Infinite Kingdom Hearts
Ichika opened the door into a bit brighter hallway, along the walls were what looked like giant bulbs. He looked around the room for a while before Ichika looked at two of the pods and saw two faces inside them. Whatever they were, they sure weren't human. The first one was short, with a face that looked like a duck with a blue beret on top. The second one was tall, his face was doggish, with an orange, odd-looking hat on top. If he had had to guess, they seemed a bit cartoony in ways.
Ichika examined them before knocking on their pods.
"I guess-."
Then to his surprise, the pods started opening before the two people fell out. The duck landed on his butt first before the dog landed next, immediately waking the duck up.
"G-Get off of me!" The duck said.
"Sorry." the dog got up off of the duck and looked around. "Gwarsh, where are we?"
"I don't remember ever being here before." the duck squawked as it jumped down to the ground and trip over in drowsiness.
The dog noticed Ichika before he approached him
"Howdy." he greeted the male IS pilot. "Do ya happen to know where we are?"
"I'm trying to find out myself." Ichika said before looking at the two. "I'm Ichika, by the way."
"I'm Goofy."
"Donald Duck."
The two looked at each other, and then they gasped.
"Wait, where's Sora?!" Donald exclaimed.
"Sora?" Ichika asked.
"Do ya think he's awake, too?" Goofy asked, ignoring Ichika. They looked down the corner of the hallway, where they saw a big door, and they charged in.
There were doors was a big room, with a large white dome covering it. In the center was another bulb, but it was much larger than the others, and more technologically advanced. The interior was not see-through like Donald's and Goofy's.
Donald and Goofy were staring at it.
"Sora!" cried Donald.
"Sora, wake up!" Goofy called out. For a while, the three didn't hear a response. Then suddenly they heard more mechanical noises. The large bud-like machine flashed through the grooves, then it started to open up like a lily in front of them, and inside was the first human they actually saw here. He was around Ichika's age, lanky, with light brown, spiky hair. His uniform looked a little too small for him.
He yawned and stretched as he woke up, and he saw Donald and Goofy and leapt out of the bulb and hugged the both of them.
"Donald, Goofy!" he greeted them as he got up. They started to jump in a circle together, laughing as they were reunited. Then another character came out from behind the boy. He was super small , with a bug-like face, and he had on a top hat, and a coat with a tux, and he even carried an umbrella.
"That was some nap." he yawned as he hopped down onto the ground.
"You mean, we were asleep?" the boy asked.
"I guess we musta been, or I don't think we'd be so drowsy..." he stated.
"When did ya' we went to sleep?" Goofy asked. Both Donald and the boy crossed their arms in thought. "Let's see," the boy recalled, "we defeated Ansem..."
"Yep," Goofy replied.
"...Restored peace to the world, found Kairi...oh yeah, and then we went to look for Riku. I think that's right so far?"
"Then what?" Donald asked.
They all pondered in thought before Goofy spoke up.
"What does your journal say, Jiminy?" the dog asked.
The bug, Jiminy pulled out a small book and looked at it.
"Gee, there's only one sentence: 'Thank Naminé'." Jiminy said, sounding surprised "Hm, I wonder who that is?" The trio of friends looked at each other before shaking their head in response.
"Some journal that is." moaned Donald. Jiminy looked doubtful for a second, then he thought of something.
"Well, what do ya say we find out where we are!" the cricket suggested.
Sora then noticed Ichika.
"Who are you?"
"He's a nice fella that we ran into when we woke up." Goofy explained.
"I'm Ichika."
"Sora."
Ichika, Sora, Donald and Goofy all walked up to the first floor, with Jiminy sitting on Sora's shoulder. After looking around, they discovered that they were in some sort of mansion, but it looked abandoned and wrecked. They stepped outside, where they discovered the front garden surrounded by walls, with a large opened gate out in front, leading outside.
"Finally, that place seemed a bit dusty." Ichika stretched his arms.
"Wonder how we got here." Jiminy wondered.
"Let's go, there's probably a town nearby." Sora guessed.
