A/N: This is my first time writing a story, so please review and encourage me to write it.

I love Fate series but what I love the most is the Heroics Spirit, that I always want to imagine the interactions with each and reaction to the modern era. I also want to imagine the Modern world's reaction to the heroes too. The list of Heroics Spirits with being from Fate/Apocrypha, Fate/Prototype, Fate/strange fake, Fate/Stay Night, Fate/Zero, Fate/Extra (CCC) and Fate/Grand Order (when it will be released soon in the future). I maybe will put Fate/Koha-Ace if you guys want to see them? Do not start a rant on Nasuverse logic to me. I just want to make a different kind of Fate story. One more thing: there would be no Holy Grail war or any kind of it, It would just be Heroics Spirits interacting with other people.

Update to 7/30/2016: I rewrote the chapter now, as it has more meat to the bone of this chapter now.

Benjamin groaned as he put the heavy box down on the table, curious about what his grandpa sent him to the front door this morning. At the all, he was definitely not a morning person and this was an unusual day for Benjamin's Grandpa to send mail to him in the morning when the mailman had to knock on the door very loudly. That caused him to get up from his bed and walk down in his messy pajamas and sign his name on the delivery signature to confirm this is the right place.

Benjamin opened the top of the box and grabbed what was inside:

A Piece of a black armor, a regular piece of a wood table, a two-piece of ovaloid earrings, an ancient arrow that is blackened by ancient blood, a glass bottle that had a liquid stain on it, a fossil of a snake, an ancient mirror, a bloodstained leaf, a Literature book that is from Colchis, an old Greek shield, a piece of cloth with white and red colors, an old blueprint with words that said 'The perfect human', a golden apple, a golden crown banner, a slingshot, two butcher's knives and scalpels, a black Dirks, a skull mask that has cracks on it, an Egyptian necklace, a jewel pendant, a Harper, a Shard of red cloth, a lump of clay, a flag of the Shinsengumi troop and the last is an old scripture of Zoroaster.

Benjamin's mouth opened wide at this sight, surprised by what he found in the box. "Seriously Grandpa, what the hell is all this stuff?"

So did Grandpa spend half of his life going on trips to collect rare trinkets around the world? Benjamin never understood Grandpa at all. Benjamin rarely saw him that much, but what he did know was that Grandpa was somewhat quiet sometimes and has always lived alone in his home. He was a soldier who participated in World War 2 and the Vietnam War. After that, he became an archeologist who loved to study artifacts and history for some reason.

Sometimes when Benjamin looked at Grandpa's eyes, they were always full of pain and regret. When Benjamin was a young boy, Grandpa and he sat together while he told stories about the aftermath of World War 1, the deadest conflict of World War 2, and the Vietnam War. He also taught Benjamin how cruel the world could be, yet how much good it still contained. That way, he can understand how difficult the world can be when he starts a new life outside of his little home, but also has the courage to be good.

Benjamin smiled at those good memories. He noticed a letter and a book sitting on the table. Benjamin opened up the letter slowly and read what Grandpa said.

"Dear Benjamin,

I hope this letter finds you in good health. Sorry for not being able to chat with you for a long time. Because I have important stuff that needs to be finished, I won't be back for a while. Please read the book when you have the time. It is very important for you and me or even the human beings. There will be more boxes on my door for you to open in the future. No matter what happens now, please take care of my house and my stuff."

Benjamin raised his eyebrows. What was so important about those trinkets? He put down the letter and picked up the book that was labeled "The Holy Grail War." He cast a surprising look and thought, "Is this a fantasy novel or tabletop role-playing game?" While Benjamin was never much into role-playing games, he was into novels, as the book looked like it was good enough to pass the time and was a good read.

He put the trinkets back in the box and carried it down to the basement, which is pretty huge and wide enough to fit more than three workshops.

He placed the box with other stuff. He noticed a small light coming from the box, so he gripped it to see what it was. It was a golden cup with fine details, it shimmered in the light, so bright that he could be blinded from staring at it. Benjamin could not help but feel really comfortable holding the cup and shook his head to get rid of that strange feeling. He placed the cup on the floor. This was getting stranger and stranger by the minute, he did not remember a golden cup inside the box before and he still could not help that the golden cup was watching him right now.

Benjamin shook his head and went upstairs on towards the bathroom. It was a nice hot shower that washed away his grogginess and he shook off the coldness on his body. After he was done, he put on his clothes, simple jeans and a T-shirt, and went downstairs to eat his morning breakfast, which was eggs, oatmeal, and sausage.

He checked his email on his phone to write a letter to his Grandpa about the box he had sent to him. He also checked another letter from his family. His father was on a business trip, his mother is on a trip to see her family, and his older sister is still working for the U.S army. All his family is away, for now. It looked like he had the whole mansion-sized house all by himself. It is not like he hates to be lonely in his house, he enjoys relaxing in his home and sunbathing in the sunlight outside. He checked to make sure his homework was here in his backpack and made sure that everything was there. "Alright, I have a tough schedule with school right now. Do they really have to make homework a lot harder now when school is almost over?"

When he was done eating his food, he took his schoolbag, opened his front door and closed it behind him. He drove his car towards his college for his final year. Benjamin looked uncomfortable about that strange feeling from the golden cup; he felt a connection with it. Benjamin shook his head, now was not the time to be thinking about it. He still had a lot of schoolwork that needed to be done, he has been lazy for some time and work was feeling so boring. It was going to be very busy for Benjamin.

