This is the last chaper in this fanfic, Class of 2016. This chapter will be coming from my journal that I've started to keep since graduation night.
It has been a week since graduation. Everyone is still kind of in shock at what's happened. I know that I haven't seen Derek since that night. I haven't told Scott about it, and I've pushed him away for a while. As much as it hurt me, I knew it had to be done. I really just needed some time to myself, without a boyfriend. Not for a long time, but just enough to get my head back on straight.
Ariel and Aly have moved in with me for a while, just to get away from it all. They still chose to have Isaac and Stiles around, and I don't know why. I guess it's maybe just that sense of having someone there to catch them when they feel like falling. I know we're all still hurting from what happened at graduation, but we can't go back and change the past. If we could, we already would have. Life isn't fair, and I think we all took that lesson away from this year and graduation night. Sure, it sucks that Brian won't be here to experience all the great things life has in store for him and all of us, but he'll still be with us in our hearts.
We're planning on going on a roadtrip this summer, hopefully sometime in the next week or so. Scott, Lydia, Ariel, Isaac, Kira, Aly, and myself. We just want to move on and get out of this town. Bittersweet memories here, and we want to make some new memories before we all head our seperate ways in the fall for college. Yes, we are splitting up after this summer, but I'm sure we'll still be just as good of friends as we always have been.
Getting out of this town does have many mixed feelings, but I think it'll be for the best. I mean, I don't feel like I'm leaving anything important behind because there's been many more bad memories than good memories. I know that I want a fresh start, and leaving is the way to do it. I've been accepted to 2 colleges, but I don't know which one I'm going to yet. I should probably decide, and soon.
Well, I'm packing up for this roadtrip and I'm not getting much down by writing in my journal. I better go and finish. I'll write soon once we're on the road.

Hey guys, I really hope you have enjoyed this fanfic. It was so exciting to write and get new ideas and I'm so happy that so many people enjoyed it. I will be writing a sequel to this called 'The Summer After' if anyone is interested in reading that one, too. I may start writing, and not be able to finish posting over the summer so it may just be started, and then posted next September.
