Stalking off with his hands deep in his pockets, he huffed out his chest and mentally cursed out his older brother so hard that he couldn't even let such words out his lips.

Stupid... God darn... Brother.

Glaring at the closest wall, Kaoru couldn't even think of anything, but what he had just done, and the things he was going to do to his brother, those were also unmentionable.

Why did he have to be the only smart one? I mean really, why was his brother so dumb? how did this even happen? he could have sworn he timed everything perfectly, he asked Haruhi politely to tidy his and Hikaru's hosting table since she wasn't doing anything.

And told her he needed to go to class to pick up things, after his brother and his intense brotherly love moment, Hikaru left to fix his hair in the bathroom, and told him he was going to the library up stairs instead of class what he told Haruhi. . Hikaru was suppose to be done fixing his hair, while Haruhi was cleaning up.

So with his brother walking up stairs to find him. Haruhi was going to the library down stairs. . They were suppose to run into each other.. Hikaru was suppose to catch her after he just tripped her on string.. Not Bossanova!

Wedding bells? yeah right, wedding bells for Haruhi and Bassanova!

"Darn it Hikaru," Kaoru pouted, not feeling like cursing anymore as he kicked out his feet while he walked, gulping down his wet throat. "Why can't you do anything right? I mean really? is it that hard?"

What was he going to do now? he still had the string tried to the column, so at least he didn't have to explain anything carrying it around.. And let some other poor soul take the fault for a strange string just sitting there. . Hopefully Haruhi wouldn't notice it...And then... Blame him or Hikaru for it, since, they were kind of jerks like that, and would try to prank her by tripping her with string.

But that wasn't the problem here, the problem was, was that his plan failed.

He was suppose to get Hikaru and Haruhi together with that one pull, but instead, he probably was getting Bossanova closer to his brothers girl. And that's not good.

Well, actually his plan worked out perfectly, so he was good... It was just the wrong pair of people. Instead of his brother, it was just some random person who was walking down the hall at the wrong time

Well actually it was the perfect time, cause if he hadn't have ben walking there, he would have tripped Haruhi and she would have fell right on her face.

Hmm, not really though, cause if Bossanova hadn't have cursed and sounded like his brother, Kaoru wouldn't have pulled the string and Haruhi would have ben spared the fall.

So he was not the one at fault here, he was just innocently trying to get two people to fall in love, or... Admit their feelings.

It was all Hikaru and Bossanovas fault!

They were making him look like an idiot... Why? was this punishment for messing with people's love life? but that's not fair, that's what love doctors do..

Kaoru sniffled slightly as he had fake tears running down his face.. Feeling his heart drop a million miles down as he saw the deep blush on Ritsu's face as he help Haruhi as they were on the floor together.. Knowing Haruhi, she probably wasn't even going to take it to heart, and just apologize to the red head then walk away.

But still, that doesn't matter, that's not the point here. The point is that-

"Kaoru, there you are~"

Oh, well look who it is.

Kaoru turned around, on his heel, still feeling slightly irritated and upset that his brilliant love scheme being ruined by his beloved brother, he wasn't really sure how to think or act at the moment, and kind of took it all to heart.

The youngest Hitachiin twin puckered out his lips and turned around, his eye twitched irritably as he turned around to be greeted by identical golden eyes.. Making him twitched even more.

"Well, well, well," Kaoru sighed, his arms crossed over his chest. "If it isn't Hikaru... My baby brother... Hikaru, Hikaru, Hikaru, my beloved single baby brother, How are you? still single? that's nice, I hope you feel good about your single self... Having fun?"

Hikaru raised his eyebrow as his smirk quickly left his face at his brothers strange attitude.. "Uh... Kaoru?"

"Yes? my beautiful single brother~?"

"Something the matter? I didn't see you in the library... Where's your bag?"

Kaoru's eye twitched as his brother was oblivious to what was at hand here. "Oh, Hika, heh, you... Your the matter."

"...Uh?"

"I just seriously? where were you at bro?!" Kaoru whined dramatically. "What on earth were you doing just now? what took you so long? I could have died and you just... You just weren't there... Why?"

Hikaru's face then fell into concern as he looked at his brothers irritated face. "What?!" He gasped. "What happened!?"

"You happened Hikaru," Kaoru pouted, fake tear rivers streaming down his face again. "It's all your fault.. All I try to do is help and you just, Blow it all up, ka-boom! all gone, thanks Hikaru."

"Wait, slow down there, what are you talking about." Hikaru narrowed his eyes in confusion and placed his hands on his brothers shoulders. "What did you do?"

