Chapter 7

So…It's Date?

CYMBALINE'S POV. STILL

To say that today was stressful, would be an understatement, it was torture! Not only was I followed and annoyed all day and people were acting all nice, who obviously weren't, but I now had news reporters following everywhere too! I was so going to kill my brothers…

It wasn't easy for the girls either. The fact that we were all friends, had now gotten out, and they had news reporters on their backs too. It just wasn't fair. All these things and how the girls and I were going to be dealing with it, were going through our heads, just as we pulled up to the driveway of my house. We gave each other looks. We opened the car doors and the five of us linked arms as we pushed through the crowd trying to make it to the door, and yelling out,

"No comment!"

"Leave us alone!"

"Please let us through."

"Go away!"

"Get out of the way!"

We finally made it to the door and opened it. Amy, Cream, Blaze and I got in, but Rosy stayed, blocking the door and yelled,

"Leave. Us. The. FREAK ALONE AND GO GET LAID, I'M SURE THAT SOME OF YOU NEED TOO!"

We all laughed. She came in and slammed the door closed. She had a victorious smirk on her face. Then blushed and smiled nervously at the floor, when she saw Scourge smiling at her with admiration. It was sweet, but that wouldn't stop me from getting back at him and Sonic.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GUYS! HOW DARE YOU!" I yelled at my brothers.

"It was going to come out eventually sis." Scourge stated.

"Yeah, I know, but I didn't want it to happen now! Do you have any idea, what it's going to be like for me, not to mention the girls, since people know that we're all friends, they're going to follow and bother them as well." I said.

"It's true. Actually after Rosy and I left for one of our classes, people from school wouldn't leave us alone and them, some news reporters kept flashing pictures at us and were trying to talk to us through the glass. They wouldn't leave." Amy said.

Just then Rosy's phone rang, and she answered.

"Hello…mom? What is-what!? Well, how did they get our-!?…yeah, I'll tell her. Okay, bye." she ended the call and turned to us, "That was our mom, she said that a bunch of news reporters are at our house. They somehow got our address." she said annoyed.

I looked back at Sonic and Scourge, then took a deep breath and scolded them.

"See, I told you! Not only are they following us around, but now reporters have Amy and Rosy's address. They'll never leave them alone now!" I stated.

My brothers each looked at the girls and got guilty looks on their faces. They then each apologized to the girls. They forgave them, of course, it wasn't that they were mad, but still.

After a while we all just started hanging out. Tails was helping Cream with her homework, Silver was talking to Blaze about a tour they would be taking in a month, and Sonic and Scourge were talking to Amy and Rosy about different music types and what they each were especially good at, which left me and Shadow to talk with each other.

"Sorry, about what your brothers did." he said.

"It's not your fault, don't worry. And I still can't wait for our date this weekend." I said, smiling nervously.

"Yeah, me too." he said, sneaking a kiss to my cheek without the others seeing. I blushed, then smiled, maybe there was a chance that we would get together…

AMY'S POV.

I was now with Sonic on the porch of the backyard, while the others were inside. We just sat there, looking at the stars and talking.

"This is really nice." he said, still looking up, as I turned to him.

"Yeah it is…" I said smiling a little, as he turned to me and smiled back at me. I blushed lightly.

"Hey, I'm really sorry for the whole reporters at your door thing." he said. "Scourge and I were just trying to bug Cym, like brothers would to any younger sibling, but we may have gone a bit far." he admitted.

"Don't worry, I'm sure she'll forgive you, if she hasn't already. Rosy and I have." I said.

"Thanks, that actually makes me feel better." he said, smiling warmly, making me blush.

"…Hey, Amy, um, I was wondering, do you want to hang out this Saturday night?" he asked nervously.

My mind was blown.

"Oh. My. GOSH! SONIC THE HEDGEHOG, A ROCK STAR, IS ASKING ME OUT! QUICK AMY, SAY YES!" my mind screamed.

"I'd love too!" I exclaimed, but not to loudly.

He smiled widely. Great, I'll pick you up at eight. Is that good?" he asked.

"Yeah, totally!" I said.

