Ownership: Glee is owned by those other greats. Dalton by CP Coulter is a spinoff arc from Furt, borrowed characters are Michelle, Logan, Julian, Shane and Reed. Risky Business is my fun KurtBastian, which includes Glee and Dalton. Risky Business and my words here, I own due to a great imagination.

Music Inspiration: Radioactive by Marina and the Diamonds. Which I came across through a KurtBastian vid on You Tube.

Inspiration for this piece: My love of Glee, love of Dalton by CP Coulter, and the adorable Mr Grant Gustin who plays Sebastian. Threads from another great author, 'aworldoflis', she has written a lot of good stories. I got onto Dalton because of her. A thread of her stories is here. So much is going to collide in this piece. I was recently asked why I'm so darn optimistic all the time? Why not? I'm a Gleek, and before I knew of Glee, I loved music and the necessity to be seeing all the positives is like breathing. And even the latest ep, ep 8, I hone in on the positives. Like I said, oxygen from breathing. Oxygen from Glee. Ep 8 sent me packing for Klaine vids, compilations that aren't on the dvd collections I own. Soaking up some Sebastian, okay, lots of Sebastian has also inspired me. So to the Cheshire Cat from the face book page for Dalton by CP Coulter here is a little adorable Sebastian for you. I've also fallen a little in fan-love with Mr Grant Gustin, who plays Sebastian Smythe and other great roles. We make our own antidote, for poisons and negatives. Okay, here goes.

Important: This is bit of an arc from my Risky Business. Not that you can tell, but I've had to come back up here and say: Oh I'm having fun writing this. There is a few of Dalton by CP Coulter mentions in this piece. Read this anyhow, nothing ruined. But if you read Dalton by CP Coulter, it'll make even more fun sense. Link in my profile, faves in my Authors and Stories fave bit too. It's really good.

Roll of the die equals five. The counter was moved five places and the card picked up reads: What city hosted Nationals in Season 2?

Setting: Holiday house in Geelong, Victoria, Australia.

"Everything reminds me of him. We were a dynamic duo in here. Kurt was my anchor Finn, and now that he's gone, I feel like I'm floating." Sebastian presses the pause button.

The video had arrived unannounced, no return address. Someone wanted Sebastian to see all Blaine's pain. He was certain Blaine wouldn't have sent it to him. It's quite possible that Blaine wouldn't have even been aware that he was being recorded. The video consisted of over two hours of Blaine's, Kurt's and Sebastian's relationships, with one another. Videos with quality background music, like one really long You Tube show.

He considered letting Kurt know about it's existence, this biographical documentary. But decided to choose any other time, occasion, than this coming weekend. Seb wanted their first Christmas in Australia to be memorable for different reasons. The weather promised to be very hot, an experience foreign to him, Kurt and their invited guests.

Looking out at Kurt setting up lawn decorations in their front yard, Seb smiles at how dedicated and loving of Christmas fun, Kurt was enjoying. Seb glances over at the clock and has visions of who needs to be picked up, from where, when and hoping everyone will not get too cramped in their little holiday home.

Kurt's Niece had arrived yesterday, with Sebastian's Blainey Bear, he noted. The chauffeur had delivered the brat of a package just after lunch. Too soon for her afternoon nap, but late enough for her to have missed lunch and she was in a typical brat mood. She had the same baby back pack, from when she visited last. She wouldn't let anyone take it, and Sebastian was certain he'd heard the muffles and seen it moving against her grip. Yes, she definitely had his Blainey Bear. And he was determined to get him back this weekend.

Blaine and his new Beau would be arriving much later tonight. Kurt would have to stay and look after his niece, while Sebastian would greet them at the Airport. He was planning on using that break from Kurt's Niece to buy her a present. A gold, heart shaped locket sounded reasonable. One that would hold a photo of Kurt on one side and Blainey Bear on the other.

"Blaine!" Kurt calls out from the tv set. "Surprise! Your Dad called me out of the blue and wanted me to …" and Sebastian presses stop this time. Seb wouldn't put it passed Kurt's Niece that she had put the video together and sent it to him. She might be only a little child, but she was a brat bordering on being a smart brat to him. There was definitely a possessed person inside her.

Shane and Reed would be arriving in the morning on their private yacht. The mooring had been organized and everyone was looking forward to some sailing, whilst they visited. Julian and Logan had flown back to New York this morning, after news that Michelle had taken ill. She was the most significant mother figure for Logan, and when she needed him, he'd always be there.

That just left Rachel, Mercedes and their new Beau's. They couldn't commit to a specific time or day, they were enjoying their sight seeing travelling over from Inverloch via Phillip Island and were set to fly via helicopter from there.

Sebastian knew they needed a bigger place, but Kurt loved this one the moment he saw it. "No Sebastian, when people want to visit us, they'll just have to make do with what we have. We've had bigger houses and apartments before. When we're on our own, they're just too big. Unless you're going to do the cleaning, this will be fine. And look at all the extra land we get to experience." It was true, it was a lovely holiday when they were on their own. And the extra land was worth keeping, but it was somewhat cramped when other's visited. But they were all looking forward to playing some cricket. Kurt wanted the grounding games that the locals had told him about. The stereotypical Aussie experiences.

