Kaoru could hardly contain himself as he practically leaped out of his seat of his fancy shiny limo, and barely heard his chauffeur say they reached their destination, before he opened the door, only to slam it shut again.

His twin confessed, his twin confessed, his twin confessed, his twin confeeeessed, and now he can't deny~!

Singing that happy tune in his head, Kaoru put away his earphones and Ipod into his hidden pocket of his orange sleeveless hoodie after listening to the same song for the last month that strangely reminded him of him of his brother.

He skipped merrily up the steps of the rickety old apartment and sighed in what felt like relief once he reached the top.. He bit his lip as he enthusiastically drummed his knuckles against the wood waiting a few moments for someone to open it.

Kaoru hummed the tune of the song he was formally listening to as he tapped his foot on the floor boards, usually he was a very patient person, but with time not being an option, he couldn't risk anything.

Hikaru confessed to him, and Haruhi sort of confessed to Hunny sempai, that she likes him sort of.. Now all they needed was to confess to each other, they were so close, and he was kind of on edge.

He rolled his eyes rapping his fist against the door again, he waited a second, contemplating on busting in, remembering that he was a Hitachiin, and that's what they do.. But once he was digging in his pocket for a hair pin to unlock the door, the door knob jiggled and swung open, his hand still raised in mid-busting in, a hair pin still in his finger tips.

"Oh my," A cheery feminine voice sang from the other side of the door frame. "Who do we have here~?"

"Hey Ranka," Kaoru said buoyantly, waving his hand in a friendly gesture, secretly putting away the hair pin he was going to use to bust into the mans house. "It's just Kaoru~" He grinned, telling the womanly man who he was just as he was beginning to look confused.

"Of course you are~" Ryoji smiled, his red hair curled and flung over his shoulder. "What might you be doing here?"

Kaoru bit his cheek, looking down to his wrist at his watch he put on just for this particular event, the time set to timer, looking at how much time he had left to get them to the commoners shopping mall. "Uh, I was just-... Is Haruhi home?"

Ryoji blinked at the young Hitachiin and sighed dramatically in a woe-is-me tone. "Oh yes, the poor dear's in her room, she caught a nasty bug of something while shopping yesterday, why? do you need her?"

"Oh yeah, kinda," Kaoru nodded, looking over the girly mans shoulder and looked into the apartment, feeling the pressure build up inside him. "Um, time is sort of at the essence right now, you know what I mean? could I come in and see her?"

As if ignoring his request on purpose, Ryoji smiled, waving him off without a care in the world. "Where's your brother? what was his name? Hikaru? what are you doing here by yourself?"

"Well yeah, that's kind of why-"

"You know, I was surprised earlier when everyone else came over to see Haruhi, and you two weren't with them."

"Wait," Kaoru blinked, almost in shock as he stuck one hand in his pant pocket, curling his toes in his shoes. "Everyone's ben here already?"

"Yes~" Ryoji nodded, trailing his hand in his cherry red hair as he sparkled, similar to the was Tamaki would, except ten times calmer. "They all left her cute little things here and there, Haninozuka brought her a cute little strawberry cheese cake, her favorite."

"Uh right well, could I-"

"And sweetheart Morinozuka and Kyouya left her a giant vase of flowers, Kyouya was saying something about a debt or something though."

"Yeah, but I really need to-"

"That Suoh kid though, he tried braking into her bedroom! can you believe that? saying how daddy was here to help her get better and stuff, I didn't need to say thing though before Haruhi flat-out told him to go away, she hasn't ben out of her room at all today, not even to eat... Not that its dinner or anything."

Kaoru sighed, feeling the side of his head combust into tiny little fragments of goosy stuff as he listened to Ryoji complain and go on and on about his daughter.. The younger twin could take being ignored anymore in a desperate situation.

"Ranka, listen, I need to see Haruhi, excuse me." Kaoru said simply, walking past Ryoji having no thought of privet property at all in his mind, he blinked once at the small table in the middle of the room, looking at all the things that practically had his friend's name written on it without even looking for the signatures. Just the fact that they looked like they cost thousands of yen.

Ryoji could only blink as he stared at the spot Kaoru was formally standing, he just shrugged his shoulders though and let the door slip through his fingers, turning around to see Kaoru walk up to his daughters bedroom door.

He was about to open his mouth and ask what he was doing, but t was obviously when the youngest Hitachiin twin started knocking on the door.

Having this being his third door to get in his way, Kaoru sighed and knocked on it again when he didn't get an answer. "Haruhi, I know you're in there, come out, we have to go!" He called out, leaning his forehead on the door.

"..."

Kaoru blinked, his eyebrow twitching irritably as he just stared at Haruhi's bedroom door, trying not to be a jerk like his impatient brother. "Haruhi I know your not sick, quit acting helpless, it doesn't suit you."

Ryoji quirked his eyebrow upwards, looking at Kaoru like he was insane, and was about to walk up to him and tell him off and to leave his beloved, sick, daughter alone, when he decided he wanted to watched and have Haruhi yell at him instead, it was funnier that way.

More silence came from the room though, causing Kaoru to sighed, he leaned up against the door with his back and blew air out from his lips making them vibrate. "I know your upset, but I swear, I can explain, Hikaru's just a confused jerk, you can punch him in the face later, heck i'll even hold him down for you."

