"Speech."
"What's wrong? Huh? You feeling okay?" Ezaniel said as he launched another lightning bolt at me. Shit, this battle hasn't gone according to plan.
We have been fighting for about ten minutes now, and he is just too fast to hit. Every ice spear I created he dodged with ease while every lightning bolt he threw came dangerously close to me.
Every time I tried to freeze time, Ezaniel managed to feel it coming and he used it his time manipulation powers to stop mine. The Valac clan is famous for their time manipulation powers, and they are on par with the Shax time manipulation abilities.
"Crap, this isn't going well." I said as I dodged another lightning bolt.
"I concur. This is really going down the drain for you isn't it?" He said with a twisted smile. Shit, he is right, I can't keep this up any longer. I might need to resort to my secret technique soon.
"Are you tiring? Should I put you out of your misery?" He taunted me as he rushed forward. I narrowly dodged as he materialized a sword out of thin air and threw it at me.
All right, I'm done. If I don't use the technique, he will certainly kill me as his attacks are getting closer and closer to me.
I focused on his body as he reset away from me.
Good, I can get a good feel of his body. The blood flowing inside of his body, the throbbing beat of his heart. I can feel it all. Alright, I can do it.
I focused my power on the blood inside his system, manipulating it to control his movements.
"W-what?!" He said as his hands started to tremble at my hand. I then further manipulated the blood in his arms and legs, twisting them with each other and forming a pretzel.
The bastard then started to laugh uncontrollably.
"Ah, that is what you are doing? Blood manipulation? Tsk-tsk. You out of all people should know that is illegal in the Underworld. But you with your Sitri blood can't resist manipulating the blood inside me, can you?" He said as he started to move his hands together.
What?! How is he doing that? My manipulation should prevent him from doing anything.
"Yeah, you think you can do it all can't you? Will power, overcomes all!" He said as he connected his right arm over his left arm. I tried focusing more power on him, but all he did was grimace before smiling at me. A sickened, twisted smile is all I saw from his mouth.
"Your new government is twisted and cruel. You yourself are powerful, but I will give myself up to the cause." He said, slowly as a bright light appeared. What is he talking about?
"Fides cum patribus meis, et extremum, ante mortem ad vitam vocat dabimus. Surge, Draco finem eclipsis Apophis!" He said with a scream as his body glowed with the light of a thousand suns.
I had to cover my eyes, but I could feel the overwhelming aura of an extremely powerful Dragon in front of me.
I opened my eyes once the light subsided and there it was. A beautiful massive Dragon, yellow in color with a blue sphere near its head. The dragon stood over one hundred feet tall and on its head was Ezaniel, or what is left of him. The lower half of his body is gone, and the top half appears to have fused with the Dragon. The scales of the Dragon were hidden as a dark aura encircled the bright Dragon. The mouth of the Dragon opened up, revealing hundreds upon hundreds of extremely sharp teeth.
"What did you just do?" I shouted at him, as the Dragon roared.
"Ahahahahahaha! Yes, I summoned this! Evil Dragon Apophis belongs to me! It was a gift from my boss that sent me to this backwards world! I shall destroy you now and do well in the eyes of the leader!" He said maniacally.
What!? Evil Dragon Apophis?! I thought that Dragon was just a myth from all the times the teachers in the Underworld would talk about mythological Dragons.
Nevermind that. How do I kill a Dragon, nevertheless this strong?
"Yes, yes! Be in fear of the end! Apophis isn't at her full strength, but it should still be enough to kill you!" He said as the Dragon opened its mouth and started charging up an attack. I could feel the energy of the surroundings being absorbed and channeled by the Dragon in order to attack me.
I could see the ball of pure energy being created as I struggled to get my mind straightened out. My mind is racing at over one hundred miles per hour, trying to figure out how to fight this Dragon.
I snapped out of my thoughts just in time to see the energy ball getting shot at me. I created a tidal wave to intercept the ball before moving out of the way as the tidal wave can't hold the energy ball forever.
I rolled out of the way as the tidal wave disintegrated and the ball vaporized the area I was just standing on.
"Bwahahahahaha! Can't run forever. Just lay down and die!"
Yeah, not going to happen.
Alright Rofocal, calm down and think. What are the weaknesses of Dragons.
There is, death due to natural age. That doesn't really help me right now. There are Dragon viruses. I can't make those, so that is out of the question. There are Dragon-killing swords but I don't have those. Well, I am between a rock and a hard place.
"Stop spacing out!" Ezaniel said as another ball of energy was fired in my direction. Crap, spaced out thinking about how to kill this guy.
I dodged the ball of energy by cartwheeling out of its path, so I managed to escape once again.