Kurt's Niece wanders in front of the telly, stands and stares at Sebastian. Thumb in her mouth, not quite awake, but sufficiently aware that the death staring competition she has with Sebastian, she is so completely winning. An afternoon nap should last all day and night, in his opinion. He blinks and stands up. At least being taller than her, is something she won't win just now.

There's no reaction from her, of his getting up, just sucking her thumb, holding Blainey Bear very tight, and staring at him with fixed eyes. She yawns and her lids scrunch up, but don't close. He leans passed her, to turn the telly off. She holds Blainey Bear tighter, watches his movements and refuses to budge.

He's taller, older, much smarter. He steps to the kitchen, turns back to look at her, folds his arms and stares down at her. He glances at Blainey Bear, wondering if he should just take him. She sucks her thumb louder, an act of aggression. Her eyes blink as a cute, devil smile forms on this angelic child.

"Sebastian, my niece will be waking up soon." Kurt calls from the front yard. "Can you make her a sandwich and pour her a chocolate milk drink please?"

Sebastian looks out at him and sighs with annoyance. If he'd been asked, where he knew she wouldn't have heard, that would have been fine. "Yeah, sure." Seb calls back, "I'll make the little she devil something." He glares toward her, then turns and goes inside the next room, the kitchen. And he shuts the door, and locks it. Walks to the other doors and locks them too. He opens the window though, the one that looks out on their private beach.

And Kurt's Niece opens the serving divider between the rooms. She sits on a stool, to reach counter height. She puts Blainey Bear on her lap, so he can watch too. Sebastian looks at her as she moves the stack of cook books that had been placed there, to prevent such a viewing pleasure for her.

"Meat paste and pickles, my dear?" he asks her. And he's happy that her eyes pop at this suggestion, thumb fallen out of the mouth that also opened in surprise. And Blainey Bear had nearly been dropped. But the second she felt him start to fall, she grabbed him again.

Roll of the die equals three. The counter is moved three places and the Steal card picked up reads: Coach Beiste's first kiss is with who?

Setting: Three days later.

Waking up early with the sunshine gave Kurt the inspiration to get up. Even though he'd gone to bed as late as 2am, he feels refreshed. He checks the ashes of the bonfire on their beach, from the night before. It was cold, excellent, he was getting the safety practices right.

Going back inside, he leaves the door open and proceeds to open the curtains and windows throughout the living room and kitchen. Reed and Shane are sleeping cuddled up in the far corner, no disturbing them. They'll sleep through so much, they're the heaviest sleepers, that's why they get the living room to sleep in.

Rachel and Mercedes' door is shut, the room is still empty. The girls and their new Beau's had decided to stay in Phillip Island for the V8 car races. Their new Beau's loved the races, preferred the Formula 1's, but enjoyed any car racing. He sighed with disappointment, fairly certain they wouldn't be in time for Christmas lunch.

Blaine and his new Beau, and their daughter, Kurt's Niece were in an adjoining room. The one that was furthest from Kurt and Sebastian's. Unlike his door, their door is open just a little bit. Enough to suggest that someone had been up during the night.

An occasional sea gull can be heard in the not too far distance.

Kurt drinks the rest of his coffee. Relief that he sees only one coffee cup this morning. Shane and Reed had managed to re-live his Dalton Academy Windsor morning rituals, the last two mornings.

This morning Kurt would be making pancakes for breakfast, with fresh squeezed oranges for juice. Influences from his and Sebastian's French adventures were staying in his holiday routines.

Yes this Yule was very special.

Roll of the die equals five: The counter is moved six places and the picture card of Kurt is picked up and on the back it reads: Kurt A baby-faced soprano with a fierce eye for fashion, Kurt knows how to put on a show and stand up for what it right.

Setting: Five hours later.

The Christmas dinner was still cooking, the guests had walked along the beach picking up rough rocks, roughened pieces of glass, a small assortment of washed up rubbish. They're now relaxing on the lounge room floor around a board game.

Sebastian puts his egg-nogg down and throws his die. Kurt's Niece gets up and comes to him. Everyone in the room is transfixed by her. He's leaning on his left hand, Kurt's sitting just behind him, on his left. He puts a hand on Seb's shoulder, comfort and support.

Seb's trying to ignore her. She sits on his right, looking at the board game. Legs crossed with Blainey Bear in her lap, so he can watch the game too. "Your turn Reed."

Reed has his go. "Your turn Shane." Rolls die, moves piece, lands on the square of doing nothing. "Your turn Blaine." Two more turns and then back to Sebastian.

Blaine's new Beau goes to hand the die to Sebastian, Kurt's Niece puts her hand out for them. "My turn." Says Sebastian. She looks at Blaine, blinks and shares thoughts with him.

"Sebastian's turn sweetie." She blinks more. Gentle blinks now, no sign of upset or wonder. But her hand remains and she looks at Blaine's new Beau, eyes fixed and blinks to him as well.