"Its what you did Hika, or more like... It's what you didn't do."

The eldest Hitachiin twin narrowed one eye and raised his upper lip in suspicion. "Kao, this isn't about Haruhi and Me again is it? you need to calm down bro."

"Well Hika, your just lucky it wasn't the boss who came down the hallway, what were you doing?!"

"I-... I was just taking a shortcut to the library, what were you doing? and what about the boss?"

Kaoru opened his mouth and practically hit the floor as he looked at his brother as if he had just kicked a innocent puppy right in front of him, then just stepped on his heart. "You-... You took a shortcut... To the library?"

"Well yeah, cause that's where you said you'd be wasn't it? the fourth one?"

"..."

He took... A shortcut?

"No, you didn't really, did you? You weren't suppose to take a shortcut, you-...you were suppose to come down this hallway, and catch-... And uh," Kaoru blinked thinking of something to fill his mistake of words. "You were suppose to catch a book I tripped down the stairs but you didn't."

"You tripped... A Book?"

"Yeah, a really cute book, but Bossanova caught it instead!"

"Calm down!"

"I can't!"

"..."

Kaoru huffed up his chest and shooed his brothers hands off his shoulders, Sticking up his nose as he turned on his heel, squeaking the tile, then walked off. "I'll be right back Hika," he said quietly. "I'm going to class, I left something in my desk."

"...Kaoru?" Hikaru whispered, blinking confused as he watched his brother walk away, he heard him curse something under his breath about him making a string all by himself and timing and him taking a stupid shortcut. . Making Hikaru worry about his twins well being, and contemplated on following him. "Kaoru, class is that way!" Hikaru called out to him, Pointing his thumb behind his shoulder.

Kaoru didn't even turn his head around as he narrowed his eyes and threw a hand out to show that he didn't care. "I'm just taking a shotcut!"

"..."

Hikaru blinked a few times and shook his head at his brother and wondered what he was so worked up about but decided that they could just talk about it at home as he shrugged his shoulders and turned around to wait for his brother at the main gates.

All he did was take a shortcut to meet with him in the library.. He gave him clear orders to hurry up, so he didn't take more then two minutes in the bathroom and decided to go up the other staircase, but once he didn't see him there he thought Kaoru had already left.. It didn't make sense.

First Kaoru left all happy and excited for some reason, now he suddenly had an attitude.. Because he didn't catch a book be tripped down the stairs?

How do you trip a book?

Hikaru's head was full of strange thoughts as he wrinkled his nose, and just if your wondering, yes, it is possible to make your brain explode from thinking too much, he had done that multiple times.

Wondering what he had done wrong and what he should apologize to his brother for exactly once they were to get home. Hikaru sighed heavily and turned a corner, heading to the main gates of the school, and when he turned the other corner, he saw something that he wished he hadn't.

Haruhi and Bossanova holding securely on each others forearms.

Her face literally inches away from his face as the red head was bending down. Blushing.

"Uh, Fujioka you alright? that was a nasty fall you just took."

"Um yeah, sorry, I guess I just tripped."

Tripped? that word seems to be throw around quite a lot today.

Hikaru slapped a hand over his mouth as he backed up against the wall around the corner.. His eyes were wide as he saw the blush on his face, ready to run away, and pretend he didn't see anything, but being the nosy Hitachiin he is, he couldn't just walk away from this.

But after un-hiding himself from behind the wall, he heard his brother from behind him.

"Hikaru, wait don't go over-..." Kaoru stopped in mid-sentence coming back from his classroom he was on his way to until he remembered his brother going the exact way were Haruhi and Bossanova were kind of having a moment. "Uh oh..."

Hikaru gulped silently as he turned around to look at his brother. "Kaoru, you want to explain something?"

"Uh... I-... I just remembered that I have everything I needed in my pocket already and didn't need to go to class, so I was following you and-... Oh my gosh is that Haruhi and bossanova?"

Hikaru blinked and took one last glance over his shoulder where he saw Haruhi blushing slightly, and instantly felt his insides combust with jealousy.. But he took a big breath, tried to contain his emotions and turned around, patting his twin on the back. "Come on Kao, we're going home."

Watching his brother walk away, Kaoru blinked and his face straightened up into a line.

Did I just screwed everything up?

"...Coming Hika."

Well that's sucks... I guess its time for plan B

Updates shouldn't be too long now, I need some ideas for Kaoru's great plans to get Hika and Haru together.
