Chapter 19
Ally's POV
"I've missed this." I sigh as I cuddle into Austin's side after a round of the best sex of my life. Only covered by a throw that was left over the back of the couch while our clothes are thrown randomly over the floor.
"Me too." He smiles at me, swirling a strand of my hair between his fingers. Just then the front door opens and Kayla walks in.
"Hey. Oh my God guys get a room." She says covering her eyes but still trying to walk, obviously doesn't end very well as she walks into the wall. Austin slides out from under the blanket, slipping on his underwear and his jeans before passing me my clothes. Quickly throwing on my clothes I put the cover over the back of the couch.
"We're decent now, Kay." Austin tells her despite his lack of top. Slowly she takes her hands away from her eyes and backing away from the wall she was almost pressed against.
"You know it'd be great to be able to go to my best friend's house without walking into the aftermath of a porno." She jokes causing me to blush a deep red. Kayla notices this and breaks out into a grin. "I'm kidding, I'll remember and call first next time."
"That's a good idea. I'm not sure how good my self control is." Austin grins over at me, making me blush even more.
"Shut up. Can we not talk about my sex life?" I groan and escape the embarrassment by going into the kitchen. "Do you want something to drink Kayla?"
"Is there any diet coke?" She asks following me through along with Austin, both of them taking a seat at the breakfast bar while I go over to the fridge and get out 3 cans of diet coke.
"Thank you baby." Austin says after I pass him his can.
"So Kayla, how've you been it seems like ages since I saw you?" I ask sitting next to her and passing her a can.
"I've been good, I'm thinking of asking Mimi for a couple of shifts at the club."
"No way, I'm starting this week." I smile brightly at her and I see her freeze for a minute before breaking out into a grin that matches my own.
"Are you serious?" She squeals clapping excitedly.
"Deadly." I grin from ear to ear. "You should ask Mimi if you could start this week with me. It saves her having to teach us at two separate times."
"Wait, Kayla have you thought of how this is going to affect me? It's fine having my girlfriend up on stage but my best friend is just weird. You wouldn't do that to me would you?" Austin playfully frowns at her.
"Too bad Aus I need the money so you'll just have to put up with it." Kayla replies nudging him just enough to set his balance off and almost cause him to fall off the stool.
"What do you mean you need the money, I thought you had a job at that fancy restaurant in town." Austin asks curiously.
"They were losing money so they had to let go like half the servers and one of the kitchen staff." She shrugs. "So do you think your mom could give me a job, even if it's on the bar with you, anything will do?" She asks.
"I'll be sure to ask her when she gets home. I'll text you once I know. So I little birdie told me you and Trent were getting rather close." He smirks at her and I edge forward in my seat, curious of the details.
"We've went out a couple of times, nothing big. He's sweet though, I'm going out with him later today so I should probably get going." She says jumping down from the stool she was sitting on. "Remember to ask your mom. Bye Ally." Kayla waves with her free hand with her can of coke in the other.
"Bye." I shout as she leaves.
"What's with all the shouting?" Rydel says as she walks through into the kitchen with two empty plates.
"Kayla was just over. Did Ratliff actually eat everything today?" Austin asks in disbelief.
"Yeah: without too much persuasion. He actually talked as well, not much though mainly about the baby." She shrugs with the hint of a smile on her face.
"It's a step forward than we were yesterday." I smile. It's good he's getting back to normal, slowly but it's happening. Just then Austin's phone rings.
"Hello?...Hey mom what's up?...Okay, I'll tell the rest of them...oh and Kayla was wondering if she could get a job at the club, either as a dancer or as bar staff...okay I'll let her know...see you later mom." He hangs up the phone. "Mom and Dad are going to be home a little earlier and are bringing in a carry out so one of us has to text them what we want and Kayla has a job along with Ally." He sums up the conversation.
"I'll go see if Ell wants anything." Rydel says, walking back up the stairs.
"I'm glad he's getting better, I've missed my buddy." Austin says with a sad tone to his voice.
"Me too, you should phone Kayla to let her know about the job. I'm going to go meet up with Trish for a little bit, could you tell your mom to get me salt and pepper chicken?" Walking to put my can in the bin before going to the cupboard by the stairs and getting out a pair of trainers. "I'll see you later baby." I shout as I walk out the door and down the steps onto the beach.
Okay, I know I said I was going to update before the new year...Happy New Year:D...but on New Year's Eve I was writing then my friend said she was coming down, then I was at a party of sorts at night, then on New Year's Day I was at my cousin's house for lunch/dinner and didn't get back till late, then yesterday I was at the carnival with my friends...that was a drama...then today I was exhausted and went shopping for new school shoes, so I just got to finish this really short, shitty filler chapter. Honestly it's the worst I've ever written I think...but as I said before I'm trying to work on updating faster and writing better chapters.
I was also thinking of making an Instagram for my fanfiction account as a fan page and a way of keeping in touch with all of you more easily to give you updates on how the writing is going and when to expect updates...it will NOT be used to post fanfictions. I was just wondering how many of you would follow me.
And a finally thought: it would be much appreciated if you could check out LoveLover13.
As always sorry for the horrible updating skills, but thank you for sticking with me and reviews are what keep me wanting to write:) please feel free to PM me as well:)
