Chapter 13

Where is Your Valentine?

AMY'S POV.

It had been a month since the boys left, and I can say, that it was a very emotional goodbye for us girls as and after they started up the escalator to their flight. I knew that the girls and I were upset, but I really felt bad fro Cymbaline and her mom.

They had to watch their boys leave, just as they had so many times before and knew that they would always have to a certain points. Still, Rosy was hard to console for the first three days, she was just plain depressed. However, we got through it. We would have to, being the girlfriends of famous stars, after all…

Today was hard for all of us.

Today was Valentine's Day. In addition, we were here while the boys were in Nice, which was a city in Paris. PARIS! The city of LOVE, and it was VALENTINE'S DAY and we WERE NOT with them.

We all knew they would never cheat, but still, it wasn't as if the thought wouldn't cross our minds, whether or not it was Paris and we weren't there.

There's always the painful thought of what they could be doing out of our sight, in wherever they were, even if they were here in Mobius, while we were at school, or just, like I said…out of our sight. But we knew the guys; they wouldn't do that to us. They weren't like that, besides, if they did the threats from our families should be enough for them to be scared.

It was the first day of our week off break from school, and we were currently in Cymbaline's house. We all were kind of hoping that the boys would call at least. It was Valentine's Day.

"Look, I'm sure that they'll call guys." I said.

"Well when?" Rosy asked.

"I'm sure some time before midnight." I answered.

"I hope so." she said.

After a silence, Cream spoke up.

"Do you guys ever wonder, if while they're somewhere else, in a different place…what if, w-what if they're-" Blaze cut her off.

"Don't even say that. They wouldn't do that and you know it." she said, but seemed to be reassuring herself as well as Cream and the rest of us.

"Yeah, but still, the thought is there." she said sadly.

"We feel your pain Cream." Cymbaline said.

I looked at Cymbaline, I could see the depression in her eyes.

"Well, let's try not to think about that. What are we going to do today. It's the first day of our break and Valentine's Day." Rosy said.

"Well, how about we call the guys and say hey. Then we can think about what to do." I suggested.

"Good, idea. I'll make the call." Cymbaline stated, taking out her phone.

She dialed the number and put it on speaker. After three rings, someone picked up.

"Hello?" it was Shadow. Figures.

"Hey Shadow, put the others on the phone too."

"Okay."

"Alright they're here."

"Hey, so how are you guys?" she asked.

"Uh, good. Look, we're really sorry Cym, but we gotta go." Shadow said.

"W-wait! Isn't there anything you or any of the guys want to say to us." I asked.

"Um, no I don't think so." Scourge said.

"Anything about today?" I asked again.

"No, I don't think that there's anything important about today." Shadow said.

"Look, we really gotta go. Sorry. Bye girls." Sonic said.

Cymbaline looked at her phone sadly, then put it back in her pocket. We each look at the floor sadly. Then Cream spoke up, well more like began tearing up and spoke up.

"They didn't even remember what day it was today, and no less, they just hung up on us. Without so much as a 'have a good day' or an 'I love you'!" she exclaimed, tearing up more and beginning to sob.

I couldn't help but feel, well, not as important as I did before. I looked at Cymbaline and noticed that she quickly wiped her eyes.

"Why don't we watch some tv." I said. They all shrugged and we began watching tv.

We sat in the living room and began watching t.v. with all of us depressed…

THREE HOURS LATER.

We were still watching tv, when I got a txt. It was from Sonic!

"Hey guys I got a text from Sonic." I said.

They all looked at me.

"What does it say. Did they remember?" asked Blaze.

Sonic: Turn the tv to MET.

"He just said to turn the channel to the music channel."

"Why?" Rosy asked.

"He didn't say, just said to go to that channel." I replied.

"Well, there's nothing else to do. We might as well." Cymbaline said.

We changed the channel and to our surprise the guys were on it. They were being broadcast live from Paris.

"What?" I said aloud.

"Hey, we want to dedicate this song to our girlfriends, Amelia Abigail Rose." Sonic said.

"Rosalinda Abigail Rose." Scourge stated.

"Cream Annabelle Rabbit." Tails said.

"Blaze Teresa Sol." Silver said going next.

"And Cymbaline Anne Hedgehog." Shadow said lastly.

"We just want to say how much we are glad to have you by our sides. And to say…we love you. Happy Valentine's Day. This one is for you girls only." Sonic spoke again.

We each had tears in our eyes, but they were tears of joy and only joy. They hadn't forgotten, they just wanted to surprise us. Then the music started to play.

Once they finished the crowds roared in applause. We all had smiles on our faces by now and were holding back happy tears. Then Sonic spoke up again.

"Always remember, no matter how far away we are, we're always there with you. And we love you. So again, Happy Valentine's Day girls. We'll see you sooner than you before you know it." Sonic finished. And with that they walked off the stage.

Nothing could make this better.

Just then the doorbell rang.

"I got it." Cym said.

She opened it to reveal a mail carrier with five different bouquets of flowers and five different bags of candies and cookies.

"Flowers and candies for two Miss Roses, one miss Rabbit, one Miss Sol, and one Miss Hedgehog." he said.

"That's us." Cymbaline said.

"Please sign here." she signed the paper and handed her the candies.

"Thank you, happy valentine's day." he said, as he walked away.

Cymbaline handed each of us a bouquet and a bag of candy.

"They remembered our favorite flowers and candy!" Cream exclaimed giddily.

Rosy and I had gotten a rose of each color, which each had a certain meaning to it, Cream got lilies, Blaze got Forget-Me-Not's and Cymbaline got blue tulips.

We all sat down and chowed down on the candies and cookies. I stand corrected, this Valentines day just got better.

"Thanks guys, we love you too." I thought to myself as I enjoyed my treats and smelled my beautiful flowers. Today had been a great Valentine's Day after all…
