Hey guys, I'm sorry about taking so long, I quit track, but then I got sick and writer's block. boo. Well enough excuses, here's the next chapter, sorry about the length and I don't think it's very good, I just barely got it down and done. Eclipse (according to my friend since I've never heard of him, or it, he's made to be equal to Shadow and is called Eclipse the Darkling)

"Sire, I am telling you, there is something strange about the blue hedgehog your son brought back with him."

Shadow frowned and moved closer to the throne room door, peeking inside through one of the many cracks. A thin Black Arms was standing in front of the king and speaking. Black Doom was sitting on the throne with his robes swirling around him.

"Enough Eclipse," The king said, raising his hand, "You may follow the blue knight if you wish, but I suggest you bring proof before accusing Shadow of being responsible."

Eclipse nodded, "Yes, Sire, onto another matter, a strange creature has been seen circling the castle and many of the prisoners are revolting, ones that only days ago were wishing for death are now attacking guards that come close enough."

Black Doom scowled, "Send an executioner tomorrow. We'll simply have to show them what happens to people that disobey my law. For now go and find the blue knight, I wish to speak with him."

Shadow frowned and quickly moved backwards as Eclipse walked through a secret passage and disappeared, quickly taking his own leave to find Sonic.

Sonic gave a sigh of relief and glanced back into the mirror. Upon waking up a second time the blue hedgehog had found that he was no longer a he.

New memories came into play though and she managed to remember how to change appearances.

"Faker!" Sonic jumped and spun around as Shadow suddenly dashed into the room only to collide with her.

She gave a small yelp as she fell to the floor with the fake prince only a few inches above her, hands and legs to the side of her to keep from landing on her.

"Nice ta see ya too Shads." She said with a small smile, glad for her ability to change her voice and hoping that Shadow didn't notice the blush.

Shadow glared at her before getting off and helping her up, "Very funny, I didn't expect you to be so close to the door."

She smirked, "Sure, what's so big that you came in so fast anyways. I didn't think you would miss me that much."

And there's that glare again, "I heard Black Doom speaking to a Black Arm called Eclipse. Eclipse suspects you of something and is under orders to bring you to speak with the king."

Sonic snorted, "So… From what I've heard he doesn't suspect much himself. 'Sides I can handle myself."

Shadow frowned as he walked closer, "That may be so, but I don't wish to see you harmed." He stopped and tilted his head, bringing a hand up to her forehead, "Are you alright? Your face is red."

Sonic felt more blood rush to her face as she ducked her head, "I'm fine, just a bit tired. We should get going, you wanted to show me something, right?"

Shadow nodded and walked over to the dresser, pulling out the dark green cloak Sonic had worn earlier and a black one for himself, "We're going for a walk outside." He said, as he draped the cloak over peach shoulders and pulled the hood over blue quills, carefully position the cloak so that barely any of the blue hedgehog was visible. Strange I could've sworn Sonic wasn't quite so thin, he almost feels like a girl.

"I can get dressed myself." Sonic said, feeling a blush working it's way onto her face.

Shadow chuckled next to her ear, "I don't doubt that Faker, but I don't want anyone to know that it's you." Maybe if I'm a bit more forward he'll notice before anyone else tries or before we get home…

"Why, wanna keep me all for yourself?" Sonic questioned back with a smirk, placing a gloved hand on her hip.

"Perhaps I do." Shadow answered back with his own smirk and chuckle, watching as the red appeared on his rival's cheeks with a vengeance, "Ready to go?"

Sonic nodded and followed as Shadow put on his own cloak and walked out the door. Once outside Sonic smiled and took a deep breath as the afternoon sun weaved through the threads of her cloak down to blue fur.

"There's a clearing in the woods I found, race you there?" Shadow asked with a smirk.

Sonic nodded and quickly got into a runner's position as Shadow did the same.

"On your mark…" She began, shifting red shoes farther apart and feeling the dirt through white gloves.

Shadow smirked back at her and slowly began to feed Chaos Energy into his shoes, "Get set…"

Emerald and blood red eyes connected for a few seconds as the world slowly disappeared, "GO!" Both yelled in union.

Shadow immediately dashed ahead using his shoes and heard the soft pad of his rival's feet behind him as the two vanished into the forest, the two runners barely disturbing the flora underneath their feet as they disappeared.

