Hey everyone, happy Friday and time for a review. I would've posted this chapter before because I was on spring break but I was enjoying the break to keep my updates on Friday. Anyway now, I left you all in a huge cliffhanger with Cole in the end, so let's see what happens next. Enjoy.

Chapter 18: The Beast Unleashed

Cole felt his body ripping apart as his body was transforming into the Hulk. He heard his shirt shredding into pieces while his shoes and socks quickly snapped in half and his jeans remained with the legs ripped to the knees. He growled to scare the soldiers away from the doors and felt himself growing. Betty watched in fear as the Ninja were. Ross remained still. "Now she'll see him differently." he said. Everyone looked through the smoke to see a giant almost touching the ceiling and saw massive arms crossing and swung out to break glass and the stone ledges with a roar.

Everyone, but the soldiers, jumped back to the strength. The Hulk has been unleashed. Cole jumped out of the overpass and landed in a crouch to lift his head and growled. He was staring at the soldiers that had tackled Betty and slowly walked up to them as they helped to her feet and dragged her away. Ross became worried for his daughter and pulled his radio. "All units, fire at his left flank." he demanded. "Light him up."

Blolasky heard the commanded and waved a hand forward for the units to open fire. Soldiers raised their weapons to pull the triggers to fire at the Hulk. Cole felt something bouncing off his body and raised his arms up to defend his face and shouted in anger to the nearest jeep and crushed it while the soldiers jumped out in time. He shouted again and threw a piece of the vehicle towards them and collided it with another vehicle to cause an explosion and shouted at them as the iron bullets did no harm to him, but made him more angry.

He growled and jumped to the only jeep there was next to a sculpture of jagged edges that must've been welded or nailed with brackets and picked it up by the engine. He shouted as the passengers jumped out before he slammed the vehicle onto a jagged edge of the steel sculpture like it was a crude sword and performed it again and again till it was broken. All was quiet as the soldiers were retreating away from him.

Betty watched everything happened and looked at her father. "I told you it wouldn't work." she retorted. "Now look at him. Look at what you done!"

The general didn't look at her and grabbed his radio. "Blolasky," he said. "You're up."

Blolasky heard the command to smirk and unlatched the weapon from his back and gripped the handle with his left hand while his right hand had the trigger and pulled the handle back to load the grenade launcher and walked up to Cole. He raised up his weapon and fired the armed projectile. Cole saw who was firing at him and felt unbalanced as something shook him to stumble. "Hey over here!" he shouted. He reloaded and fired at the Hulk to make him stumble. Each shot he fired, the lieutenant would see him stumble. He's got him now. Cole growled at him and ripped a part of the sculpture like it was paper raised like it was a crude shield to protect the shot and grabbed another piece to block the next and growled. Blolasky saw the challenge and dropped his gun to pull his sidearm out and charged.

Cole shouted and swung his shields like they were weapons at him, but missed as Blolasky slid underneath him and felt bullets bouncing off his back. The green giant quickly turned around to swing at him, but Blolasky was quick and jumped to roll on his back onto the Hulk's weapon and ducked as he landed. Cole couldn't believe what he done to be quick to manuever like a ninja would. He slammed the weapons down to give the lieutenant the chance to hop onto them and jump back to grab onto the sculpture and fired. Cole could feel the bullets bounce off his face without harm and swung at him. Blolasky launched himself over the earth ninja and fired till he was emptied to land clumsily and to his back on the grass. The Ninja of Earth quickly slammed his shields down near his feet; giving Blolasky the moment to plant his boots firmly and launched himself back ten feet away to quickly stand up.

Ross watched in amazement to his lieutenant's speed and manuverability than the average human; almost like a ninja. Even Betty and the Ninja were amazed and astonished to him manuever that well. The general smirked as Blolasky was a super soldier. That is why he needs the Hulk. He stopped as the dark green giant was glaring at him and started walking towards him, his daughter, and the Ninja. He quickly grabbed his radio. "Blolasky, lead him away and to the Reverbs." he demanded.

Blolasky nodded and inserted a new clip into his side arm. "Hey over here!" he shouted and fired. Cole felt himself being shot and turned shout at him. "That's right." he said calmly. "Follow the birdie." and took off running and Cole followed after him. He looked over his shoulder to see him following and saw two jeeps, with hexagonall devices attached to the roof; the Reverbs. He saw the Hulk gaining on him and saw that he needed more time, but it was up. "Do it!" he shouted. "Do it now!"

The soldiers on the jeep looked at each other and activated the devices. A high hum and then pitch of soundwaves emitted from both vehicles and crossed each other to create a large wave and Blolasky jumped to dodge and felt the pulse push him away and slid on the grass while covering his ears as his ears rung. Cole felt himself being pushed back as he was caught in the trap and fell to one knee. He struggled to stand but the pitch was too high for him to make him cover his ears. It was weakening him.

