Previously:I figured that the ship would be packed. I was right there were a ton of people aboard. After a few minutes of walking around I heard nothing.

"It's a ghost ship." Percy said.

"No, bad smell." Tyson replied.

"I don't smell anything." I said.

We walked around a little more before we all agreed that we needed to hide. This ship didn't feel right, almost like it was overrun by monsters or something.

"How do you know Annabeth? Maybe it is." a voice hissed in my head.

Chapter 9

We Explore the Princess Andromeda

Demigod dreams are a lot of things. They are mostly horrifying through because you know that what you are seeing will come back and haunt you.

My dream started out with a pirate ship. It had was a three mast ship and an older one. One that had actually been in a few real cannonball fights. In the dream I was tied to one of the mast. Percy was in front of me sailing the ship with the giant steering wheel. Did Percy tie me here? Is he a traitor? My mind raced.

"Annabeth! Annabeth help!"

I woke up drenched in sweat. I kicked off the covers and stood up. Why would Percy tie me up? Is he trying to help Luke? Luke... he was the one who had called for help in the end. What did he want? Was he hurt? Could I still save him?

A ship whistle blew somewhere.

"Good morning passengers! We'll be at sea all day today. It is excellent weather for a swim. Don't forget about bingo! Tonight at the Kraken Lounge. It's at one o'clock. And for all you special guests disemboweling practice is at noon on the main area."

Disemboweling practice? Kraken Lounge? Special guests? Is Percy okay? We need to get off this ship!

I ran over to the door of my room that joined Percy's.

"Disemboweling practice?" I asked.

Percy sat up in his bunk. His hair was a mess, he had just woken up by the announcement.

"We need to investigate and leave this ship."

After a few minutes we were all dressed and ready to go. In the hallways regular mortal were walking around. Seniors went to breakfast, a dad was taking his kids to the pool, and uniformed officer tipped his hat at a passenger. Something wasn't right. No one saw us or noticed us. It was like we were invisible.

"We are on a cruise. We are having tons of fun." a dad told his kids.

"Yes we are." the three kids said in unison.

"Percy this isn't right. They are all in some kind of trance." I said as we walked by the cafeteria. I looked in and saw a hellhound. It was eating pancakes out of the buffet. The weirdest things was that a family stood right beside the hellhound waiting their turn.

"Not hungry anymore." Tyson muttered.

Behind us a reptilian voice slithered. "Six more joined yesterday."

I gestured to the womens restroom to hide. Tyson and Percy weren't really that embarrassed. None of us really wanted to fight monsters right now.

"Yes, soon we will be stronger." Another reptilian voice responds.

"We have to get out of here." I said turning to Percy.

"You think I want to be in the girls' bathroom?" Percy said.

"I mean the ship Percy! We need to get off!"

"Smells bad in there. Bad doggies ate all the eggs. Annabeth is right. We need to leave." Tyson said scuffling his feet.

Then another voice walked by.

"It's only a matter of time Agrius!" It was Luke's.

"I know. I am just saying if this doesn't pay off-"

"It'll work. They will take the bait. Now let's go check the casket." Luke snapped.

"Leave now?" Tyson whimpered. Percy and I looked at each other and came to a silent agreement.

"We can't buddy. We need to find out what Luke is up to."

We ended up going back to our suites and gathering up our things. I put my knife in it's sheath and put my invisibility cap in my pocket.

We wandered the halls aimlessly, looking for where they kept the casket. It had at least been half an hour when I heard someone behind us. I pushed Tyson and Percy into a broom closet and shut the door.

"Did you see the drakon in the hold?"

"Yeah! It's awesome!" a familiar voice replied. I squeezed Percy's arm. It was Chris.

As soon as they were down the hallway I turned to Percy.

"That was Chris Rodriguez! From Cabin Eleven."

"What is another half-blood doing here?" Percy asked.

I shook my head and open the broom closet door.

We continued down the hallway. On this ship it didn't have any maps on the walls, so we had no idea where anything was. We continued down the hallway until we came to a glass wall. Below us was a canyon. At the bottom was the Promenade full of shops. I didn't really care for the shops, a group of monsters is what caught my attention.

"Percy look." I said pointing below us.

There was at least two hundred monsters below us, ranging from Laistrygonian giants, hellhounds, and scythian dracaenae. Scythian dracaenae are not the kind of monsters that you want to meet. Not that you would want to meet any at all. From the waist up they were human, from the waist down they were lizard or something.

As horrible as two hundred monsters in one area sounds, I saw something even worse. In the middle of the monster's circle was a guy around our age attacking a straw dummy. The dummy had a Camp Half-Blood t-shirt on. As the guy continued to hack at the dummy the monsters cheered him on.

"Let's go." Percy said pulling my arm.

Five minutes later we came to a set of large, oak, french doors.

"Voices inside." Tyson muttered. Than Tyson did something that scared me beyond words. He changed his voice perfectly to match Luke's. "-the prophecy ourselves. The fools won't know which way to turn."

Then Tyson changed his voice again. "You really think the old horseman is gone?"

"No one can trust him. Not with all the things he's keeping in his closet. Poisoning the tree was the last straw."

"Stop it Tyson that's creepy!" I said.

"No keep going." Percy said.

"Quiet!" Luke's friend said.

"Are you sure?" Luke whispered.

"Yes, they are right outside."

I gasped.

"Run!" Percy yelled.

Before we could do anything the oak doors swung open and Luke and two giants came out. The two giants pointed spears at us. We were trapped.

"Well," Luke smiled. "If it isn't my two favorite cousins. Come on in."