Prince Shadow cursed underneath his breath and quickly pushed the blue hedgehog next to him into a shadowed doorway, also hiding a few seconds later, as the fwap, fwap, fwap, of something went by. Followed by a thud at their doorway as someone landed and opened the door.

Quickly he shoved the boy in front of him and continued moving down the hallway.

"Where are we going?" Sonic whispered once they made their way outside.

"To find out where we are and locate their headquarters. If we can get back to my father we should be safe from whatever they are planning."

Sonic frowned, "I don't exactly trust your father…"

Shadow snorted as the two walked into the bushes, "I don't either, but he seems to be our safest option."

"This place is amazing!"

Shadow smirked and leaned against one of the many trees as he watched the blue hedgehog that was dashing around the clearing, "You're going to get yourself dizzy."

Sonic stopped and glared at the red-cloaked prince before suddenly jumping into one of the trees and vanishing. Shadow snorted and rolled his eyes as he also vanished, watching the other from higher up in one of the trees. Spotting something in the distance he sent one more glance towards his friend before heading in that direction through the trees.

Sonic stopped and jumped to the ground in confusion, searching around for her friend. She spun around in a circle before frowning and crossing her arms, "This isn't funny, Shadow!"

"What isn't funny?" A voice asked.

Sonic gasped and spun around before relaxing, seeing who had asked the question. The other was an orange-red fox wearing leather clothes, with her bright red hair cut shaggy and on top of her head. Sonic gave a small smile, "My friend just ditched me, I think, or he's horrible at jokes."

The fox laughed, "I feel you there, boyfriends are just terrible sometimes."

"Boyfriends?!"

She flushed, "Sorry, I assumed he was your boyfriend. Your magic is terrible, I can see straight through your disguise, you might as well just stop wasting energy."

Sonic pouted and a flash went through the clearing, revealing a female blue hedgehog in a dark green cloak in her place, "Alright you were right on one thing, but Shadow isn't my boyfriend. We're just friends, he doesn't even know I'm female. My name's Sonic."

"Fiona Fox. It's nice to meet you."

"You too. So what are you doing out here?"

Fiona laughed, "I live out here sweetie, with the other rebels."

"Rebels?" Sonic silently groaned as rain started to fall through the trees and onto them while the fox sighed.

"Come back to the camp with me. We've got some shelter there."

"Thanks." Sonic trailed along behind the fox, wrapping her cloaked tighter around herself, "Aren't you cold?"

"Leather's a bit stronger and more waterproof than regular fabric. I'm one of the few that wear it though. Won't your friend be worries when he gets back?" Fiona asked, suddenly changing the conversation.

"He'll find me eventually." He always does. "So you guys are the 'Rebels' who are you rebelling against?"

Fiona smirked and simply led her into the camp, wooden shelters were built next to and in the trees, when she suddenly whistled, "'Ey Rob! I brought the prince's girlfriend!" Fiona smirked and turned back to her as another cloaked figure along with a few other Mobians began to venture out of the shelters, "King Doom of course, and you just gave us an advantage."

Shadow cursed underneath his breath as he pulled the hood of his cloak over his quills. He'd left Sonic behind a few minutes ago when he'd seen signs of a campfire, to see if it was a friend or foe and had seen the sudden activity increase as his friend was led into the camp.

The hedgehog sighed and carefully gathered his energy, "Chaos… Control!"

...And there you go. Listen I have a question and I need some help, I've been searching for this story for over a year now and I can't find it and I can't remember what it's called, I think (pretty sure) it's in fanfiction and it's one of the first I read.

In the story Sonic and Shadow were already together it started with a dream or something where Sonic had where he had told Sonia and Manic not to come looking for him, than shattered his medallion. Sonia and Manic came looking for him and Shadow found out. Sonic had a job at club Rouge as a singer or Dj or something, so there was a song like every chapter. Sonic had been adopted by Queen Aleena and her husband and had been ejected from the ARK along with Shadow (who didn't know this) Sonic was also dependent on Chaos Energy and had to complete a ritual, which he wouldn't get another chance for for ten years, or he would die. He fused with... (I can't remember the name) with Knuckles help. and Eggman both turned them back to normal and made it so that Sonic wouldn't die again.
