Hey guys, here's something I've been thinking for a while. Well, a demo version/skit of it, but I hope you enjoy it!

[Date: ? 2017. Location: Some Court, Somewhere]

People in the gallery sat down to watch the trial's process while muttering to each other, questioning why they were here. His Honor raised his grovel in the air and tapped it down, enough for them to hear.

"In any event, court is now in session." the Judge announced. He is a bald man around his fifties with a white beard. He wore the standard black robe for judges, making his profession well known.

"The defense is ready, Your Honor." the defense attorney began. He is a man with black spiky hair that was combed back, which oddly resembled horns or bird's wings and has dark blue eyes.

He wore a blue suit with a white button up shirt and a red tie. His name is Phoenix Wright (Ryuuichi Naruhodo).

"The prosecution is also ready, Your Honor." the prosecutor added. He is a man with silver-gray hair that's neatly combed and has blue eyes. His attire consisted of a fancy red suit with a black button up shirt, and a white cravat around his neck. His name is Miles Edgeworth (Reiji Mitsurugi).

The Judge nodded. "Very well. It would seem that the purpose of today's trial was also called here by someone, who wanted to let all of us know on something."

"All of us were gathered here by these strange letters, which have no return address." Phoenix presented a pin that has a symbol of a shield and wings on it. "Once I got my letter, I also obtained this strange looking badge."

"Incidentally," Miles presented a letter to the court. "I received a letter that stated the following: 'I want to gather you all here for something heart-pounding, and will make you surprise for what I live for. Come to this courtroom or else you may suffer the dire consequences.'."

"I see- WHAT!?" the Judge exclaimed, which also caused everyone in the gallery to talk about it.

"Basically, we can all assume that it's a death threat." Phoenix stated, then placed his index finger and thumb on his chin as if he's thinking. "Whoever wanted us to come here must have been lying, just to fulfill that goal, which they did. I can assume everyone must have thought of this after receiving similar letters."

Phoenix then got his own letter and presented it. "While we're at it, mine said 'A certain mascot will make an appearance in the courtroom'."

"A mascot?" the Judge asked.

"Yes." Phoenix nodded, then looked at the paper. "It also says the theme of this event is "Despair"."

"Despair?" Miles asked, his arms crossed and tapping his index finger.

"Yeah. So it's best to assume that the sender has some sort of liking for philosophies." Phoenix said.

The gallery quietly muttered on what would the Ace Attorney mean by that, but some of them figured it out what that means. They also didn't like the situation that they were in.

"...Upupupu! Looks like the atmosphere is getting 'bear-ly lived up!" a voice said.

"What the…?" Phoenix blinked.

"Who said that?" Miles looked around in the gallery for the owner of the voice.

"I'm… Right… Here!" the voice announced.

Everyone in the courtroom, including Phoenix, Miles and the Judge, looked at where the voice was coming from. The witness stand.

Some were eager to know who it was, but then something jumped from behind the stand with wings before those disappeared and the figure landed on the railings of the witness stand.

To be blunt, the figure was a monochrome bear with the right side white and the left side black if you're looking from behind. It showed teeth on the black side and a devilish red eye while there was no teeth on the white side and the eye was just plain black.

(Danganronpa V3 OST: Mr. Monokuma's Lesson)

"Why hello there~! I am Monokuma, the mascot of the Danganronpa series!" the bear announced lively.

"AAAHHH!" the Judge yelled comically.

"EEEHHH!?" Phoenix gawked comically.

"A talking bear!? This is absurd!" Miles was also shocked by the sudden appearance.

"HAHAHA! You should see the look on your faces!" Monokuma laughed. "No wonder you people so easy to catch off guard, even with supernatural stuff!"

"W-What in the world is going on?" Phoenix uttered while sweating.

"Well if you must know, I got really bored so I tried to dimension hop all the way to the Ace Attorney (Gyakuten Saiban) realm by sneaking into Capcom HQ, but I was chased out and…" Monokuma kept talking on and on about whatever nonsense he has.

The Judge hit his gavel on the sound block.

"Well regardless of what's going on, let's have the witness testify." the Judge suggested.

(End OST)

"Okey dokie Judgie-boy!" Monokuma chirped.

'Who calls his Honor "boy"?' Phoenix inwardly deadpanned.

