Two sides of Personalities

Chapter One

"Seth! Seth!" Mom shouted as he slowly opened his eyes. "Get your butt up! You'll be late for the bus!"

Seth opened his eyes slowly and wiped them to help him wake up a little better.

"Is it really the middle of August already?" Seth asked himself out loud as his mother came in through the door.

"Come on. You're going to be late. I'm working late too but, it's only seven. You need to get ready. Take a shower, get dressed, eat breakfast and brush your teeth." Mom ordered as Seth slowly got out of bed.

'Ugh! I don't know why I'm even going. I remember a couple of days ago, I wanted some awesome adventure but, I'm going to a stupid school… Just like I've always been.' Seth thought as he opened his closet and found his uniform the school sent him a couple days ago.

He took out the uniform and laid on his bed as he grabbed a towel. He walked towards the bathroom and closed the door. Soon after, he got out of the shower and went to his room to change. Next, he came out of his room and his mom saw him.

"I think it looks good on you." She said as she was passing by.

"It's uncomfortable… I don't like it." Seth replied.

"Ah… Quit being such a baby and just get to the bus stop." She said as she went into a different.

"Fine… See ya later. Love ya mom" Seth said as he grabbed his bag full of supplies, school stuff and extra clothes.

He ran out the front door and headed towards the directions to where the invitation said to go. After a while, Seth makes it to the stop to find a bus just waiting for him. He walks up to and looks at the door. The doors open for him and he hears the bus driver's voice.

"Are you Seth Guzman, the American transfer student?" The bus driver asked him.

"Yeah… That's me." He answered back.

"Well… Get on then. But, the school you're going to is a scary ass one." The bus driver said as Seth got in the bus and took a seat.

"What do you mean scary?" Seth asks.

"Oh… You'll find out." He replies as he starts to chuckle.

'Whoa! A little creepy there. What does he mean of scary? Schools can't really be scary… Unless… The teachers… Are the staff scary? Whatever… Better wait to find out.' Seth thought as he slowly drifted off to sleep.

(REMEMBER TO REVIEW!)

After a good ten minutes, Seth woke up from the noise of the bus stopping.

"We're here already?" Seth asked the bus driver as the doors opened.

"Yup… This the end for me here." He replied to Seth.

"Wow… Didn't know it would be so quick… Anyway.. Thanks." Seth tells him as he gets out of his seat and steps off the bus.

"One last thing kid." The bus driver says as Seth turns around. "Remember… Yokai Academy is a scary ass school… If I were you… I'd watch my back."

Seth just stares at him while looking a little nervous.

"T-thanks? I guess… I should go now… Yeah… Places to go… Classes to get to." Seth said as he runs off like a speeding bullet towards the lifeless forest.

'I wonder how all of this is going to turn out. He probably won't even last a week." He thought as the bus goes back into the tunnel.

'What the hell? That's perfectly fine to remind someone that the school is going to be scary. Perfectly fine!' Seth thought as he was still running until he was out of breath. 'Whoa man! Need to take a breather… Is there a power line around here?'

He looks around for one, but finds not one at all except for dead trees and branches with the tree's roots sticking out of the ground.

"*Crack crack*" Was the sound of branches breaking as Seth gets spooked and turns around to seek out the noise.

He sees a bat just flying into the air and not doing any harm to anyone.

'Oh thank god… Hahaha… For a moment there… I thought it was going to be a monst-' Seth thought as he felt something hit the back of his head. "OW!"

Seth, a bike and a girl all rolled across the ground. He rubs his head to make the pain go away while his eyes are closed from the pain.

"Ow! That freaking hurt… What the he-" Seth says as he opens his eyes to see a beautiful pink haired girl on her knees rubbing her head with her eyes closed.

She opens her eyes, sees Seth and blushes.

"Oh… I'm very sorry… I didn't see where I was going. You're bleeding!" She said as she pulled out a handkerchief and started to get close to his face.

'I'm bleeding?' Seth thought as she leaned closer.

"You're scent… Smells… So good… Can't… Help myself." She says as she bites onto his neck and starts to literally suck his blood with her eyes closed as she slurped.

"AAHHH!" Seth screamed as blue electricity danced around her.

He was trying to push her from the pain… It took a while until the pink haired girl stopped sucking and let Seth go from her teeth.

"What was that about?" Seth asked her.

"Hey… Do you like vampires?" She asks him with her head down looking worried.

"Well… My mom has told me stories when I was little… I always felt scared but, as I am now… It would be freaking awesome to have a vampire friend." Seth said with happiness. 'Especially since I have these electric powers. Heh.'

She looks up at him and just stares at him for a moment.

"What it is?" Seth asks.

"What if I told you… That if… I was a vampire." She replied.

