Elle paid close attention to the beautiful brunette draped in black, her slender silhouette floating along the faux grassed pastures of her finely crafted background, her face stoic, as if her feet wasn't bleeding into the tall heels that came with her characters costume.

Anger bubbled in the young actress, irritating her with questions and frustration as she wondered how Angelina had cut her feet when the older woman was normally so careful, especially since they've gotten back in the States. Elle ran her long pale fingers through her hair, feeling the buildings cool air conditioned wind caress her skin, the air not cold enough to cool down that priking anger that poked at her intuition, alerting her of something deeper than what Angelina had explained to her earlier.

Her scene was over an hour ago but instead of leaving Elle sat in a chair that had her name stitched on the back of it on a thick black fabric in white thread, reading the script she had already memorized. Sapphire eyes peeked over the stack of papers she held onto, analyzing the woman that consumed every cravice of her mind like she usually did.

"And that's a cut! Amazing Angelina, we'll re-film tomorrow but I'm sure these shots will do."

The blonde could see her auburn haired lover winch in pain, although the crack that broke her perfect happy persona was short lived. Elle took note of the change, however slight, in her lovers walk and posture. Elle's frustration forced a sigh out of her rose lips, small hands slamming the script onto the table near her, not caring to turn and see when it landed.

Her crystal eyes remained glued to the woman that once again avoided her glances as she approached the table that Elle sat near.

The blonde stood up, getting out of the chair as Angelina walked closer, her emerald eyes aimed at the display of water bottles that sat to the far left of the table in a bath of ice cubes that were half melted. Her fingers wrapped around Angelina's arm softly, the thick layers of her Maleficents costume bunching under her hold.

They were facing opposite direction, Elle's eyes were toward the set that Angelina had just walked off of, sapphires watching the rest of staff that was distracted with cleaning up the set and getting ready to leave that no one had the time to even notice both women's interaction. Elle took that opportunity to draw in deathly close to the exquisite beauty near her, blossom lips nearly touching the older actress's ear as she spoke the question she's been wanting to ask all day.

"I need to talk to you tonight Angelina..."

The brunette held her breath, her instinctive urge to give into what ever this stunning woman wanted from her fought with her minds rational desire to handle whatever it was that Brad had threatened her with earlier that morning.

"Elle," she spoke breathlessly, her eyes looking straight ahead. Angelina knew that if she turned and even caught a glimpse of her enchanting lover she would crack and give into everything and anything the beautiful starlet desired.

"...Please Angelina," Elle drew in closer, kissing the warm blushed skin of Angelina's ear and removing her hand from around the beauty's arm. She paused, her lips still against the brunettes ear, and spoke once more, "please baby." This time Angelina was the one that attempted to grab onto some sort of control, mentally.

"Okay," her raspy voice sounded reluctant.

Elle moved back as she watched Angelina finally turn her emerald eyes toward her, a head covered in long horns turning in the same direction as well.

"I can't stay late though, I have to spend that night with my babies."

"Of-course, I understand. I just need a few minutes that's all. Maybe dinner?"

Angelina contemplated the offer for a short few seconds before nodding in agreement.

...

LATER THAT NIGHT

- b a r

Both women drove to the location in separate cars, keeping a low profile by parking on opposite spots of the lot, as suggested by older woman found a seat earlier than Elle did so she was graced with the sight of her younger lover walking down the dimly lit lanes of the large restaurant.T

heblonde was dressed in simple white highwaisted skinny jeans and a white Nike turtle neck top that clung to every curve of her body. She had on black Nike sneakers along with a white Chanel bag that hung by her right side. She had on dark shades and a clear face that looked dewy and clean.

The blonde smirked after viewing her lovers mesmerized gaze that traced over every edge of her figure slowly climbing to her face.

"Enjoying the view?" Elle joked, grabbing a seat across from Angelina.

The brunette coughed embarrassed, taking a sip from the glass of water that was identical to the one in front of Elle.

"Sorry," she whispered to the stunning blonde that seemed to be staring into her soul, causing her temperature to rise.

"No need to apologise, I'm all yours Angelina."

The older woman smiled but was bombarded by what happened earlier that morning, the menacing words Brad had told her... "Don't do anything stupid, Angelina. You wouldn't want to start any drama for our 'perfect' family... Whoever they are let them know before I do."

"...aby baby are you okay," Elle's voice filtered through her ears like evenings after glow, so warm and gentle that the brunette nearly mistook it for an unearthly sound.

"Yes...?"

"Are you okay?" Her lovers voice was soaking with concern.

"I am... I'm so sorry Elle I just don't think I could do dinner tonight," she was frantic, springing up from her chair, the fast movement causing the table to wobble a little.

"Wow wow what's wrong?" Elle rose as well, both her hands holding on to Angelina's arms, stopping her.

"Nothing, I just need to go Elle."

"No!" Elle wasn't expecting herself to be so angry at this but she was. The young actress knew deep down that Angelina was hiding something from her and it was really pissing her off, especially when this behavior is so goddamn new. And Angelina got hurt today as well, everything was just not making sense to her at all.

"You need to sit down and talk to me...please" her voice softened as she continued to speak.

A warm hand caressed her cheek softly, cupping the right side of her face.

"Everything is so unclear to me too I just need ti..."

Her heart sped and without thinking it through Elle roughly pulled Angelina into her, their lips crashing against one another. The blonde poured get frustration and love into the kiss, deciding to full red lips that spoke words she didn't want to hear it the moment. Her long nap crept down Angelina's back, feeling the soft cotton of her long sleeved black top and tip toeing over the blue jeans she wore. Her hands cupped the womans ass brazenly. She gently nibbled Angelina's lips pulling reluctantly it off the long kiss. They were panting as both women looked into one another eyes, they're bodies pressed against one another in the back of the dim sushi bar, both holding onto one another desperately.

"If there's anything that's bothering you please let me know Angelina, you're so important to me I can't afford to lose any bit of you, please."

"You won't," Angelina pecked Elle's lips, removing her arms that crept around the blondes neck during their heated kiss. "But I need to figure this out before I can even tell you anything. Please understand."

Elle sighed, she was getting no answers but it wasn't as if she could force it anymore than she's been doing. Angelina looked at her watch then quickly sunk into deep foggy sapphires that inaudibly begged her to stay.

"I have to go."

"Be careful please and take care of your feet you've been winching in pain all day," Elle's voice could barely be heard as she intertwined their fingers, staring down at their hands.

"I will," she kissed Angelina after she spoke those words knowing the love of her life would be leaving.

"Goodbye beautiful," the brunette smiled softly kissing Elle's rosy cheeks before rushing out the restaurant.

There, in the middle of that restaurant, stood Elle conflicted and strangely lonely. She knew she was being left in the dark but about what?