"Well to start things off, I really noticed that there's hardly any despair and gore in the Ace Attorney. If it's supposed to be the counterpart of Danganronpa, where's the gore, the executions, and all the suspense!? If you ask me, it's really lacking in the Tragedy department. So that's why I dimension hopped all the way into this realm!" Monokuma testified.

"OBJECTION(IGIARI)!"

Phoenix slammed his hands onto the defense's bench with a determined look.

"The bear's testimony is clearly a contradiction!" Phoenix proclaimed. "For starters, whether or not that the Ace Attorney series has it's lack of despair… I personally think it has a fair amount as much as the Danganronpa series has, when it's inside the playing field that they're at. Especially the hope genre, despite the differences. As for the gore and executions… I think that's impossible, speaking from experience." the Ace Attorney stood back up straight.

"But more importantly, you said you dimension jumped here...?" Phoenix asked before he did his finger point. "Even if this is a fanmade special court skit, some things just don't fly!"

"OBJECTION!"

"Hey! What can I say? After all, Despair has the power to destroy time and space!" Monokuma shot back while twirling like a ballerina.

"OBJECTION!"

"Witness, I just have one thing to ask of you." Miles began with his hand on the table.

"Sure thing, Edgey! What do you want?" the bear asked, eating a fish that came out of nowhere.

"Well…" Miles started, before pointing at the monochrome mascot. "What in the world is Danganronpa anyway?"

"Oh that! Well if you must know… I'll just have Nicky-boy answer that to you!"

"Wait, why me!?" Phoenix exclaimed.

"Well defense, aren't you going to explain on what is Dangan Ronpa?" the Judge asked.

'You too Your Honor!? Sigh… no choice.' Phoenix cleared his throat and regained his composure. "Well to be blunt, Danganronpa is a series that's a dark version of the Ace Attorney series and it's considered the series counterpart to some people that're fans of both games."

"Counterpart?" Miles blinked.

"Yeah." Phoenix nodded before taking out a piece of paper. "Danganronpa takes place in a high school for the most talented known as Hope's Peak Academy, which also funded by the government in-universe. The school also tries to teach students to hone talents that catches their attention, dubbing them symbols of hope and give them titles that fit their talents. In the Japanese version, they're called Super High School Levels or shortened in the English version, the 'Ultimates'. The main protagonist is named Makoto Naegi, who entered the school with his luck which made him the "Super High School Level: Lucky Student", and some fans say that his wits are on par with mine when it comes to trials. The same goes with the second main protagonist, Hajime Hinata."

"I see. But when I heard you say second, I take it that the game was popular to the point that there's a second game now?" Miles inquired.

"That's right." Phoenix nodded.

"I see… But how is it the dark highschool themed counterpart of the Ace Attorney series?" the prosecutor asked.

"Go play or watch the game online if you wanna know. Oh and do that before watching the anime. I don't wanna be a spoiler."

"…Very well." Miles sighed.

The people in the gallery started talking about it, then the Judge slammed his gavel on the sound block.

"Order in the court!" the Judge said, then looked at Monokuma. "Witness... "

"What is it? Joidgey?" Monokuma asked in a funny accent.

"...Would you like to tell the court what's the main reason on why we're here?" his Honor asked.

"Roger dodger boss!" Monokuma chirped, then got down to business. "Well, the number 1 reason why we're all here is…" the bear's red eye started to glow menacingly.

"It's to kill Phoenix Wright, and Miles Edgeworth!"

(Ace Attorney OST: Pursuit - Cornered 2004 version)

"SAY WHAAAAT!?" Phoenix exclaimed. 'Why does he wants to kill me!?'

"WHAT!? Miles gasped in shock. "What motive do you have for killing us!?"

"Well, did you ever notice the way on how your popularities grow? How you two spread hope in your games, etc?" Monokuma asked, then he grew ticked off for no reason. "And I hate your popularities! I hate your ideals! I hate your hopes! And I hate both your spiky porcupine hair, and the way your frilly thing moves! Plus, I just want some despair!"

"What does my hair have to do with this!?" Phoenix exclaimed while sweating bullets.

"That motivation is childish, but moreover…" Miles slammed his hand on his desk with a glare. "My cravat does not flutter to that extent!"

Hearing those, the entire courtroom began to chatter loudly clearly as a sign of being disturbed and/or freaked out.

