After being recruited in The Resistance, Gadget didn't knew what to expect from now on.
Would he go to Recon Missions?
Would he be fight?
Even when he wanted to denie it, he was scared, a lot. The Though of fighthing the one that conquered his world was bonechilling.
But he believed that there was hope.
Location:Underground Base (Avenue Park) - 8 PM
Gagdet was sittinng on one of the metal chairs that the base got, he didn't knew much about the base yet, so he was on the Computer Room.
He seemed to got something in his hands.
Gadget POV
This Grapple Hook...maybe i could stand a chance if i finally fix it...but the amount of problems it has caused when tested is...too much.
"*sigh*"
I can't give up just now...maybe if i change this here...and...fix this...

Normal POV
"Huh? -gets up and looks at the Grapple Hook- did it worked?"
After trying to fire it, grabbing the ceiling without problem, a slight smile appeared on his face.
After recoiling it, he started thinking that now he may be useful enough.
It was time for him to help his world, and who knows, maybe he would be a hero!...no, that was over dreaming.
Through the heavy metal door, Knuckles appeared, with a slight smile on his face, that made Gadget curious.
"Hey rookie, i'm glad i found you here, because is time for your first mission with us!"
"W-what?, already...?"
"Yup, but don't worry, i'm sure you will do just fine!"
The Anxiety and Fear that was inside Gadget started to show now.
He got fear that with just a Grapple Hook he wouldn't be able to destroy some robots, he could always use Melee Attacks, but those were weak.
"Oh, yeah i almost forgot, come with me"
Obediently, Gadget followed Knuckles through the hallways until they reached a small room with capsules on it.
The Capsules were full of Squid like creatures.
At the side if them there were some strange weapons of various colors.
"Um...what are those?" said one when a red one started floating above his head.
"This are the Wisps, they can use different powers, from a lazer, to turning enemies into cubes."
Gadget found that interesting... But he started to got some questions:From where did they came from?, How did they discovered them?, Do they have an origin?...wait, those are the same question.
"After one of our adventures, they came from they homeworld because they loved the place, using Tails translator we could know what they have to say, and they offered to lend us their power!"
A slight smile appeared on Knuckles as he opened one of the capsules and a yellow wisp came out, orbitating around him.
"Anyway, the reason i bringed you here was for this" said Knuckles as he gets a red weapon in his hands.
"This is a Wispon, using this we can use thr power of the Wisps to attack the Empire." Gadget slowy reaches for the "Wispon" as a Red Wisp gets inside, startling him for a second.
"Is time for your mission Rookie!"
Said Knuckles, cheerful.
Location:Avenue Park - Avenue S13
Gadget was once again in the town he was born, again in Ruins of fire and debris.
He was standing atop a small house near Avenue S13, a place he always used to visit.
"...I will do this...I will be a hero..."
Said Gadget, in a confident voice, in that moment, his communicator starts ringing.
"According to the radar, there are some life forms ahead of us, go there and report what you see" said Tails through the communicator.
"...Got it"
"Please don't be scared, i'm sure you will do just fine!"
Even though Tails told him that, his fears just won't go away...but even then, he needed to continue with the mission.
Using his Grapple Hook he got out of the rooftop, and started running down the street.
He saw how the Eggman robots were walking and marching along the street, when they saw Gadget, they quickly changed to battle mode.
Quickly, Gadget got out his Wispon, and with a simple move, a flametrower came out of it, burning the robots.
He was surprised that this power was in a weapon so small, but he couldn't just stay there, he needed to move on with the mission.
Reaching to the Main Street of the town, with some burned down advertisements and signals, he could see some more robots, but this ones were different from the others he just defeated.
The ones he defeated where small and round, with the Dr Eggman face in their body, and a smile made by crystals on their body.
This ones were a lot bigger and purple, and were faster too, because since they saw him, they were very fast to attack him.
Gadget dodges them quickly, but they almost bit him.
"I need to think of something..."
Looking at his right arm, he sees the Grapple Hook, and with a quick movement he activates it, launching it to one of the robots.
The Grapple Hook goes right through him, destroying it, Gadget then, with thr robot still on the grapple hook, launches it around the place hitting another robot.
"Wow rookie, you are doing great!" said Knuckles.
"You can keep this up, show them no mercy!" said Charmy
"The signal is getting stronger, continue!" said Amy
Gadget though that even when they saying compliments to him was good, he hasan't done much, and they could do all of this and maybe better.
Even then a slight smile appeared on his lips, and continued on his mission.
After some minutes he arrived to the place.
It was the parking lot of a Mall that Gadget used to go to find edible food.
The Signal came from there?
"Guys, i...have arrived to the destination" said Gadget through his communicator, something felt wrong.
"Yes, the signal seemed to came from where you are, do you see anything"? Said Knuckles.
Gadget turned his head around, with a bad feeling about all of this.
Didn't everyone was evacuated or ambushed?, how would be a life form here?
"i can't see anyone or anything"
But suddenly, a sound could be heard, it was an artificial sound that came from nowhere.
"W-Wait!, something is appearing!"
Said Gadget, as he could see something emerging from red cubes.
It was one of Eggman robots, but this one wasan't like the others.
It was green, with the shape or a cilinder and with big hands, he got the number "100 MKII" on it's chest, along with a Dr Eggman
The robot appeared completly, and walked down to Gadget.
"LIFEFORM DETECTED, MISSION START"
The robot used a hand, and tried to grab Gadget using his elastic hands, but Gadget found a way to avoid him, landing some feet away from him.
"Rookie, you can't let this thing grab you, show it who's boss!"
"Got it!" said Gadget, as he got up from the ground, and launching his Grapple Hook at the robot.
But the robot grabbed it with his hands, and started pulling Gadget to him, in a sense of panic, Gadget reached to his Wispon and activated it, throwing the flametrower to the robot.
The robot got burned out, but it didn't seemed to make any effect on him.
"ILLOGICAL, LIFE FORM IMCOMPATIBLR WITH ANALYSIS, STARTING BATTLE MODE"
Saying that, his hands turned into fists, that tried to attack Gadget, one of them attackes him, making him bouncr some foots away in the floor.
Already in the floor, he slowy got up, as the robot started to get close to him.He needed to find a way to destroy the robot.
His Wispon started to vibrate, until the Wisp that was inside came out, stared at him, and entered his body.
"H-Huh?!"
Gadget at first felt nothing, but suddenly a feel of adredaline got into his body, as his body merged and changed into an orange ball of light with spikes, he felt power cursing through his soul at an amazing rate.
"BURST" he screamed, making an explosion of fire, expanding in all directions and burning down the robot.
"D-D-DOESN'T COMPUTE, DOESN'T COMP-P-PUTE, I'M E-10o alpha..." after that, the robot shut down as his wires were burned.
After that, the Wisp came out, and Gadget started to felt dizzy after that adrenaline rush.
"Seems like you defeated it, congratulations rookie, come back!"
"H-huh?...oh, OK!" said Gadget, as he smiled.
His first mission was done, maybe he didn't did much progress of any sort, but he felt great.
He felt that this was the first step to reach out and save his world.
After fixing his Grapple Hook unto his hand, he starts running.
Mission Acomplished!