"Ahyuck! Alright, let's go." Goofy said.
The four then walked to a place called Twilight Town.
Ichika looked around.
"I hope the others haven't noticed my disappearance." Ichika said as he followed his new friends.
(At IS Academy)
"I wonder why Ichika wasn't in class all day." Houki said while she, Cecilia, Rin, Charlotte and Laura are walking in the dorms to check on him. They entered his dorm and found no sign of him...only an inactive Byakushiki without its master.
"That's strange." Charlotte said before picking up Byakushiki. "How come he isn't here but only his IS."
"What's going on here?" Chifuyu asked as she came in.
"Well...we were wondering if you know where Ichika is-."
"Haven't seen him and I get up pretty early." Chifuyu said.
The girls looked surprised.
"Nothing?"
Chifuyu shook her head.
"Phantom Task?" Laura asked
"Doubt it, no signs of a struggle here."
"Then where could he be?" Rin wondered.
"We're working on that so you girls can get back to class." Chifuyu said.
"But-."
"Back to class."
The girls did what she said and went back to class.
'I just hope he's okay.' they all thought.
(Twilight Town)
"ACHOO!" Ichika sneezed loudly.
"Something wrong?" Sora asked as the group wandered onto the Sandlot.
Ichika nodded.
"Yeah, I feel like someone was talking about me." he assured. Soon a group of young teens noticed them, Seifer had a pissed off look at Sora and the others.
"Hey you, where'd you come from?" Seifer demanded.
"Uhh…" Sora tried to find the right words.
"You here to pick a fight with us or something?" Seifer questioned.
"We don't even know you." Ichika responded.
"Yeah, you big palooka!" Donald snapped.
"Okay you smart alecks. Time to teach you how to behave in my town." Seifer said while he and his friends got into a fighting stance. "Bring it!"
"Man, what a jerk." Sora said while he got into a fighting stance.
'How come they're not bothered by the fact that there's a talking duck and dog?' Ichika thought before he shook it off, seeing as he'll think about it later, before he got into his own fighting stance.
"Hold it!" An older man said. The group and Seifer's group looked to see the man running their way before stopping. "If you're gonna fight, why not make it a proper Struggle?" the man suggested.
"What?" Seifer questioned, feeling annoyed.
"You see Seifer… I'm a really big fan." the man said.
Seifer seemed a bit surprised.
"What's Struggle?" Ichika whispered to Sora.
Sora only shrugged. Confused like he was.
"You handled the tournament with real style and you absolutely dominated the title match." the man said. "But I just can't get enough. Don't you see? The matches are far too short."
Ichika and Sora looked at the Struggle board and read the rules.
"So all we have to do is collect as many orbs as we can before time runs out?" Ichika said.
"From our opponent, but it also says we can use 'Struggle' weapons to fight the guy to collect orbs." Sora pointed out.
"I see."
"And what're your names?" the man asked the two who are reading the rules.
"My name is Sora."
"I'm Ichika."
Donald and Goofy sighed, they knew where this was going.
"Sora, Ichika, if you two wanna fight a match, just say the word." the man said.
"We'll keep that in mind." Sora said before he and the others went upstairs.
They soon noticed a spot beyond fences while Sora looked around here.
"You know...I think I've been here before." Sora said, sensing familiarity.
"Really?" Ichika asked.
"What's it called?" Donald added.
Sora thought about it for a second.
"Guess I must've imagined it." Sora walked ahead, the others looking confused at him, then followed.
They walked through a curtained door and found themselves inside a rickety little room. It had boxes and stuff just lying around. There were also three kids around Sora's age inside it. A guy with blond hair was sitting on a boiler of some kind. A chubby, black haired boy was leaning back on a box, and a girl with short brown hair was sitting with her hands holding her head up. They all looked either bored or were thinking about something, but they looked as the group walked in.
What do you want?" asked the blond-haired boy.
"Uh, nothing." Sora replied, "Just wondering what was back here."
"Well now you know." the guy retorted. "This is our spot."
