Avenue Park - Resistance Base (Dusk)
Gadget finally arrived back at the base, he got some problems to remember the entrance, but he finally arrived, and was now on the elevator.
He was pale and tired, because he needed to avoid a lot of robots when coming back, maybe Eggman already got notice of The Resistance?...he hoped he hasan't yet.
The elevator reaches an stop, the brown metal door opens, and he enters the base.
Now he could have an actual look at it.
At arriving down the elevator, you are greeted with three paths.
One reaches to some rooms.
The other reaches to the Computer Room.
And the other one reaches to a small room where you could get some food.
It was a comfy place for what it was.
Gadget walked to the Main Room, where everyone was, as they seemed to be happy about something.
"Hey rookie"-said Knuckles, going closer to Gadget- "You did very well in your last mission!, we are impressed!"
"Thanks, i guess"-answers Gadget, without giving much though to what Knuckles said.
He wasan't used to compliments.
"But there is still a lot to do, so you should rest for now"
Feeling a bit more relaxed, he chose to go his room and get some sleep, or maybe do something fun.
Already there, he puts his mission stuff at the side of his bed, and rests his body on it.
He needed to reflect on everything that had happened until that point.
The World was conquered, his town destroyed, his friends has been lost, maybe dead.
But him...
Is now with A Resistance.
This is so sudden to him...will he acomplish the missions?, will he fail at the next day?
Leaving his glasses at his side, he gets ready to sleep, and rise tomorrow with full strenght...maybe.
A New Hero is born frim between the debris of a quiet city.
Yet what happened to the blue hero, was he truly defeated by the Dr Eggman?
Above the skies and the clouds, there existed an spaceship, created by the hands of a genius, now a dictator.
Hundreds of Mobians were trapped in prisons, soon to be Mechanized into Pawns.
From Chipmunks to Hawks, from Crocodriles to Bunnies, but...only one Hedgehog in there.
Sonic the Hedgehog was in his own cell, away from everyone else.
He was chained by handcuffs in both his hands and feet, he looked pale, like he hasan't seen the sun in a long time.
Yet even when he was there, trapped like a pet, or even worse, a slight smile was on his face.
Roaming around the place there were four jackals, known as the Jackal Squad.
They seemed to server not Eggman, but the Monster that helped him.
They guarded the place for any outbreaks, and they worked as one.
Sonic mind snapped out of his trance, when one of them was in front of his cell, just watching him.
"Seems like you still there" said the Jackal.
He got a bandana on his neck, and a strap on his forehead, he also seemed to have a mark at the top of his nose.
"Heh, that's ok, if you ever get out of there the boss is gonna kill me, and i am his favorite"
The tone of the Jackal was casual, something that confused Sonic a bit, yet he stayed quiet, and just though it was kinda funny.
"Y'know, if the cimcurstances were different, i would be your friend!, you are "him" after all, he...but oh well, that's not how it is" saying that, he makes an eletric knife appear, and strikes the ground near Sonic with a thunderbolt.
Sonic gets a bit startled by this.
"Stay Sharp" and after saying that, he leaved.
Sonic though this was suspicious, why one of the Jackals said he wanted to be his friend?...was it a trap?, a joke?
But he didn't really cared about it, what was important is that he needed to get out of there, even if he tried to do it during a year, he needed to keep trying.
And something was telling him that his time was near.