Everyone was scared as the soundwaves were weakening Cole to have him lying on the grass in pain. The frequency was too high as it now reached towards Zane. The ice ninja quickly squeezed his eyes tightly while covering his ears and screaming in pain. Betty and the Ninja were scared as the nindroid fell to his knees while sparking as he cried, it was hurting his circuits. The raven-haired girl was scared for them both and turned to his father while two soldiers prevented her from coming closer. "Please stop!" she cried with stray tears escaping. "You're hurting them both! Can't you leave him and stop! Stop! Stop it!"

Cole heard Betty's scream through the soundwaves as her voice vibrated and bounced off. He looked at Zane, screaming on his knees while covering his ears and his eyes shut tightly and sparking. He growled that not only they were hurting Betty, but his family too; torturing them in pain. He felt his anger making him stronger now and looked at the devices and his shields. He had an idea now.

He slowly gripped both pieces of metal and prompt one knee and quickly raised the right shield up. Metal whined to the waves while bending a little as the force was pushing Cole away a little. Everyone was stunned on what he was doing to slowly stand back up. Cole shouted and threw the metal like it was a shuriken from his left hand and sliced the jeep from the left in half after the soldiers escaped. He felt stronger to see that one was destroyed and jumped and lets gravity take him to fall to crush the other jeep.

Zane gasped to the sudden stopped frequency waves and collapsed in Jay and Kai's arms, still conscious and breathing rapidly. Ross snorted as his tatics were diminshing quickly to stop the Hulk. "Where's the gunship?" he wondered and heard a helicopter in the distance. There it was.

Cole walked through the wreckage he caused and heard shots fired to turn and see Blolasky walking up to him and lifted his sheild up that was still in his hands till he was empty. The lieutenant threw his weapon down and stood in front of the eleven foot giant. "Is that all you got?" he challenged him. He heard the general shouting orders to retreat and removed the earpiece to look up. "Is that all?" Cole growled and kicked him squarely in the chest.

Everyone gasped in horror as Blolasky's body skipped across the grass and collided into a tree and fell limp. Ross couldn't believe it that his soldier has fallen to the Hulk when the Nanomeds increased his body and walked away to shout out orders. Betty saw this as a chance as nothing was happening and slowly walked up to Cole with no one stopping her. Cole looked around and saw the raven-haired girl walk up to him and slowly relaxed his body. He was glad that she was safe now. The girl stood in front of him to softly smile. "It's alright." she said, reassuring. "No one is hurting us anymore." and slowly reached a hand out onto his leg. She wasn't afraid of him.

Cole saw the bravely in her and slowly lowered himself till he was face to face with her and felt her smooth, soft hands touch his face. He slowly turn his lips to a tiny smile till he felt something striking his back and quickly turned around to shout at the helicopter zooming in. The pilot spotted his target and pressed the trigger on the stick to fire. Cole felt the heavy bullets bounce off his hard skin while being pushed back and shielded Betty with his body. "Cease fire! Cease fire!" he heard the general shout and glared towards the pilot. He looked at the shield in his hands still to shout and threw it like it was a frisbee.

The pilot was late to see what was hurling towards him and quickly pulled up, but was late and felt a jolt as the metal piece struck his rotar blade felt himself falling towards the target. Cole saw the fireball of wreckage coming towards him and Betty and quickly stood over her and carefully wrapped his arms around her while she screamed. The wreckage made contact to the ground and caused an eruption into more flames and made contact to Cole and surrouned him and Betty in the fire. "NO!" Ross cried to his daughter in the wreckage and felt his heart stop.

"COLE!" the Ninja shouted out to the leader.

There was movement in the wreckage and everyone watched Cole use his shoulder to move metal off of him and stood up. They could see the scorched and burn marks on his skin and watched him knelt down and stood up with Betty in his arms, limp and unconscious. Ross was relieved and scared as his tatics to capture him lead up to his lieutenant unconscious and broken while his daughter laid limp in the earth ninja's arms. Rain began to pour and Cole looked at the general to glare at him for everything he done to him and his daughter and slowly ran away to the forest covered mountains.

Ross remained frozen as he had no idea what to do next and turned to the Ninja. He caught them glaring for he done to Cole and watched the one in the grey sweatshirt change his eyes to milky white and watched them disappear as the droplets of water made them vanish. He stood there alone and couldn't think of anything to do now. His lieutenant was unconscious and so was his daughter and taken away by the Hulk. But he soon changed his emotions to anger to glare at the earth ninja's green form disappearing. He was a fugative and will hunt him down to capture him.

He swore it.

Well Cole is now angry still and what's gonna happen to him and Betty now. Will the Ninja ever find those two before the soldiers do? Who knows. Find out next week and see what happens next. Have a great weekend and see you all next week. :)