"... That's awesome!" Seth said as his face had a huge smile on it.

At that moment, she instantly hug tackled him to the ground with her on top of him. Seth instantly blushed at that.

"Would you like to be my friend?" She asks him straight foward.

"Are you a vampire?" Seth replies.

"I am." Pink haired girl responded.

'She probably isn't but, I'll go with it.' Seth thought. "Then sure… I'll be your friend."

She hugs him for while and Seth hugs back because he didn't want to tell her to get off. After a couple of seconds, they both get up off the ground and they fully introduce each other.

"So… What's your name?" Seth asks the pink haired girl as he helps her pick up her bike.

"My name is Moka Akashiya. What's yours?" Moka said.

"My name is Seth Guzman." Seth said as they start to walk again.

"An American name? So, you're a transfer student?" Moka asked him.

"I guess so… Wait, how can you understand me?" Seth asked Moka.

"All monsters can understand humans and other monsters. It's as if all us know the same language… Don't you know this?" She said.

"... Yeah… I guess I forgot." Seth lied as he smiled.

"That's okay… I guess all of us just get used to it." Moka said as they finally got onto school grounds.

"Well… This is it… I'll see you later." Seth said as he waved and began to walk away.

"See ya." Moka said as she did the same.

Later that day, Seth was trying to find his class and was having a hard time. He kept walking around the building, inwards and out. He stopped and asked a teacher of which class he's supposed to be. Seth soon found out where his class was and headed straight for it. Seth opened the door and found a class full of students, a teacher and one open seat by the window.

"Hello… Is this room 1-4?" Seth asked.

"Yes is it… Are you the American transfer student?" The teacher asked him. "My name is Ms. Nekonome."

"Yeah." He said as she guided him to be up in front of the class. "Nice to meet you."

"Well then, introduce yourself." Ms. Nekonome.

"Nice to meet everyone here… My name is Seth Guzman." Seth said as bowed to everyone and walked to one of the seats there.

"That guy smells weird." A boy student said.

"He looks cute." A girl student said.

Seth heard the others whispered rumors.

'I just got here and everyone's already spreading rumors. School never changes.' Seth thought as he smiled to himself.

As he got there, he noticed Moka was sitting behind the seat he was sitting.

"Didn't know you had this class Moka. Sup." Seth said as he sat down.

"Hey Seth. You have this class too?" Moka said as she paid attention to him.

"Yeah… Look here." Seth said as he handed her his schedule.

"Yes. We have the same classes together." Moka said happily.

"Nice." Seth said as Moka handed back his schedule and Seth turned back around to face the teacher.

"Now class. You will need to learn the rules of our school. Rule number one: You can not tell others what monster you are." Ms. Nekonome said as Seth turned around to Moka.

Seth just started at her wide eyed as he turned back around to write something on a piece of paper and handed backward to Moka.

'We best not mention that you told me what are you huh?' The note said.

"Rule number two: You are not allowed to turn into your monster form on school grounds but, only if it is for an emergency." Nekonome said as Moka wrote down on the piece of paper and handed it upwards to Seth. Seth grabbed it while Nekonome was writing down the third rule.

'Yeah. Let's not say anything. We could get into big trouble if we do.' The not said.

Seth put the piece of paper back in his notebook and left it there.

"Rule number three: No going to the Human World, you may only go if it's for a field trip." Ms. Nekonome said as a student raised his hand. "Hold on, let me see which student you are."

Ms. Nekonome looked through her attendance book and found what the person's name.

"Oh. Alright, Saizou Komiya. What's your question?" She asked as Saizou put his hand down.

"Can't we just eat the smelly humans. I mean, come on! We're monsters. We're way stronger than them. What's the point of cooperate when we can just eat them. But maybe, we can keep a quite a bit of human girls. There is another way to eat them." Saizou said with an evil smile.

Seth was frowning as he felt his electricity dance around inside his mind.

'What is up with this guy!? He's pissing me off with his point of balancing the humans and monsters.' Seth thought as he just stared out the window with a frowning face.

"This school is meant for monsters like you to know what it feels like to be in a human school. You need to experience it. After you graduate, you are allowed to go to the human world and live out your lives." Ms. Nekonome said as she went onto the last rule. "Now. Rule number four: Once you're in the human world, you are not allowed to turn into your monster form."

"That's all for today! Time for lunch! Meow meow." Ms. Nekonome meowed as the bell rang and she walked out of class.

The day went on with Moka dragging Seth around the school like a ragdoll. They both seemed to have the same classes, even lunch time. Moka and Seth walked towards a vending machine to get something to drink since it was lunch time. Moka put in her money and got a tomato juice can while Seth used his money to get a can of grape soda. They sat down on a bench and Moka started to open her can and drink.

