. You're caring to your Spirits, you took in this little girl that you didn't know, fed both her and yourself... I could still go on. You're a great, beautiful, awesome, amazing, fantastic woman." Natsu beamed, and Lucy flushed brightly. She didn't even know he knew that many synonyms, but she felt honored that he was using them for her.

"... Okay." She smiled against his chest, feeling safe in his arms. Natsu pulled the blanket over them both, kissing the girl's forehead softly. "I love you. More than I could ever put into words." He heard her say, voice muffled from underneath the blankets.

"And you're the bookworm." He joked. "I love you more."

"That's simply not possible."

He chuckled. "Yep. It's definitely true."

"No, it's not."

Lucy shook her head, tucked close to Natsu's chest.

What were the chances that a Dragon Slayer prince and Celestial Spirit mage bandit would stumble into each other and before they knew it, fell in love?

She didn't know, but they did it.