"Okay, sweetie, you give the die to Sebastian then." Standing up she takes the die and looks at them. She turns them over, turns to Sebastian and puts Blainey Bear down at her feet. Leaving her arms by her side, the left hand holding the die and the right one clenching to a fist.

Sebastian looks at Blainey Bear. He could take him now and then they'll be a scene. Instead he chooses to look back up at her, with questioning eyes.

They look at each other for what seems like an eternity for everyone else in the room. She wipes her thumb dry. Hands him the die, he reaches out wondering what her next move will be. Clenched fist, she could do anything, he'd been on the receiving end of her slaps before.

He'd seen her throw many tantrums. This was new territory. She'd left Blainey Bear vulnerable.

"Thank you, for the die. What about…"

Roll of the die equals twelve: The counter is moved eight places and the card reads: Which member of the Glee Club did Mercedes invite to come live with her family?

Setting: Next morning.

Shane and Reed had left early, when every one was still sleeping. They had to make good use of the clear weather. Mercedes, Rachel and their new Beau's had arrived for dinner last night. They didn't stay longer, they were on their way to Lorne. This morning would see celebrations that the new Beau's had been specifically invited to.

Kurt had been a little disappointed but he gave allowances to his girls. They were glad to have caught up, just for a moment of their big year.

Sebastian and Blaine's new Beau were packing up the hire car. Kurt and Blaine are enjoying a quiet moment in the kitchen. Kurt's Niece is in the loungeroom on her own, watching the Christmas lights.

Under the tree is a big box with pretty wrapping paper on it. She recognizes this one from Kurt. She walks over to the window ledge, reaches up on tippy toes and looks out. Sebastian is talking, near the car. Arms moving with conversation, laughter and smiling when it's her Daddy's turn to talk.

She wobbles down to standing again. Goes to the big box and reads the name. Dearest Seb, love Kurt Xx Oo. Looking around to see if anyone else is watching her, no!

She quickly rips the paper open and pulls the box top off. Reaches in, and pulls out Blainey Bear mark 2. Puts her Blainey Bear in it's place. "Yeah, and then…." Kurt and Blaine are walking through the room. Standing in front of the box, looking but it's okay, they've gone by and haven't noticed her.

She hurriedly tidies it all up. Goes to the front door and watches Seb and her Daddy talking more. Looking out, they look happy.

Back inside, while trying to wash something off Blaine's shirt, Kurt and Blaine enjoy a Christmas pash. Hard not to, their chemistry gets the better of them at times. Never further than pashing on. Both knowing their other half will be in for a treat tonight, or maybe the afternoon, or as soon as practical.

Sighs of delight, sounds of wanting, breathless moments of confusion.

Kurt's Niece drags the chair to the cold fireplace. Reaching up, she grabs the snow globe. Sitting down, shakes it and watches all the white pieces fall gently. Hops down and walks to Blaine coming in the room. Hands up, please pick me up?

"What you got there sweetie?" She passes it to him, he shakes it and gives it back to her. She points for Blainey Bear and cuddles into his shoulder. "Come on then time to go."

As they go to the car, Blaine carefully swaps her Blainey Bear for the one Sebastian has hidden behind his back.

All four gentlemen swap goodbyes, thanks for coming, speak later, ring me when you get there? Kisses for Kurt's Niece from three of them. Sebastian just waves at her and she blinks at him.

As the car reaches the Airport, Sebastian puts his Blainey Bear on the counter. He looks at it, something isn't right with it's eye. Looking closer, the sewing is coming undone. As he lifts up the eye the material starts to rip. "What the hell!"

"Didn't you give Blaine the other one, the fake?"

"Yeah, that was the one you gave me last night."

"No, the one I got last night I put under the tree for you. It's still wrapped up in it's box."

He continues "I didn't give you anything, another one." They look at each other with disbelief. Kurt goes to the tree, and picks up the opened box. And here is Blainey Bear mark 3.

"But I slept so well, just thinking I had Blainey Bear…."

Setting: Glee bosses conference table.

Mr RM, Mr Whatever his name is and the other one have just left the room.

Unique, Brett, Sugar and Joe are left behind. "Hurry up!" Says Unique. "Yo dude, you're like taking so much time!" "Joe I think I love you." He looks up from what he's been doing, staring at Sugar in disbelief. "Finished!"

Setting: Glee bosses lap top reads: You just got fraped by jobelle516. Have a lovely Christmas everyone. mwah!

When the Glee bosses come back and pick up their lap top, it is literally dripping with Klaine love hearts, that when they hit the floor turn into rose petals.

Extra author notes from a kute little author: I loved the last ep 8. It was fun. Kurt was so flirty and fun. Really, really kute, adorable even. I'm lucky enough I get to record it and watch it back later, again and again. I can see why other's were like "What the hell?" I did the same, but I paid attention when she said the necessary words at the beginning.
Trigger warnings would have been nice to have been mentioned. Any way, love you all. Hope you enjoyed my adaptation of ep 8. Answers will be in the next posting.
