I decided to try and see if I could find the inspiration to continue writing. Guess I did.

When Hermione walked towards the Gryffindor table on Monday morning, she had the feeling that something big was going to happen today. Sitting down next to Neville, the owls with morning post came in. The owl with her copy of the Daily Profit landed in front of her. After giving him a piece of bacon and taking the paper from him, he took off.

"Holy fuck," Neville proclaimed, while looking at the front page of the Daily Profit. "They let her go!"

"Who?" Harry asked looking up from his breakfast.

"Bellatrix Black"

"Who is she?"

"She was one of the most dangerous followers of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named." Neville said, looking very pale. "She also tortured my parents, until they went insane."

"Do they say why they let her go?" Ron asked.

Hermione looked down and started to read out loud so everybody could listen.

"Yesterday, the Ministry of Magic let us know that they were going to set Bellatrix Black free. The reason they gave for this, was that new information was released about the actions of Miss Black. Albus Dumbledore, headmaster of Hogwarts and leader of the organisation known as the Order of the Phoenix, came forward whit this information. He let the ministry now that Miss Black has been undercover for the order. Also has Miss Black submitted her memories of what she has done in those years? Why they decided to come forward with this know and not sooner, they didn't tell."

"They mention nothing about her role in everything they blame her for." Hermione said to the rest of the students who were listening to her.

Everybody looked shocked and started to talk to each other about what they read.

Meanwhile at the head table Minerva was also reading the article about Bellatrix. Looking up at Albus, she looked ready to kill him.

"I'm sorry, I planned to tell you before breakfast, but there were some things I had to take care of." Albus said.

"Wasn't there an enouncement you had to make," Minerva said coldly, while looking back towards the students. Clinking her glass to get their attention, she saw Albus standing and mounting sorry towards her.

"Good morning, students. You have all read or heard about the release of Miss Black by now." Albus began. "What I can tell you about it for now, is that for the things she is most know for, she didn't actually do. If you have any questions about this, you can ask her in the coming weeks." He said, looking at Neville. "She will be teaching the new duelling classes, starting today."

At that moment the doors of the Great Hall opened and a woman, completely dressed in black, walked in. While looking at all the shocked faces of the students and teachers she said, "Never seen a woman in black before?"

Some students and even some teachers started snickering.

Walking towards the head table she stopped next to Hermione and Neville. "I am very sorry about what happened to your parents, and I want you to know that I was not the one who did that to them. If you want to know more about that evening, come find me."

Continuing her way to the head table, she looked at her ex-girlfriend, Minerva. The look she got back confirmed her suspicion, she was a dead women walking, if she didn't look out.

"Welcome, Miss Black," the headmaster said. "Everybody please welcome Professor Black, our new teacher for duelling."

The students started to applause one by one. After a few seconds most of the staff followed them in welcoming her to Hogwarts.

Minerva was shocked and didn't applaud for her ex-girlfriend. She pointed a very angry glance at Albus while trying to hold back the urge to curse him. Looking to her right, she saw Bellatrix sitting down next to Hagrid. When their eyes connected, she tried to convey all her anger with her eyes. By the look she got back from her, her conclusion was that she succeeded.

While sitting down, Bellatrix looked around and found Minerva looking at her with pure hatred. She looked back sad. Hoping to just being able to talk to Minerva, flew out of the door. This was going to be hell. She looked at Dumbledore for permission to speak to the students. When he nodded, she stood tried to get everybody's attention.

"if I could please have your attention? I know a lot of you are wondering what is going on. Almost twelve years ago, Professor Dumbledore asked me if I would be willing to act as spy. I gave it some time to think over because it would mean leaving behind everyone I loved. I had to pledge legends to a men I resented en marrying one I had hated for my whole life. I decided to do this to try and keep everyone as save as possible, while trying to find a way to defeat Voldemort." As soon as she said his name almost everyone looked like they were about to faint.

"If you people can't even say his name, how are we to ever defeat him? I know most of you believe he is dead, but if that would be the case the dark mark on my arm would be gone, it isn't. one day he will be back, we just don't know when. Now as I said I decided to do it. After leaving Professor Dumbledore I broke all my ties with the light and focused on earning his trust. I know that most of you must have heard stories about me. Al lot of them were made up by Dumbledore and spread among the light. All the people I supposedly killed, don't exist. The torture was a whole other story. Some of it I will tell, most I won't. There are some thing you have to do in front of Voldemort to earn the dark mark. I'm not proud of it but I had to do it. I will tell you this, I never killed or tortured anybody if I was in the position to hide them. Tomorrow the Ministry will release a list of what I did and didn't do. If anyone has any questions feel free to look me up and ask them. I can't guarantee an answer but I will try. Thank you."

After a round of applause people started leaving for the first classes of the day.

Minerva started walking to her office, her first class of that day was after lunch. As she sat down at her desk there was a knock on her door.

"Come in" looking up she saw Bellatrix standing in the doorway. "What do you want?"

"To talk to you." She said while looking around the room. "I'm sorry for the way I left you. I know that doesn't make up for it, but I am sorry."

"You're sorry? For what? Not telling me you were going undercover? Letting me think you left me for him? For not telling me you were pregnant? Telling me I had a daughter that I didn't even know about?" Minerva spat out angry, standing in front of her window. "Or the fact that you told me she died, but now Albus seems to think she didn't?"

"For all of that and so much more, but you need to know that not telling you was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do." Bellatrix said, walking up to Minerva. "And about her being alive, that is true. When she was born Narcissa took her to an orphanage. When she came back she told the dark lord she had died. The coffin we buried is empty."

"I went to her grave almost weekly." Turning towards Bellatrix, she tried to hold back her tears. "I was so angry with you, that I wished you death. But whenever I visited there would be fresh flowers. After a while I only missed you."

"sometimes I would wait in de dark for hours, just to see you." Bellatrix said while wrapping a now sobbing Minerva in her arms. "Just now that I never stopped loving you."

Sometime later, Minerva extracted herself from Bellatrix and sat down at her desk. Gesturing for Bellatrix to take a seat she asked her the question that was taking up her mind since the day before.

"Do you think Hermione is our daughter?"

"Well, I haven't met her yet. But if Albus thinks so, it is a big possibility."

"She has your eyes. And she is so smart." Minerva said looking proud. "during her first class on her first try she got it right. She is already ahead of her classmates. And we're only in the second week!"