"..."

"If you're asleep in there I'll just use brutal force, we're are on a schedule girl, we got's go now, We have like... Now we've got twenty minutes to get down there."

"...Kaoru, go away."

"Oh look, see? you're not dead," Kaoru rolled his eyes sarcastically.. Glaring at the opposite wall as he leaned on the door. "Please, we can't keep people waiting Haruhi, it would just be easier if you-"

"Kaoru, what do you want?" Haruhi snapped in a quiet tone from the other side of the door, it sounded muffled, like she was pressing something to her face. "Don't you know to stay away from sick people?"

"But you're not sick," Kaoru whined, "you're upset about Hikaru, I know, but if you just come with me we can fix-"

"Kaoru, I don't want to, just... Go away."

Narrowing his eyes, Kaoru sighed, turning on his heel to face the door again, gripping the doorknob as if planning to open it.. "Look, It's impossible for you to be sick, you were fine yesterday, it takes a few days to get sick from other people, plus you barely said to words to Hikaru that day, after he-... Well, You know."

"..."

He sucked in his bottom lip, looking down at his watch, working out the time it would take to get her out of the house, and the time it would take to get to the mall, then the time it would take them to maneuver around the mall to the particular spot he told Hikaru to meet them at. . Knowing his brother wasn't the most patient of people, he probably wont wait long.

"Haruhi honest, just hurry up and come with me, I'll explain everything in the car, we don't have a lot of time, and if we don't get there soon it will be more hassle for you."

"...Where are you wanting me to go?" She replied quietly, her voice sounding hoarse, he heard a slight sniffle, making Kaoru want to flick his brother in the forehead for some reason.

"I told you, I'll explain everything on the way, we just have to go now, if we don't we'll be late, obviously."

"Well, where ever it is, I don't want to go, besides... If I come anywhere near any body I could get them sick too."

Kaoru sighed dramatically, bringing a finger up to his temple, poking the door with his other hand using his index finger. "Oh really? what exactly did you catch anyway at that outdoor shopping mall? or are you just faking it?"

"...What?"

"What did you end up getting sick with?"

"...I-... I don't know."

"That's what I thought," Kaoru nodded wisely, feeling quite self-satisfied.. Knowing he was all right from the start.. "You're not sick Haruhi, you've just got a bad case of heart-break, and thinking that its something like a cold is a little pathetic if you ask me."

"..."

"Whether you know it or not Haruhi, Hunny sempai told me... That you like him, which is surprising, I mean he's stupid and does stupid things like this, but-..." Kaoru paused, trying not to sound like he hated his brother and didn't love him. "...But, I know why you do, cause he's an idiot you can't help but love, so... Why don't we just go? I promise you can sulk and eat ice-cream on our sofa watching chick-flicks~"

"...Kaoru, just-... Leave me alone, I'll see you at school tomorrow."

"Not an option!" Kaoru declared stubbornly, taking out his hands from his pockets and put his hands to the door, finally turning the knob to her bedroom, forcing it open.. Making Ryoji jump in surprise, and shock.. "That's it, I'm done, you and Hikaru are driving me up the freaking wall."

"Kaoru what are you doing!?" Haruhi gasped, covering her arms over her chest as she was just wearing a thin spaghetti strap white tank-top, and small blank shorts.

"It's okay Haruhi nothing I haven't seen before," he said simply, stepping into her room, he had ben in there before, but this time the curtain was closed making it a little dark in there, quite depressing, it amazed Kaoru that Hikaru was actually the one who made her this way. "Come on, we're going now, you can't refuse any longer."

"Wait, what?!" Haruhi scowled irritably, having Kaoru grab her wrist, pulling her of her dresser where she was sitting, causing the book she was reading, to fall to the floor. "What are you doing?! I can't go anywhere in this!"

"That's okay," Kaoru assured her positively. "I've got a brand new outfit in the car for you, don't worry, Hikaru's gunna love it~"

Haruhi blushed, having Kaoru pulled her out of her room barefoot, passing her confused father as Kaoru led her up to the front door.

"Don't worry, Ranka," Kaoru grinned, tapping the man on the shoulder as they past him. "I'll bring her back later."

"Wait hold on!" Haruhi tried to protest, but just as she said that, the door slammed shut and she was on the outside. "Kaoru, stop, where are we going?"

"Chill out Haru," he smiled lightly, leading her down to his limo he came in, a few common folk walking by it, trying to touch it. "Everything will be right momentarily."

"...What?"

"Honestly, I don't know how you guys got this far without saying anything, I guess its natural though, you both were born just so darn dense."

Haruhi narrowed her eyes as she was stuffed into the limo, hearing Kaoru go on and on about Hikaru, and something about Bossanova and something about Tamaki, and something about cake, but she didn't quite catch-all if it for one, he was talking so fast, and two, she was more worried about her clothes.

Kaoru stopped all his talking to take a deep, much-needed breath. . He looked over at her and noticed her face, a mixture of shock and confusion hidden in it.. It made him laugh.

He looked down and ruffled up her hair a little. Grinning from ear to ear. "You guy's are going to look so cute together~"