-The Greater Grail's Core stirred from its slumber and has begun to feed the powerful ley lines nearby and send tendrils of magical energy out into the soil. After a while, it began to form a red glyph-shaped circle around it, glowing with intensity and waiting for someone to place a catalyst. It requires a great amount of power to grant a wish, it holds one purpose: to fulfill a wish. The First and Second Wars left with no clear victor that caused the Grail in a frustration to even make a wish for itself. It came with a single desire to make a wish that wasn't about itself, it was for the Heroic Spirits. All of the heroes of mankind were gathered in this realm Throne of Heroes, all waiting for a war and eagerly waiting for their chance to be summoned, to fix something in which they had not been able to do in their lifetime. That boy should be a suitable Master for the Servants, even though he is not a Magu, to begin with.

"I call upon all of the Heroic Spirits: the Protectors, Defenders, Rulers and Saints from the vast reaches of time and space itself, to be resurrected for a second life, becoming a reincarnation in flesh and blood, walking the Earth one last time and accepting this contract and become this boy's familiars as his sword and shield, his mind and soul, and accept this new life that this Grail has given you."

The circle glowed with power as its voice was sincere and heard among the many heroes that resided in the Throne of Heroes and Avalon searched for its master among the lost heroes, those who heard about the news for a second life, but not many of them were interested in that kind of wish, as no true hero would actually be interested in the prospects and are only attached to the oaths they were trying to do. If this was about the Holy Grail War with the reward of a single wish anything to their desire, then they would have answered to that call. But, a reward for a simple life, that is not what they want, for many of their wishes range from wanting to change something, wanting to fight with the stronger opponents and to get rid of stains that they want to get rid of.

So in which many of them just simply ignore the summoning, while some were in the middle of doubting it as it smelled fishy about this new deal. Some of the heroes were not interested in being this person's familiar who was simply looking for servants as it was going against their pride and values to serve an ordinary person without any special talents or having any special traits that drew them into him. There were Heroes with pride, they would not have suffered such indignity to be this person's Master. While some of them decide to answer it with curiosity or take up arms and answer the summons.

But fortunately, this New Holy Grail has enough power to force the Throne to summon as many heroes as possible and did take a No for an answer. It was so strong that it pulled so many of the heroes' souls away from the Throne Of Heroes and into this world, waiting to be summoned. Fortunately for the ritual who still had enough power to spare until it used up all of its power, forcefully kidnapped from top-tier to low tier familiars and some that are out of this world.

Seeing that the ritual had finished using all the prana it had received it finally ended it mass summoning and send the first hero to be summoned, a mud puppet who decided to answer this call as he/she just wanted to be summoned soon. This mud puppet was not interested in a second life or any wish for the Holy Grail but only came because it was an offer to come here because the Holy Grail sought him/her out specifically.

Sometime later in the car, Benjamin was feeling goosebumps up his spine. "What was that rotten atmosphere a minute ago?" he said to himself as he got out of his car and saw one of his classmates waving at him.

"Hey Benjamin," Alex Tendou shouted as he nodded his head at him. Alex Tendou's appearance is a black hairstyle, blue eyes, and muscular body. He is half American and half Japanese, a younger, stronger man who was an auto mechanic that worked and repaired cars. When he was a child, he was so very strong that he could pull his family's car and he trained to get stronger to help his friends and family with their cars, diagnosing the problem accurately and quickly.

Benjamin and Alex Tendou knew each other since they entered college for the first time. They would sometimes go out to eat at a food truck whose owner is Raymundo Ray Santiago, who at the age 25 has been in the business for 2 years, serving burgers outside of Benjamin's college.

"Hello, again Alex," Benjamin said as he shook hands with Alex. "I hope that you know that we have an algebra test. I still want to know if you can still write with all that mechanic work."

"Don't worry about my hand, Benjamin," Alex said as showed his wrecked hands to him. "See, it is perfectly safe. I can still write with both of my hands, no problem."

"Yet not convinced, my friend," Benjamin replied, making a face. "Let's hope there'll be no problem with it."

"Don't worry Benjamin, there will be no problems," Alex answered as both of them started to walk into their classroom. "Man, so much homework is there at the end of the year in college?" he asked.

"Well, Alex, it is almost time for us to be fully adult and graduate at the end of the year," Benjamin answered as he checked his backpack to see if he had all of the stuff he needed to use. "The college wants us to be fully prepared for the last few finals, so let's hope you can pass with me this time."

"Yeah, it is no easy task for me, Benjamin. Those practice tests for finals are no joke to me," Alex said as he was listening to two girls who were chatting with their desks faced and joined together. "Hey, you want to hang out with me after the algebra test is over?"

"Nope, sorry Alex, I have to move some stuff into my house," Benjamin answered as he sat down in his chair. "My Grandpa sent me some boxes of stuff that I have to move into the basement and I've got some other stuff to do."

"Oh, ok Benjamin," Alex Tendou said as he sat down in his chair. "But if you have the time, then call me."

Soon the teacher arrived carrying a bunch of paper. "All right class quit fooling around and get into your seats. The algebra test is about to begin. Get a spare piece of blank paper to help you on the test."

Benjamin grabbed a blank paper and pencil while the teacher passed out the algebra test to each student.

"Oh shit," Alex Tendou said to himself as he looked at the test itself. "This is quite harder than it looked. It looked like it was written in a different language."

Benjamin studied the algebra test and put his hand on his head. "Hmm, this doesn't look quite as bad as I thought. Oh, this question is one I know. I wonder how Alex is doing?"

He looked at Alex Tendou, who was struggling with his algebra test and making quite a painful face.

"It seems that everybody hates mathematics so much. And man, math class should tough."

"But that's bada gah rah... FFFFFFFFFFF UUUUUUUUUUUUU-!" Alex Tendou shouted to himself.
