Yo! Here's a new story preview that relates to Zangetsu!

In the deserted city of Tokyo-3 the military was stationed on roads and such ready to combat something that was on its way. That was when something rose from the red ocean as when it did the Military began to open fire.

Said monster was a enormous humanoid creature. It had large bone structures on the shoulders and torso, a gill-like structure on the legs, has three claw-like fingers, a core red core in the middle of the torso, and very distinctive face.

As the military fired upon the creature there attacks did nothing to stop it as they were powerless. But unknown to them someone was watching the battle.

Standing at the top of a random building was a young man who looks 17, wearing a black suit, white shirt and a green tie. He had brown hair and gray eyes as well.

"So this is an Angel huh?" the young man said while he gripped something in his pocket. Before he could take whatever it was out, time around him stopped, the young man looked around to see what was going on until…

"Yo." the young man looked to see an older looking man wearing a clorful shirt, a red headband and bright blue pants.

"Sagara." the young man said.

"Been a while Shinji." the man known as Sagara said to the young man Shinji.

"Your still the same as I met you." Shinji said.

"Yeah well to me; your still the same kid as I met 13 years ago." Sagara countered refering to his face.

"I guess that's fair." Shinji sighed in annoyance. "Care to tell me what that Angel is?"

"Very well." Sagara said before looking at the Angel. "That is the Angel Sachiel; Angel of Water." Sagara then pointed at Sachiel. "That big red dot is the weak point, so I suggest that you avoid the attacks and weaken it by hitting the core before killing it."

"I gotcha." Shinji nodded. "And besides, defeating the Angel will be a step foward to take down SEELE."

"I still love your courage kid." Sagara said.

"Thank you, now if you excuse me; I shall kill Sachiel now." Shinji said before taking out a belt buckle with a dagger-like lever on the right and a faceplate of a white armored helmet in front of a slightly darker white background. Shinji then placed it on his waist and a yellow belt formed around him.

"Good luck kid." Sagara said before leaving and time returned to normal and Sachiel continued it's rampage.

Shinji then took out a lock with a Melon on it.

"Henshin."

He pressed the button on the lock.

"MELON!"

A giant zipper portal opened above Shinji's head with a giant green sphere before Shinji tossed the Lock up in the air before catching it. He quickly caught it before placing it in and locking it.

"LOCK ON!"

Soon the horn-like sound was starting playing. Shinji soon puts his hand on the knife-shaped lever and pushed it down.

"SOIYA!"

The metal melon dropped upon Shinji's head.

"MELON ARMS! TENKA GOMEN!"

The white bodysuit formed first and then the helmet formed within the confines of the metal melon. The gauntlets and greaves gleamed gold with black lines rising up his arms and legs. The melon splashed with green energy before opening, the front section coming together in green plating with gold accents. The sides folded together to form shoulder plating, but remained slightly separated to give the image of spikes. The back pieces landed on the back, finishing the armor.

His helmet was revealed to have large eyepieces with a silver mouthplate and a gold crescent moon on the forehead. The helmet attachment was designed like the skin of a melon with gold siding like a samurai helmet and a melon stem coming from the top. The attachment had caused the eyes to turn green, giving them a look not unlike a slice of melon. Flash of light appeared over his left arm, creating a large shield with a golden centre ending in a crescent moon with gold siding and a round disk on the top. The rest was covered in the same textured green as the Melon Arms.

This is Kamen Rider Zangetsu Melon Arms.

Zangetsu looks at Sachiel before he takes out a different looking Lockseed with a dandelion on it, he opened the lock before tossing it and it turned into a hover-bike. Zangetsu jumped onto the Dandeliner and he stood on it then flew towards Sachiel. But while he was flying by, he flew above a blue renevolt which came to a halt.

"What was that?" a violet haired woman asked as she looked out from her window to show she was dressed in a military uniform with a NERV badge on it before she saw the person go after the Angel. "Whoever he is he's nuts to want to fight the Angel with only a sword, but I have to find Shinji Ikari first." the woman said before she drove off to locate Shinji.

Zangetsu flew up high in the air and then flew towards some VTOL's carrying a bomb which he reconized as an N2 mine. Zangetsu decided to head towards the aircraft that's leading them and when he got there, he knocked on the window and the pilot of the VTOL was surprised to see someone flying in the air. The pilot rolled down the window which made Zangetsu have the opertunity to speak.

"An N2 mine is not gonna kill it." Zangetsu warned while his voice was different, it sounded more like an adult.

"How are you-!?

"So fly away and let me handle it." Zangetsu interupted the pilot then flew towards Sachiel.

(NERV base)

"I want a status report now!" One of the generals demanded they knew that things aren't looking good for the city now but they at least want know how much destruction there has been.

"Sir, the Angel stopped it seems to be distracted by something!" The technician explained. In the command seat was a middle-aged man with a beard, tinted glasses, and a dark jacket. He was sitting thinking about this anomaly. Nothing can at least get its' attention one of the Evangelions.

"Distracted? What the hell could distract it when even our units couldn't even grab at least one full minute of its attention?" One of the general stated in surprise. "Get us a visual on what the hell could be playing cat and mouse with it!"