"Sorry about intruding." Ichika said to them. The black haired boy got up and walked towards them, eyeing them at every angle. "What?"
"Your... new around here, right?" the boy asked as his friends walked next to him. "I'm Pence."
"Hayner. Nice to meet you." greeted the blonde boy. "But we got stuff to do, so catch ya later."
He walked away as the girl stepped forward. "My name's Olette." she said to them, "Hey, did you finish up the summer homework yet? Independent studies are the worst, huh?"
"Homework?" Sora asked, turning to the others, who shook their heads in response, having no idea what they were talking about.
'It's not even summer back in my world.' Ichika thought.
"Hey, what are your names?" Pence asked them.
"Oh, sorry. We're Sora, Donald, Ichika and Goofy." Goofy introduced, each of them bowing in response.
"Hey there." Sora greeted.
Pence and Olette looked at each other mouths slightly open, then they turned to them again.
"Sora, Donald, Goofy, we just met someone who was looking for you." Olette told them.
"He sure seemed in a hurry." Pence explained. "He had a black coat on so I couldn't see his face, but he had these big round ears." He drew a circle on each upper corner of his head.
'Big round ears?' Ichika thought.
"The King!" Donald exclaimed.
'They know a king?' Ichika thought in surprise.
"Where'd ya see him?" Sora asked.
"At the station." Pence responded.
"The station! Thanks!" thanked Sora.
"Well, we better get back to that assignment." Olette informed, and she walked off.
"Later!" said Pence, and he rushed off. The group watched as they took off.
"You guys know a King of all people?" Ichika asked, curious to know.
"We sure do," Goofy responded, "Ya see, me and Donald are the King's guards."
"Wow, sounds pretty important. But why are you here instead of protecting the king?" Ichika asked.
"Oh, don't worry." Donald comforted, "King Mickey is able to defend for himself."
"Besides," Goofy added, "We were sent on an important mission before on finding Sora."
"You're that important to a King?" Ichika looked at Sora.
"In a way, yeah!" Sora answered, smiling as he stood up straight, "Now let's go to the station."
They all nodded, and they left the shack. They charged up the hill in a frenzy. Sora, Donald and Goofy were in the lead, Ichika was not far behind.
"Where do they get this energy from?" Ichika said.
Finally, they got to the top, where they saw a tall clocktower with bells hanging on each side, and double-doors at the entrance.
They walked in the open area around it, and stared all around.
"Cool." Ichika commented on the surroundings and the big clock tower, since he's never saw one like that.
Suddenly a monster appeared out of nowhere in front of them. It looked human, except it was white with black stripes, strands instead of hands, and a empty hole into their body in their neck. They had no eyes, nose, ears or mouths. All they had was a strange cross symbol on their head.
More of the monsters appeared, each coming one after another, surrounding them. They moved around as if they were stretchy puppets. Donald summoned his magic staff out, while Goofy summoned his shield.
"What the heck are these things?" Ichika wondered.
"Never seen these guys before." Sora commented. He stared closely at the symbol on top of their heads, and thought it looked familiar. He shook his head and brought out his Keyblade, the Kingdom Key.
'His sword looks like mine.' Ichika thought after noticing the Kingdom Key. He remembered how to summons his sword, se he focused on his right hand and the Oathkeeper appeared.
"You have a Keyblade too!?" Sora exclaimed.
"It's a long story."
Sora stared at him, wondering who he really is, but he decided the enemies required better focus.
They each charged at the monsters individually. Sora slashed a few times with his sword on a couple of creatures, and they disintegrated. He stared back at Ichika, who was striking down one of them with his Oathkeeper.
Ichika noticed one of them was about to crawl up on him so he stabbed on, making it disintegrate. He also noticed that one of them, to his astonishment, was walking on mid air upside down.
"Thunder!" cried Donald's voice, and forks of lightning came from the sky and shot down onto the white creatures, knocking them back.
Ichika got back up to his feet as Donald waddled towards him. "How'd you do that?" He asked the duck.
"I'm a sorcerer!" Donald answered, waving his staff in the air.