"Order! Order!" the Judge slammed his gavel on the soundblock. "Bailiff! Remove this teddy bear at once!"

"Upupupu! Even when I'm not here, I have some guys going to pull off the execution just in case when someone busts down all the locked doors!" Monokuma giggles.

"So we're doomed either way…" Phoenix grumbles.

"Now then, I have a very special punishment for both Phoenix Wright the Ace Attorney, and Miles Edgeworth the Ace... Prosecutor! IT'S PUNISHMENT TIIIME!"

'No good!" Phoenix mentally yelled, gulping some saliva.

However, that's when something even more unexpected happen.

(End Song)

"NO, THAT'S WRONG!"

When a group yelled that, it caught the attention of Phoenix, Miles, the Judge, Monokuma, and the gallery's attention in shock.

Two males people got down from the gallery's seats, and went down to the defense's bench.

The first person is a young man in his teens, has a rather thin and petite build, being around 5 feet 3 inches. He has spiky, desaturated brown hair with a prominent ahoge, and washed-out hazel eyes. He wears a zipped-up dull green hoodie with a red stripe along the zipper, an open black jacket with gold buttons over the hoodie, black jeans, and red sneakers with white toes.

The second person is a teen around the first person's age, and has short, spiky brown hair with an ahoge that moves according to his emotions. He wears a simple white shirt with the emblem of a high school embroidered on the hem. He wears a green tie which also bears the same emblem. He has black jeans and red-and-white sneakers.

"W-Who are you?" the Judge asked.

"My name's Makoto Naegi, I'm the first protagonist of the Danganronpa series." the first person, Makoto, introduced himself.

"And my name's Hajime Hinata, the second protagonist." Hajime said.

"You really can't help yourselves, can you two…?" a third voice sighed from the prosecutor's side, causing Miles to turn to see who's next to him.

The third party is a tall young man with a slim figure, and dons a black suit. He wears a white shirt underneath and a green criss-cross tie. He also has short blond hair, blue eyes, and he wears white framed glasses.

"And who might you be?" Miles asked, which sounded more like a demand.

"...I'm Byakuya Togami. For my role in the Danganronpa series is for me to know only." Byakuya said.

Sadly for him, Hajime added, "He's Makoto's rival in the first game, and he's pretty much a sore loser since he was outsmarted."

"Tch!" Byakuya twitched his eyebrow.

"W-Well…, what is the reason why you're three are here?" the Judge asked.

"To show you some evidence." Makoto went through his pocket, and placed it on the bench. The evidence reveals to be a disk.

"This is also just something that'll save both Mr. Wright, and Mr. Edgeworth's skins." Hajime smirked. "We hope you enjoy."

(Danganronpa 3 OST: Matching The Color of God)

A card dropped onto the ground while images of certain events in black and white, then it turned lively with colors before it showed images of certain characters.

APOLLO JUSTICE: CLARION OF REVELATIONS

[Don't worry, I'll be fine! I'm always ready to go whenever! My cords of steel exercises are nothing to laugh at!] Scenes of Apollo are shown with him grinning, sweating bullets and then being shocked over something he didn't expect.

[I can feel it... you're lying about something, aren't you?] Feeling his bracelet tighten, Apollo uses his perception ability to find the unnoticable twitch.

HAJIME HINATA: THE RESERVED TRUTH BRINGER

[I don't have any remarkable talents. But even so, I'd rather stick to what I'm great at.] Scenes of Hajime are seen of him playing a handheld game, him being surprised comically at something, then yawning.

[Alright, I'll shoot through that remark!] Hajime slams his fist against the table, and then points at the person in question.

ATHENA CYKES: COURTROOM REVOLUTIONNAIRE

[Forget about me, and you're gonna pay dearly. Got it?] Images of Athena are now seen of her tossing someone, being shocked over something minor, and then laughing with a grin.

[Alright, let's do it!] She brings out her holographic screen, then showed the Mood Matrix

KYOKO KIRIGIRI: THE ULTIMATE DETECTIVE

[For the time being, let's just go over with what we know of.] Scenes of Kyoko of her sighing, looking at some notes, then shaking her head at something are shown.

[I see... so it was you.] Kyoko shows a piece of evidence, then points at the person she's referring to.