"Yes, Sir!" the technician stated and in a few seconds the monitor showing the a white warrior wearing some melon based armor on some type of hovercraft avoiding the Angels hands.

"What the hell? We have no time for vigilantes, what the hell is he thinking!?" Another general stated before they heard a…

"MELON SPARKING!"

Zangetsu's Melon Defender glowed bright green and threw it and when he did, holographic melons appeared and the Melon Defender landed on a few of them and they went towards the Angel. The Melons then exploded on it when they landed thus damaging it.

"But where in the world did he obtain a hovercraft or a shield causing significant damage to it?" Ritsuko asked and at the same time she was fascinated with some of Zangetsu's equipment.

"Commander, what do you think we should?" Vice-Commander Fuyutsuki asked. Gendo thought a little on it before coming to a decision.

"At this point I don't care if the Third hasn't shown we'll launch Eva-01 with the First as the pilot despite her injuries."

Zangetsu landed on a building rooftop and Sachiel was behind him, the building was tall enough to reach it's chest. Zangetsu dodged a karate chop from Sachiel and took off the Melon Lockseed.

"LOCK OFF!"

He then placed it on the Musou Saber.

"LOCK ON!"

"1-0-0-0!"

Sachiel slammed it's hand to kill him, but Zangetsu used his lightspeed to avoid the attack and he got onto it's right arm then ran towards it's core.

"MELON CHARGE!"

Zangetsu jumped and slashed the core causing pain to Sachiel before it released it's AT Field and pushed Zangetsu FAR AWAY with it.

Zangetsu flew pretty far away and he landed on his back onto the ground, thankfully the armor protected him from the fall.

"Damn you." Zangetsu said as he stood up and took out a Lockseed with a watermellon on it.

"SUIKA!"

Suddenly a zipper portal opened above him and a MASSIVE watermelon appear above his head. Zangetsu then placed the Lockseed onto his Sengoku Driver.

"LOCK ON!"

Zangetsu soon activated his Cutting Blade and cuts the Suika Lockseed. The Lockseed was split open to reveal the red inside on the top, and a double-ended sword styled after a watermelon on the bottom half.

The massive watermelon came down and crashing down on top of him, making people thinks he's killed.

"SOIYA! SUIKA ARMS! ODAMA BIG BANG!"

The Suika Arms then started rolling around and it then rolled a pile of rubble, it was fast of enough to use the rubble as a ramp and the Suika Arms flew towards Sachiel and striked it in the face.

"YOROI MODE!"

The Suika Arms shifted the shell of the watermelon shifting and sliding, reforming into the image of a large suit of armor with green shoulder pads, chest, and legs with darker green armor. Gripped in its hand was a doubled-bladed sword styled like watermelon slices. Zangetsu's body could be seen within the armor, controlling it easily. The head on the top was dome-shaped with a large gold and red decoration like a samurai's helmet. A visor was on the face, but inside was Zangetsu's helmet with the visor colored like a watermelon slice. This is Kamen Rider Zangetsu's Suika Arms!

Zangets blocked an slam from Sachiel using the sharp end of his weapon and he used his speed once more to dodge an attack and to head towards it's core again but the Angel used it's AT Field to push him away again. Zangetsu landed safely onto the ground and when he stood tall, he noticed…

'A little girl!?'Zangetsu though before he shook of the thought to check if she's alright. From the looks of it, she's still alive but is injured and she's breathing. Zangetsu held her up and looked to see Sachiel heading towards the two and he noticed another ramp made of rubble.

"Time to finish this."

"ODAMA MODE!"

Zangetsu went into Odama Mode and took the little girl into the watermellon, he then pulled the Cutting Blade thrice.

"SUIKA SPARKING!"

The Suika Arms spun afoward while it glowed into a mixture of green and red, it then rolled at a very high speed and it rolled towards the ramp making it fly towards Sachiel. Before Sachiel could activate it's AT Field, the Suika Arms striked it's core making a hole, the Suika Arms then went miles away from it and it was replaced with Zangetsu, in his Melon Arms, with the girl in his arms and he landed gracefully before Sachiel exploded.

Zangetsu then placed the girl onto a bench and Shinji took his place, he went into his coat and took out a syringe gun with some purple liquid. Shinji injected it into the girl and she glowed a bit and her injuries are gone.

"That should do it." he said with a smile and the girl opened her eyes, which made Shinji think she was awake all along.

"Thank you…" she said.

"No problem." he said with a smile. "Could you keep my face a secret? Since I'm practically a super hero and all."

"Okay…" the girl said honestly.

"And if you have any friends or family that's close; tell them that Kamen Rider Zangetsu saved you." Shinji said before taking out a Lockseed with a cherry blossom on it. He pressed the button on it and it formed into a motorcycle. He put on his helmet and rode away to meet the woman his bastard father sent him to meet, but as he rode away he had one thought on his mind… 'Now that was some Sonic The Hedgehog attack.'

Everyone was surprised that one person defeated the Angel without an EVA but they all cheered because as long the Angel was dead, they didn't care. Gendo however had one thought. "This was not a part of the scenario.' he thought gripping the railings with some blood coming onto it.