Seth just sat there wondering about whether to tell Moka that his power is to control, blast out and suck in electricity by just focusing and using his hands.

"Is something wrong Seth?" Moka asked as she looked at the side of his face.

"It's nothing." Seth said as he opened his can of a beverage and started to drink.

Moka smiled as she did the same.

"Well hello. What're you guys doin'?" A certain someone said as he peaked around one of the columns.

"Pssshhhhh!" Was the noise Seth made as he spit out his grape soda.

(I don't know what the noise is. If you do. Let me know in the review or PM me because it's been bothering me for a while. I had to guess.)

"My god! Where did you come from!?" Seth shouted as he stared at the person coming out of his hiding spot. "Oh… It's just you… Saizou right?"

"Yeah… I have a question… Moka? Why do you hang out with this loser?" Saizou said as he tried to make himself sound cool.

Boys, girls and even a couple of teachers were leaning up on the windows to see what was happening. Some them even opened them up to hear.

"Don't call Seth that. He is not a loser!" Moka shouted back with her now standing up.

Seth stood up as well and he put a hand on her shoulder.

"Moka… I'll handle this." Seth said as he started walking up to Saizou.

"What is your deal? What do you want with Moka? If you have any problems with me or her, then come talk to me." Seth said seriously as he looked up at Saizou a little.

"My problem is that… You're always around that hot chick… Moka Akashiya… I want to make her mine! If you don't have a problem with THAT! Then meet me off of school grounds by the scarecrow right when school ends today." Saizou said as he walked away.

Moka started walking up to him and tugged a little.

"You're not going to fight him? Are you?" Moka asks sweetly.

"I will… For my honor, yours and to make sure he doesn't take you." Seth said seriously to Moka's jaded green eyes. "Come one… Let's go back to class."

Again, the day went on with Seth and Moka just doing their thing, going to different classes until the end of day hits.

***RING!***

The whole class got as each student eventually left to go to the school dormitories. Both Seth and Moka got up and started to head towards the door.

"Please… You don't have to do this. Let's just talk to him tomorrow." Moka says.

"Nope… The funny thing is… I want to do this. It's been a while since…. I've used a couple of tricks." Seth said as he walked out of the room with Moka just standing in front of the open door.

'What does he mean… A couple of tricks?' Moka thought as she followed after him.

Seth and Moka walked through the dead forest to find Saizou waiting by the scarecrow and the beautiful red sea.

"Seems like you did come. I thought you were gonna ditch out… Anyway… Now that you're here… Let's get this done and I can take my Moka." Saizou said with an evil smile.

"Fine… Bring it on!" Seth shouted as his brown eyes turned blue.

"HAHAHAHAHA!" Saizou laughed evilly as his body started transforming.

His body became enlarged as his top uniform shirt tore off. His body also emphasized some bones on his body.

"Oh…. Shit." Seth said, unknowing that that was Saizou's monster form. "Well this is going to take a while."

Seth dashed towards Saizou as he braced himself. Saizou launched a fist and Seth dodged it easily. He went behind Saizou, jumped and put his left hand on Saizou's right shoulder. Seth finally launched his right knee to Saizou's face. Seth got off quickly and got away in short time.

"Damn!" Seth said as he notice it did nothing. 'I wonder… Will I have to use my powers? I'll just wait a little longer.'

"Go Seth! You can do it!" Moka shouted, encouraging Seth on in his battle.

Seth faced her and gave her a thumbs up and a smile. Saizou noticed this quickly and punched him straight in the face that sent him flying towards Moka.

Moka caught him in time and both of them fell on the ground. Saizou slowly walked up to the both them as Moka held onto Seth tightly.

"Hahaha! Time to end this." Saizou said as he grabbed Seth away from Moka with ease.

"Please! Leave him alone!" Moka pleaded as Seth looked unconscious.

Saizou dragged him towards the red sea until he was right on the edge. He lifted Seth up over the red water and he started punching him in the stomach multiple times, making Seth spit up blood. His blood splattered on Saizou's face.

"See you later… Punk. HAHAHAHA!" Saizou laughed evilly as he licked the blood from his face and dropped Seth into the water. 'Hmm…. Taste like… Human blood but, different. It's really good though… But now, time for that Moka chick.'

Seth was floating in the red sea and slowly started to come to as he heard Moka's screams and cries for him.

'Moka!' Seth thought as he felt anger dwell up inside his mind and body. 'I won't let him… Hurt her!'

Seth slowly started to swim towards the rocks and climbed his way up. His clothes started to dry off quickly.

'Guess that's something new here. I like it.' Seth thought as he looked up. 'What the hell is that?'

He looked up to see a dangling rosary.

*Flashback*

"If I were to take this off… I would become a mean, powerful and scary vampire." Moka said as they were both on top of a building.

