"What is going on?" Peter asked Derek, demanding to know and now.
"I kissed her." Derek said, avoiding eye contact.
"YOU WHAT?" Peter said right as I walked into the room.
"You told him?" I said, looking at Derek beyond angry.
"Sorry."
"No, Derek. Enough. You tried killing me. You've tried hunting me. You've suddenly changed and are trying to help and then you go and kiss me? It does NOT work like that. I love Scott and you knew that." I say, starting to cry because I'm so enraged.
"I'm sorry, okay?" Derek said.
"Get out." I say, pointing towards the door.
"What?" Derek asked.
"Get out, Derek." I say. Derek doesn't say anything and heads for the door. Peter starts to follow. They leave and I continue to clean out of anger and bitterness. I shouldn't have been so harsh on him, but what else was I supposed to do. He kissed me and he knew that I love Scott. I guess it was just an initial reaction to be so upset, but I feel so guilty now. I mean, I didn't need to be that harsh. Everyone makes mistakes, and that was one of his. But seriously? I have a reason to be so angry, right? I continue cleaning and look at the clock.
"SHIT!" I say, running down the stairs. It was 2:30. I have to start getting ready for graduation. I grab my keys and get ready to leave when I open the door and all my friends are standing there.
"We thought it may be easier to just get ready here." Ariel said.
"Uhh yeah. Right. Uhmm...how?" I say.
"We brought them to us." Aly said, pointing to some of the hair and makeup people from downtown.
"Ohh thank you!" I say, looking at her. Now that everyone was here, I totally forgot about Derek and the kiss. That is, until Scott asked where Derek was. I tried to ignore the question, but it didn't work.
"He and Peter left a little while ago." I say, making it sweet and simple.
"Okay. I guess I'll give them a call and tell them where their seats are tinight." Scott said, pulling out his phone. I tried not to let it bother me, but it did.
"Great!" I say, trying to hide my non-excitement. Ariel, Aly, Allison, Lydia, Kira, and myself all head upstairs to change.
"Oh my god Kira! I love your dress!" I say, smiling at her.
"Thank you. I like yours, too. It's gorgeous." Kira says.
"Your dress is super pretty too, Allison." I say.
"And youres, Lydia." Aly said.
"Thanks." They say in unison.
"Which one?" Ariel said, holding up 2 dresses.
"Hmmm...I think the one on the right." I say, admiring the dress.
"I agree." Aly said.
"Me too." Kira said.
"The green one it is!" Ariel said, putting it on.
"Aly, where's your dress?" I say, looking at her.
"I couldn't get one." She said, looking like she was ready to cry.
"I'll lend you one." I say, opening my closet door.
"Or you could borrow mine." Ariel said, holding out her other dress option.
"Thanks." Aly said, getting up to look in my closet.
"I think you should wear this one." I say, pulling out one of my favorites. It was a strapless, knee high dress, white ruffles on the bottom and basic black designs on the top half with a thicker black ribbon going around just a little higher than the waist.
"I love it. But I also like this one." ALy said, pulling out a really rich color purple, knee high, sparkled dress.
"Your choice." I said, smiling. I was happy to help my friends out.
"What do you girls think?" Aly said, turning to Allison, Ariel, Lydia, and Kira.
"I think the black and white." Kira said.
"Purple." Ariel said.
"Purple." Allison said.
"Black and white." Lydia said.
"Looks like its up to you." I say, smiling.
"I'll go with black and white. Thanks." Aly said, looking at me, smiling. I don't think he smile could get much bigger. I was just so happy that she was able to pick out a gorgeous dress. We finished getting dressed and head downstairs where the hair and makeup ladies were waiting for us. The guys were goofing off and weren't paying much attention to us at all.
"There is food in the kitchen if anyone wants." I say, as I'm coming down the stairs. The guys stopped and watched us as we walked down the steps.
"You look amazing." Scott said, smiling at me.
"Thank you. So do you." I say, straightening out his tie.
"You look beautiful, Kira." Brian said.
"Thank you. You look great." Kira said, blushing. She looks at me and I smile.
"You look stunning." Stiles said to Aly.
"Thanks hun. You do too." Aly said, kissing him. I could tell that she was blown away that he thought she looked stunning.
"You look gorgeous." Isaac said to Ariel.
"Thank you. You look so great." Ariel said, kissing him.
"Let's do this." I say, getting the girls together so we can continue with getting our hair and makeup done.
