Chapter 20

Ally's POV

"5, 6, 7, 8...1 and 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8." Mimi counts as she does a basic routine of step ball-change step, outward round kick into a lean, hop crouch finishing with a step into a jeté. With ease Kayla and I follow her after she has finished. After landing the jeté in perfect sync Mimi looks impressed with us.

"Alright lets try something a little...sexier. Grab a chair and find your balance." Mimi laughs as she walks over to the side of the stage a picks up a wooden chair, Kayla and myself following suit. "So if you could stand on the chairs I want to see how you drop. Take it easy first: just go into a grande plié but stay down. Make sure you have your balance before you drop though; can't have my newbies breaking something before their big debut." I drop down with ease: having the back of the chair in front of me I only hold the chair for support for a second before coming back up. Kayla matching my movements we grin at each other before turning to Mimi.

"How was that?" I ask.

"Perfect. You two are naturals." Mimi returns the smile.

"Wow, thanks." Kayla says excitedly.

"Honestly I think you're both just what the club needs. Now lets see you going right down so you're straddling the chair." Mimi suggests. "On the count of 3. One, two...three." I let myself drop: awaiting the contact of the chair on my ass. It comes with a soft thud: my feet hitting the ground a millisecond after.

"Perfect. If you could stay there I'll give you a few counts to tie it together." Mimi stands on the chair. "So you'll have one drop, over the chair, left, right, knee in and back. Sound okay?" She asks, turning on her seat to face us. I nod and I'm guessing Kay does too because Mimi nods. "Alright so up you get. After this we'll be finished dance wise for today. I just wanted to see how you dance and if you'll handle the learning pace but it seems you're both very capable dancers and very quick learners. I'd like to fit you for costumes after we're finished today as well." She finishes and me and Kayla stand up.

"That's perfectly fine. You're my lift home anyway." I joke, standing up on the seat again and going over the counts in my head.

Mimi chuckles lightly before counting us in.

"5, 6, 7, 8. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, 7, 8. Alright that was brilliant. I think you'll both do just fine." She smiles cheerily at both of us.

"Thanks again so much Mimi." Kayla says gratefully.

"It's no problem honey. Now lets get these chairs put away, get the two of you measured and go home." She picks up her chair and moves it back to the side of the stage.

Austin's POV

"DIE MOTHERFUCKER!" I scream at the tv, rapidly clicking the buttons of the game controller.

"FUCK OFF!" Rocky shouts back, hitting his controller the same way as me.

"STAY STILL!"

"DON'T SHOOT ME!"

"THAT'S THE POINT OF THE GAME!"

"SHUT UP ASSHOLE!"

"BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP!" I freeze where I am, slowly turning around to see Ratliff standing at the door: his pyjama bottoms crinkled and obviously worn, his top the same, his usual stubble now filling out into a beard and his hair messed and untidy.

"You're up? And talking. Where's Rydel? She needs to know. I'll go find her." Rocky jumps off his seat on the couch, practically sprinting towards the door to search the house for Rydel. "It's good to have you back buddy." Ratliff chuckles slightly at my cousin as he slides across the floor.

"Do you think we should tell him that Rydel's out with Ally and Kayla?" I ask, cocking an eyebrow at my best friend.

"Nah, let him burn off some energy." Ratliff laughs as he comes to sit next to me on the couch.

"You need a bath." I complain, holding my nose to emphasise the need. "Get your ass upstairs and get in a bath and use plenty of soap. The girls will be home in an hour." He doesn't look like he's planning on moving anytime soon so I grab him by the ear and pull him up the stairs, and trying my best to ignore is complaints. Pulling him into the bathroom I sit him on the edge of the bath, put the plug in and start the water.

"I've lasted without washing for this long, what's the matter with leaving it another couple of days?" He groans.

"Because if you're really out of this slump then you need to prove it plus you and Rydel have a doctors appointment tomorrow. I'm going to get you a towel." I say as I leave the bathroom to go to the cupboard just outside.

Rocky stops midway through his descent on the stairs. "Do you know where Rydel is?"

"She went out with Laura and Kayla two hours ago." I laugh at his disheartened face.

"You and Ratliff are mean." He pouts stomping down the stairs like a child during a tantrum.

"You just don't pay attention to things." I shout back to him. Laughing to myself as I go back into the bathroom with a towel in my hand. I take the sound of running water as a clear to go in plus the fact he knew I was coming back with a towel for him. I walk in to find him testing the water before turning the taps off.

"Here's your towel." I motion to it before throwing it so it lands just next to the tub. Just after I shut the bathroom door my phone vibrates in my pocket. Seeing Ally's name on the screen I break out into a grin, somehow even with just her name being somewhere she makes me happy, more than happy, she makes me feel like I'm living.

Hey baby, that's us just leaving the club. We're going to pick something up on the way home. Rydel has some exciting news for everyone as well:)

Okay:) we have some exciting news of our own;) see you in a while.

"Dude, the girls will be home up in there and get dressed so you can surprise Del." I shout through the bathroom door.

"Alright, Jesus, calm your pants." He shouts back. It's good to see he's getting back to his old self.

Rydel's POV

"I just got a text from Riker, he says the record label is having a Spring Ball on the 7th of March. It's a Masquerade with a Movie theme. Oh my gosh I have the cutest idea for you and Austin!" I squeal at Ally. "You could go as Romeo and Juliet. It's his favourite film ever and it would be so perfect." I gush happily, I'm so hormonal, jees.

"If Austin and I are having matching costumes then so are you and Ratliff are too. How about Mickey and Minnie Mouse?" Ally suggests, seemingly happy with her and Austin matching. "And Ash and Elliot can be matching as well, they're pretty serious right?"