MAKOTO NAEGI: HOPE'S TRUTH BULLET

[I'd say being optimistic is the only redeeming trait I have. Even when things are bad.] Scenes of Makoto falling down stone stairs while crashing into Apollo, rubbing the back of his head in pain, and then sweat drops with a comical depressed aura.

[Now I get it!] Makoto opens his eyes, after thinking a few things through.

PHOENIX WRIGHT: THE COMEBACK KING

[Your Honor, there's a glaring contradiction in this witness' testimony. I'm not just bluffing, this is as real as it is!] Scenes of Phoenix are shown of him, failing at playing the piano, laughing in the office, and him waking up in an alarmed attitude.

[You're hiding something, I know it!] Phoenix holds his Magatama, then uses its' power to see the Psyche Locks.

(Ace Attorney OST: Pursuit 2013)

OBJECTION/NO, THAT'S WRONG!

Makoto slams one hand against the table "I won't give up, and neither are my friends."

Phoenix slams both hands on the defense's table. "All we can do... is believe in our client and fight to the bitter end to reach the truth!"

"Even in the worst of times, whether you're a lawyer or not, when we're backed into a corner…" Phoenix and Makoto began in synch. "All we have to do is show our biggest smile!"

At that, they both did their signature finger points in synch.

ACE ATTORNEY: THE ULTIMATE TURNABOUT

(End Trailer)

"OBJECTION!"

Phoenix smiles and slams his hands against the desk.

"Well, now I can see what they meant when this will save mine and Mr. Edgeworth's lives." the blue attorney began. "Monokuma's true motive was that he figured out that there would be a special crossover story to celebrate 15th Ace Attorney anniversary, in a way. However, under the assumption that it would take place in the Danganronpa universe, he wanted to kick it off by killing us. But judging from the scenes, backgrounds, and appearances…"

(Great Ace Attorney OST: Objection 2017)

"It takes place two or three years prior to the game!" he finished.

"WHAAAATT!?" Monokuma exclaimed in shock and began sweating all over.

That caused the gallery to talk among themselves in bewilderment.

"Order in the court!" the Judge slammed his gavel.

"B-But even so, this is Danganronpa, so I'll still be able to kill-"

"THAT'S WRONG!"

Byakuya gave a somewhat evil grin, and crossed his arms.

"You will not be able to do so." the heir said.

"Huh?"

"Your friends Maya Fey, Apollo Justice, and Athena Cykes went to get disable the contraptions for your execution with Kirigiri. They should be done by now." he explained.

"WHAT!?"

"I see, I'm glad to have friends to count on." Phoenix smiled.

"Yeah, you said it." Makoto said.

"I agree with that." Hajime added.

"Well regardless, I'll still get to appear and do some killing!" Monokuma said.

"OBJECTION!"

Miles smirked, then tapped his index finger on his forehead.

"While I don't know much about Danganronpa, I do know that you will most likely not be in it." he began, to Monokuma's confusion. "If you look at the trailer, you'll notice that you didn't appear in it. After all, mascots tend to appear in certain franchises, however your chances of appearing are... Close to zero!"

"WHAT!?"

"Now then, little bear..." Miles slammed his hand against his desk. "Return from whence you came from!"

"NO WAAAAAAY!" At that declaration, Monokuma disappeared from everyone's eyes.

(End Song)

(Turnabout Sisters 2016)

Everything was now back to normal moments later, then the Judge cleared his throat.

"Well now, that was an interesting trial." the elder man said. "Now then, the verdict in this trial will be for fans of both Ace Attorney and Danganronpa to read the story when it's published. But it's their own choice though... "

"Before we wrap things up, I have a suggestion." Makoto caught the attention of everyone present. "How about we say that line to commemorate Ace Attorney?"

"Sounds like a great idea, you up for it too Hajime?" Phoenix asked.

"Definitely, I've been a big fan for a while." Hajime nodded.

"I suppose so... " Byakuya sighed.

"Very well." Miles grinned.

"Alright then. I'll count down from three." the Judge held up his gavel. "3... 2... 1!"

(End Song)

OBJECTION!

And done! One of my motives for this one is that there wasn't a decent enough Danganronpa x Ace Attorney stories that lacked a few things about it. Well anyway, if you have any questions or comments, just leave a review or PM me.

Happy Halloween!