"Awesome." he said, smiling at me, then looked back to the stars. I was calm on the outside, but on the inside I was freaking out in happiness, I could only smiled widely.

I couldn't wait for Saturday…

ROSY'S POV.

I was with Scourge on the porch in front of the house, the news reporters had long since gone after Blaze had threatened to call the police. It was actually pretty funny how they scrambled.

We were laughing at different moment we had each been through in our lives, we actually had a lot in common.

"You know, you're a really interesting girl." he said smirking.

"Is that good?" I asked sassily.

"I think so." he said.

"You know, you really aren't all what people think you are, none of you guys are. It's funny, actually." I stated.

"Yeah, I kinda thought that too. And you, your sister and friends aren't like other girls. Usually, they will be attacking us with, 'we love you!', and trying to get anything of ours and tackling us, and squealing and screaming until or ear start to hurt." he explained.

I gave him a look.

"Do I seem like the type of girl that does that? At all?" I asked, with a 'really?' expression.

"Not at all…" he said, smirking at the sky.

We sat there in a nice silence for a few minutes, before he spoke up.

"Hey, Rosy, I was just wondering.. You wanna, maybe, go on a date this weekend?" he asked, rubbing the back of his head.

I looked at him, giggled and raised an eyebrow.

"You do know that we only just met, like, a night and three days ago, right?" I asked.

"Yeah, but it's just different with you… in a good way I mean." he said looking away, but I could see the light pink tint on his face.

"That's good to know…" I thought it over, then turned and smiled at him, "Okay, sure, when and where."

"Awesome. At the skate rink Saturday night. That good for you?" he asked.

"Yeah, perfect. So it's a date." I said, smirking. He blushed lightly.

"Cool." he said.

We looked back up to the sky, and I couldn't help but feel giddy. I was going on a date with my favorite person from my favorite band, that I had a crush on, and there was a possibility that he liked me too. I couldn't wait for Saturday…

SILVER'S POV.

Shadow had just finished giving Tails and I, pep talks. Tails was going to ask our Cream, and I was going to ask out Blaze, hopefully.

Tails went first and asked her if she wanted to go on a picnic with him on Saturday afternoon, just the two of them, obviously, and by the way Cream hugged him and was saying that she'd love too, I took it as she had said yes.

He came back over with a smile on his face, along with a lip stick mark on his cheek, and a blush on his face.

"She said yes." he said dreamily.

"We got that." Shadow stated, then turned to me. "Alright Silv, your turn." I gulped and walked over to Blaze.

One I was right by her, I started to speak.

"H-hey Blaze." I said, cursing my stutter.

"Oh, hey Silver, what's up?" she asked.

Why did she have to be so cute? WHY!?

"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out with me on Saturday." I said.

"Sure, why not? What would we do?" she asked.

"Well, there's a carnival in town. How does that sound?" I asked.

"Sounds like fun. It'd be fun to go to that carnival with you." she said smiling at me/

"Great, I can come pick you up at five, that's when it opens, and we'd have more time to try everything." I said, slightly rambling.

She giggled and agreed. I was so relieved. I headed back over to the Tails and Shadow after a few minutes of us talking and told them all about it.

A few hours later, the girls had to go back home, they did have school tomorrow. After they left we started talking about what each of us would do on our dates, and gave each other tips and pointers.

It wasn't long before we all packed it in and headed to bed. But as I was heading to bed, I saw Shadow and Cymbaline talking, then hug and Cym, pecked him on the cheek. I couldn't believe my eyes, so rubbed them, and continued towards my room. I probably was just seeing things, I was tired after all.

I got in bed and slowly let sleep take over. All I could think about was I and Blaze's date. Saturday just wouldn't come soon enough…

SORRY FOR THE LONG UPDATE, SCHOOL AND ALL, PLUS WITH THE FLU GOING AROUND, I'M TRYING NOT TO GET SICK. BUT ANYWAY, I HOPE YOU ALL LIKED THE CHAPTER, THE NEXT WILL BE A SKIP TO FRIDAY NIGHT, WHICH IS SHADOW AND CYMBALINE'S DATE INSTEAD OF ON SATURDAY LIKE ALL THE OTHERS. PLEASE REVIEW BUT DON'T FLAME.