"It'll be perfect." I squeal again, I want it to be March already.

"Right, so we're stopping off at Victoria's Secret to get no show panties for us two and something sexy for blondie." Kayla smirks at me from her position behind the wheel.

"I'm getting something sexy too." Ally adds, I know she feels bad for practically ignoring Austin for 2 weeks. "You could get something for Trent." Ally giggles. As Kayla blushes.

"We've went on like 2 dates, he's not getting in my pants that easily." She says firmly.

"You might as well be prepared, since we're here now you might as well get something." I suggest as we pull into the parking lot of the mall.

"Fine, I'll get something but nothing too sexy." She grimaces at the thought.

"Leave it to me I'll find something perfect." Ally smirks before sliding out the car and power walking towards the entrance.

"She's on a mission." I laugh as I link arms with Kayla. I know she's Austin's best friend but me being the only teenage girl in the house we've gotten pretty close over the years. By the time we catch up to Ally she's already got three baskets filling up pretty fast, one in particular is looking very full.

"Del, this is your basket," she hands me one of the less filled baskets. "And Kayla this is yours." She hands Kayla the other slightly less filled basket. "You can look through it before you decide on anything for definite, I just guessed you were both a small the same as me. Rydel I picked out some babydolls for you so you can continue wearing them as you get further along. And Kay I picked up some slips and teddies for you and I picked up some seamless tan thongs for you." She says cheerily, she's really in her element when she's shopping.

"These are stunning but there's like 5 things here plus the panties. I don't have that kind of money." Kayla sigh, looking sad to part with a coral satin skip.

"I'll pay for it, my treat for your new job at the club." I say, more than willing to pay for such beautiful clothes.

"You can't do that, you've got enough stuff of your own you need to pay for." She protests.

"I'm in a band remember, it's not like I've not got the money to spend." I say taking her basket and moving her items into my own basket. "There, no going back now." I stuck my tongue out at her childishly with Ally laughing at our exchange.

"I picked up some stuff for Ash as well, just a few things similar to Kayla's but different colours to suit her skin tone and hair." Ally says holding up the most beautiful green slip. I don't bother looking at the stuff she's picked out, I know it will be perfect. After another walk around the shop and a few more items in each basket we head to the checkout.

"Out getting stuff to impress the boyfriends?" The girl behind the counter asks.

"Yeah, it's for my fiancé he's been away for a few weeks and I want to surprise him." I stretch the truth slightly, keeping a smile on my face.

"And they forced me to get some stuff." Kayla sends a quick look to Ally beside us at the next checkout.

"Hey, I did a good job of picking all your stuff out for you." Ally protests.

"I know you did." Kayla smiles widely at her.

The girl serving Ally smiles at our conversation as she scans the last of Ally's basket full, folding it and placing it into a bag on the floor next to her.

"So that will be $570." Ally hands over her card. The girl swipes it, the register beeps so she try's it again, and the same thing happens. "I'm sorry Miss your card has been declined."

"What? That's impos- that son of a bitch." She growls.

"Ally it's fine I'll just pay for it." I say, handing over my own card.

"He cut me off, my asshole of a father cut me off." She says quietly almost to herself yet still with a lot of anger in her voice.

"That's great have a nice day Miss." She says handing Ally's card back to her along with her bags and handing back my card so I can pay for me and Kayla's things.

"And for you it will be $690." I hand my card over. I must have baby brain if I'm spending this much on lingerie for 4 people but oh well, I'm in a band that just released an album that's selling amazingly so it's not as if I don't have money.

We leave the store, Kayla and I both carrying a bag each and Ally carrying two.

"Del I'm sorry you had to pay for mine too, I didn't think my father would have cut me off completely. He drained my bank account." She says softly.

"It's no problem." I say as we walk towards the car to drive home. "Kayla we can sort out our stuff when we get home."

...

"We're home." Ally shouts as we open the door to the house. It's really quiet, too quiet that's when I see him. Standing in the arch leading to the kitchen. I drop everything a leap into his arm, praying that I'm not imagining things and that he'll be there to catch me. My body makes contact with his and he holds me tight against his chest. My body wracks with sobs as I hold onto him for dear life as if when I let go he'll disappear.

"Don't let me go, ever, I can't lose you again." I whisper, my tears falling onto his shoulder. I take in his scent, he's obviously bathed today and his smell is intoxicating, just the way it used to be.

"I won't, not ever. I love you too much." He whispers back to me, his voice cracking.

Ally's POV

"So this was the surprise." I state, cuddled into Austin's chest, his arms wrapped around my waist as we watch Rydel and Ratliff in their embrace.

"Yep." His smile heard through his voice. "I want us to be like that in the future."

"Like what?" I ask curious of what he means by that.

"Happy, in love, not content until we're in each others arms, stronger together." He sighs happily.

"I don't think that's unreasonable, in fact it sounds perfect." I place a soft kiss on his cheek, everything's going back to normal.

So when I was writing this A/N it was 11:11, so even though it's not now you might as well make a wish because there's still all the magic of 11:11 in the writing...okay that sounds crazy but I am crazy...I'm also an idiot that drops her phone down the toilet. It was funny at the time but not so much now because I've been a moody cow without my phone:/ anyways as always thank you so much for sticking with the story, it means a lot:) I had something to say but I've forgotten it now..umm...yeah it's definitely gone from my mind. Oops. Remember to favourite, follow and review if you liked it, constructive criticism is also appreciated to help improve my writing. Oh I remembered what I was going to say, have any of you been to an R5 concert and if so how long before the concert did your tickets come?