"Huh… Really? Sounds pretty freaking sweet." Seth said with a smile as Moka felt more loved.

She hugged Seth but, what he didn't know that was that Moka was slowly biting on his neck and drinking some of his blood.

"AHH!" Seth screamed as he got her off. "Please give me a warning next time."

"Sorry. Hehe." Moka laughed as she stuck out a little bit of her tongue.

*End Flashback*

'That's it!' Seth said as he grabbed Moka's rosary and yanked it off with ease.

The sky instantly turned dark as the moon stayed blood red. Seth started to notice that bats were forming Moka's body on the ground. He fully climbed himself back up with Moka and Saizou. One after another, each bat slowly came off until their was no more. Moka slowly stood up but, it didn't look like her at all. This Moka has a much more scary and serious demeanor with red eyes that has slits in them instead of rounded pupils. She also has silver hair that shined in the night.

'Whoa… Did not see that coming.' Seth thought as he looked back at Saizou with his anger leaving him.

Saizou was in complete fear. He was trembling like a leaf in the wind.

"HA! What's wrong now Saizou! How about you get your ass over here and I'll show you something different!" Seth shouted with a confident smile.

Moka looked back at Seth with a serious and angry face.

"I-I can't be-believe it… It's a… It's a… An S-Class Vampire… If I can beat her, then I'll be the toughest guy on campus! Hey Moka! Get ready! Because when I'm done with you, I'm going to make you my bitch!" Saizou said.

This instantly set off a nerve in Seth's mind.

"What did you say?" Seth said with his eyes turning into different types of colors and electricity started dance around but, this wasn't his blue electricity, it was mixing as it was dancing around him. "What did you fucking SAY!?"

"I said…. I'm going to make her my bitch!" Saizou shouted as Moka just stared at Seth with awe.

'What's… What's going on with him? What kind of monster is he?' Inner Moka thought as she just stared, not at his electricity but, his eyes.

She could tell they were filled with rage but, it looked so unstable. Seth closed his eyes as his electricity stopped all of a sudden.

"Brace yourself Saizou Komiya… I am going to destroy you with every inch of my power as I can." Seth said as he opened his eyes again to reveal complete dark red eyes.

Red electricity danced around him as he slowly started walking forward to Saizou.

"Bring it… You little punk!" Saizou shouted as he ran towards Seth. "I'll take you out easily, then I'm after Moka!"

Seth disappeared instantly as Inner Moka and Saizou wondered where he went.

"Rahhhh!" Seth shouted as he came up from behind.

Seth put both of his hands around Saizou's skull as he started putting electricity all and in around his body, shocking him. This kept going to for a couple seconds. Finally, the red electricity dispersed and Seth launched his knee upwards to the back of Saizou's skull which sent him skidding towards the ground and towards Inner Moka.

"Hmm… Is it finally my turn?" Inner Moka finally said her lines as Seth stared up at her with red electricity dancing around him like crazy.

"I'm not finished with him yet." Seth said seriously with his red eyes meeting hers.

"Too bad… Better luck next time… For you Saizou… Know your place!" Inner Moka shouted as she launched him up in the air, waited for him to come down and kicked him straight in the face that sent him flying towards Seth.

Seth dodged by easily taking one step to the left and Saizou past next to, hitting the ground and creating a crater. Seth never laid his eyes off Inner Moka's eyes as he walked up to her and picked up her rosary.

"Who are you?" Seth asked.

"I'm still Moka… Just a different personality… A 'real' personality." Inner Moka said.

"I… I don't get it." Seth said as his electricity faded away but his eyes were still the same.

"It's alright… You'll find out sooner or later. See ya around." Inner Moka said as she bit into his neck and took a one second sip.

"OW! Hey!" Seth shouted as he had his eyes closed when it happened.

He opened them up to see Moka's body that had her pink hair on the ground.

"Moka!" Seth shouted as he picked her up and started to give her a piggyback ride towards the school dormitory.

'Huh… Everything looks different.' Seth thought as the sky turned lighter and his eyes turned back to brown again.

Sooner or later, Seth got Moka to the girls side and dropped her off with other girls that can take her too her room. Mostly since boys aren't allowed in the girls dormitory without their permission and same thing with the boys. Seth walked up to where behind the boys side and found him room instantly.

"Oh man… I've always wanted to try this in real life… Here we go!" Seth said out loud as boys and girls around him looked to see him climbing up the building with ease.

(Think of that constant climbing on Assassin's creed: 2 or Brotherhood.)

Seth got to his room, opened up his window, jumped in and closed his window.

"Phew! It's been a long day." Seth said as he prepared his dinner, cleaned himself, ate and went to bed.

"Can't wait for tomorrow." Seth said as he slowly drifted off to sleep.