"You mean you can use magic?" Ichika asked.
"Yup! Fire!" Donald fired a fireball with his staff at another creature, causing it to disappear.
Well that's handy." Ichika commented. He saw the other creature come at them, and with one swipe of his sword, defeated the creature. "Still, I enjoy taking them out the old-fashioned way." he told Donald.

Donald nodded before…
"YAA HOO HOO HOO HOOOOOO!" Goofy yelled silly while he defeats a bunch of the white guys by sliding on his shield and after that, he crashed into a wall.
"Goofy, you okay?" Ichika asked as Goofy got up.
"I'm fine!"
Ichika nodded before the two continued the fight but more kept coming and coming. Sora, however, was slicing up the competition, jumping and dodge-rolling when he needed to. Ichika noticed three new creatures with the same color coating and cross symbols as the others sneaking up to Sora.
They morphed themselves into spears and were about to strike at Sora but Ichika blocked all three of them and struck one while Sora struck the other two.
"Thanks!" Sora said while Ichika nodded.
The battle seem to go on for along time, the enemies came one after another, with no end in sight. Finally, Donald and Goofy collapsed in exhaustion as another wave came in, Sora fell on his butt, worn out while Ichika leaned on his Oathkeeper in exhaustion.
Just then another round of Dusks appeared and a cloaked short persons aw this from the top of the clock tower.
Ichika noticed one charge at Sora, and he rushed over to protect him. Suddenly the cloaked person came flying down from the top of the tower, with a Keyblade at hand that looked a lot like Sora's, except that his hilt and blade colors were totally reversed. His movements were swift and strong. He struck them all down with one hit each, including the one that he was fighting.
Sora examined him first and his eyes widened at the cloaked person's keyblade. It was the same one used by...
"Your Majesty?" Donald asked as he and Goofy examined him next.
"Shhh!" Mickey whispered.
'That's their King?' Ichika thought.
"You gotta board the train and leave town! The train knows the way." He jumped back, not showing his face to Sora. "Here." he said, holding a small bag full of money to Sora. He took it before Donald noticed Mickey leaving in a hurry.
"Your Majesty!" Donald called but Mickey was already gone from sight.
"So he's the king?" Ichika asked Donald.
"Yup, I just know it!" Donald said confidently.
"But was that really him?" Sora wondered.
"It coulda been… Yup, I know it was!" Goofy said.
"Now we know he's okay!" Donald said.
"If the King is here...then Riku must be nearby!" Sora realized.
"Who's Riku?"
Sora looked at Ichika.
"He's my childhood friend." Sora smiled. "Along with a girl named Kairi." He then looked at the others. "I'm going to go find Riku so we can go back on the islands where Kairi is waiting. What about you two?"
Soon Donald and Goofy had apprehensive faces.
"Gwarsh Sora. Do ya have to ask?" Goofy moaned. Sora and Ichika looked at the two for a moment before they laughed at their funny looking faces.
"Hey what's so funny you two!?" Donald squaked.
"Your face!" Donald and Goofy looked at each other before laughing. The four was laughing for a few minutes before they all calmed down.
'Maybe this isn't so bad after all.' Ichika thought.
"What do you say, guys?" Sora asked, "Let's stick together for one more journey." Donald and Goofy nodded. Sora then turned to Ichika.
"I don't really want to force you but you're welcome to come with us." Sora offered.
"Don't worry, I'm in. Need to find my way back home too." Ichika answered.
"Alright thanks. And I'm curious on what world you belong too." Sora said.
"Well I'm from…" Ichika said before realizing what he said. "Wait, you're not bothered by the fact I'm from another world?"
"Of course not, we've been to plenty of other worlds, so it's not a big deal." Sora replied, crossing his wrists behind his neck as if he was leaning back. Sora then looked back at the others. "So...where to again?"
"We're supposed to board the train!" Donald reminded.
"Oh yeah, right!" Sora remembered.
"How can you forget something that important?" Ichika wondered.
Sora shrugged before the four went to the train station.
