Prologue
Ivan leaned back on his throne, an amused smirk forming on his face. All around music can heard and in front of him eleven maidens danced tiredly to the music. Then one of maidens had stopped dancing and was about to step out. But then she noticed that Ivan was looking right at her. She paled and immediately started to dance again. Ivan chuckled.
"You're dancing beautifully, dearies!" Ivan called out to the maidens,
Another maiden fixed Ivan with a furious glare. But the demon king ignored her. He waved a clawed hand and a servant appeared, bearing a tray of wineglasses. Ivan nodded to the servant as he picked up a wineglass. As Ivan sipped, he looked at the maidens.
"You know," Ivan said slowly.
The servant leaned in.
"I don't think eleven maidens is enough. Perhaps I shall get another maiden."
As the servant snickered, the maiden who had stopped dancing before happened to be near Ivan and had heard his statement. She looked at Ivan in horror, but he didn't notice. Instead, he flicked a sharp finger and a vision appeared before him. In the vision was a young woman with shoulder length wavy hair and sapphire eyes that sparkled with excitement. Ivan's smile became more chilling.
"Ah yes. Another maiden shall join us."
