"Ohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygod!" Kayla repeated as she ran down the hall with the jewel.

"What are you freaking out over?" Chrissi said from not far behind Kayla. "You kissed me!"

"Don't you get it! I didn't know we were enemies, but they do!" Kayla said as she stopped suddenly. Chrissi, who had slammed into Kayla's back, felt herself being shaken frantically. "Our mentors, the greatest rivalry ever, might have feelings for each other! They just broke the first rule in the book of enemies!"

"And that is...?"

"You're not supposed to have feelings for the enemy! Let's say they go out, right? It starts affecting their work. They get in one too many arguments. They have a horrible break up. They are never the same because you know Shego will get into Kimmie's pants and steal her virtue! Kim's depressed and Shego's depressed and then we don't learn anything! Except not to fall for your rival which is common sense!" Kayla started pacing as she waved her hands around wildly.

"Kayla, calm down." Chrissi said as she placed her hand on Kayla's shoulder. "Kim would never go for someone like Shego."

"What does that mean?" Kayla frowned. "I'm 'someone like Shego.' And Kim would totally go for it. Think about it. Good looking, charming, skilled, overtly romantic, witty. What more could one want?"

"But you're evil." Chrissi said with a roll of her eyes. "Not to mention egotistical."

"Whatever." Kayla glared. "But maybe you're right. Kimmie is a regular goodie two shoes like you. She might not go for it."

"I'm not a goodie two shoes!"

"You so are!"

"No way!"

"Yes way!"

"No-"

"Kayla!" Shego shouted as she grabbed the teen. "C'mon! Let's go before Princess wakes up! You can flirt some more later!"

"Oh, I'm the one flirting!" Kayla laughed dryly as she was thrown over Shego's shoulder. "You got some explaining to do! And you, Red, this talk isn't over and you so aaaaaaaaaareeee!"

Chrissi watched as the villains flew away. Not long after, Kim finally rushed up next to her. Her face was flushed and her eyes glazed. Her expression was one of fury, confuse, and hope. Raising an eyebrow, Chrissi looked at her with her arms crossed.

"Anything you'd like to share?" She said in a stern voice.

"Well, uh, you see, this all has a reasonable explanation." Kim laughed awkwardly with a fake smile.

"Please, feel free to enlighten me."

"Uh..."

"KP, Kayla!" Ron came over. "What happened? Did you get the gem?"

"No, Ron," Kim said quickly. "We'll have to have Wade track them down before Drakken finishes his latest scheme."

"Right, KP!" Ron said as he brought out his Kimmunicater. "I'll tell him!"

"...Are you even planning on telling him?" Kayla asked as they watched Ron walk away.

"Only if something happens..." Kim said as she looked around every where except at Chrissi. "But nothing will."

"Happens when?"

"Oh, tomorrow at 8. Shego kind of, uh, asked me out..."

"And you said yes!?"

"Nothing's going to happen, but she at least deserves a chance!"

"At what? To break your heart and shatter it into a million pieces? Kayla is SO right!"

"...You were talking to Kayla about it?"

"Well, yeah! It's not every day you witness your rival mentors making out! Not that I have a problem with it. I mean, I was a little mad when Kayla kissed me. But she didn't know we were fighting for different teams!"

"When did she kiss you?"

"Oh, uh," Chrissi blushed. "That first day, but that's not the point! You're going to go on a date with Shego. This is your archrival! That's evil! This could be a trap. Because she's evil. Evil!"

"Chrissi," Kim sighed. "First of all, it's not a date. Second, Shego isn't evil. Third, I know it's not a trap because Shego only does bad things for work. She doesn't go that low. And last, you're going to have to calm down with this 'My rival kissed me.' You just admitted to yours doing the same, you little hypocrite."

"I still don't see how Shego isn't evil if she's the bad guy." Chrissi said before her Kimmunicater started ringing. "Who in the world-"

"Hey, Red, it's me." Kayla appeared on the screen.

"Why-How-What are you thinking!? Calling me on this!" Chrissi said as she looked at an amused Kim. "I-I'll walk home!"

"Sure thing, hypocrite!" Kim laughed.

"I told you we weren't finished talking. Now, you won't believe what Shego told me. She asked-"

"-Kim out on a date, and she said yes. Now they're going out tomorrow night. I know. Kim just told me, and she MIGHT have told me more if you hadn't interrupted."

"...You're no fun you know that? Taking people's thunder..." Kayla grumbled. "But you know what we gotta do now, right?"

"Uh..."

"Typical. Your goodie two shoes mind didn't let you see the obvious answer. We gotta sneak out and watch them. We gotta make sure the date doesn't go...according to plans if you catch my drift..."

"We're going to sabotage them? Bu-But that's wrong!"

"Goodie two shoes~"

"Fine. I'll do it, but it's still wrong. Do you even know where they're going?"

"No, but I figured we can still follow them. Just to where ever they're going. Make sure you pack your sneaking gear, Red. You got Kim, obviously. I'll see you-"

"Kayla?" Chrissi heard another voice, a young boy's. She watched a little, blonde haired boy appear next to a blushing Kayla. "Who's that? She's pretty. Don't you think, Kayla?"

"Uh, I, uh," Kayla stuttered as she tried to push the boy away while Chrissi giggled. "Uh, yes, bud. Kayla thinks the girl is very pretty, but, uh, she's gotta talk about something to the pretty girl. Where's your brother?"

Chrissi watched as the young boy gasped and took off running. Kayla looked back to a smirking, albeit blushing, Chrissi. She made an attempt to speak, but it caught in her throat when Chrissi giggled. Kayla decided glaring would have the same effect.

"So, you think I'm pretty?"

"Shut up. Just bring your stuff and I'll see you tomorrow. Now, I gotta go find the other little brat because gasping and running away isn't exactly soothing. See ya, Red."

"My name's-" Chrissi started before the image cut out. "Bye, Kayla..."

Kayla straightened her black cap. All black was her choice for her new mission. All except her silver dog tag. Kayla grabbed it and looked at the names on it. She sighed before slipping it under her shirt. She walked to her brothers' room. She shook her head, but smiled slightly when she entered. They were in the same bed again. Old habits die hard, right? She walked towards them, kissed the tops of their heads, and whispered a quick good night before taking off. She came in time to see Shego, in her black dress pants and blazer over her green button up, jump on her green and black motorcycle. Kayla jumped on her own black motorcycle as she thanked her lucky stars that Shego taught her how to drive. She waited a while as she watched Shego before following at a distance. Watching as they arrived at Kim's, she stopped about a block away. She watched as Kim came out in her black, knee length dress and got on the back of Shego's bike. She was slightly startled by the change of weight on her own motorcycle, and the feeling of another's body against her own.

"Little warning next time, Red," She muttered as she handed her spare helmet. "Put this on."

"Maybe if you'd pay attention to you surroundings..." Chrissi hinted as she put it on.

"I'm a little busy focusing on our targets." Kayla said as she turned to look at the girl with a glare.

"You mean the ones that are leaving?"

"I knew that!" Kayla said as she quickly turned around to follow the quickly leaving duo. "You were just distracting me!"

"Well, focus on the road and those two!"

"I'm trying, but you're being impossible!"

"I'm impossible! You'r-

"Shhhh! I'm trying to concentrate!"

"This is going to be a long night..."

You bet it will be! But how's it going to turn out? Wait to find out!