Alright, calmly evaluate the situation Rofocal. Maniacal Devil/Dragon in front of me, check. Evil villain on top of Dragon, wait what?
Ezaniel. He appears to be disappearing. He is fading into the shadows, or at least his stomach is. There is a dark shadow over where his stomach should be.
The sphere in the Dragons head is also glowing. Could the Dragon be powered by Ezaniel's life force? Only one way to find out I guess.
"Ezaniel! You want a fight? Get ready, because I am coming." I said as I materialized Derflinger in my right hand.
"Oi partner, where have you been? I've been getting lonely back in Tristain without you." Derflinger said as he completely materialized.
"Oi, what is that?!" He added as Apophis roared.
"That my friend, is Evil Dragon Apophis. And we are going to kill it." I said as Ezaniel grinned at me.
"Come on and try!" Ezaniel said as the shadows continued to take his body. His left arm is starting to disappear into the darkness, but he still materialized an ice spear in each hand and he threw them at me. I parried with Derflinger before charging at the Dragon.
"Partner, do you know what you are going to do?"
"Yeah, stab the Dragon in the sphere on its head and hope for the best." I said as I ran towards the Dragon, which is now charging up an energy ball in its mouth. I dodged the energy ball discharged at me, and then jumped upon a wing of the Dragon. I used that to springboard myself to the top of its head, right in front of Ezaniel.
"You!" He said as he started to create an ice spear.
"Die!" I said as I plunged Derflinger into the glowing blue sphere.
"Ahhhhhhhhh!" Ezaniel shrieked as I jumped off the Dragon, witnessing the Dragon combust into flames before completely disintegrating into ashes.
I landed on the ground and saw the remainder of Ezaniel's body among the ashes. There was only his torso, head, and arms, which are fading quickly.
"Ezaniel! What happened to you?" I asked him, trying to find out any information that might help me before he dies.
"Hehe, so this is how it ends? On a field in Halkeginia and not somewhere in the Underworld? You are the victor, so I will tell you." He spoke slowly, his voice cracking up.
"Evil Dragon Apophis has a great cost. Your energy reserves become its energy reserves, as does your life." He said with a chuckle as I leaned in closer to his remaining body.
"I wasn't strong enough to wield it." He said sadly as his arms were swallowed up by the darkness.
"What is happening to your body?" I asked.
"That I do not know. I can feel the power leaving me, so I don't have much time left." He said meekly.
"Who is your boss? Who gave you that Dragon?"
"Hehehe, you still don't get it do you?" He said as the darkness started to consume his torso.
"Master, Master Rizevim Lucifer. The son of the original one has discovered this world. He will bring this place to ashes." He said as I stood up in shock over the name. Rizevim Lucifer, son of the original Lucifer, thought to be dead after the Satan Civil War.
"H, he brought Euclid Lucifuge to this world." Ezaniel said as he started to laugh again.
"T-the end is near. Your little girlfriend is the one he wants. The one he needs." Ezaniel said as the darkness took the upper part of his torso.
"What?! What are you planning to do to Louise? Tell me!" I said as I grabbed his head, and started to shake it.
"Little boy, even if you knew what was going to happen, you couldn't do anything. This is the beginning of the end." Ezaniel said as darkness took both of his ears and his hair.
"My time here is up. I guess I'm going to Hell now. Bwhahaahahahahahahaha…." The bastard started to laugh as the darkness consumed his entire body.
"Ezaniel! Ezaniel!" I screamed as the head disappeared into the air.
"Crap, they need Louise for whatever they are planning to accomplish." I said to myself as I realized something.
"Louise!" I realized as I created a magical circle that would lead me to Valliere estate. My circle took me from Albion back to Halkeginia and in front of Valliere Estate. What I see here is awful.
Valliere Estate, up in flames. There are hundreds of corpses on the ground as I approach the burning house.
I focused my remaining energy to put out the fire in front of me. I created a massive tidal wave that engulfed the entire mansion, putting out the fire with ease.
I hope that Agnes and Wales managed to escape.
"Rofocal! You're alive!" I heard a voice cry out to me.
"Karin! What happened here?" I shouted at the matriarch of the Valliere family in the distance. I saw Karin approaching out of the darkness with her right hand over her stomach. Blood, I could see that there is blood coming out from her stomach. She has been injured.
"Hundreds and hundreds of mages attacked this place. They took Louise!" Karin shouted as she neared me.
"Where are Agnes, Wales, and Henrietta?" I asked her as I could see the worry in Karin's face.
"They are in the back of the mansion. We managed to fight off the attackers, but Agnes, Eleonore, Wales, and Cattleya are critically injured!" She said as I could see her stoic mask breaking apart.
"Let's go! I might be able to help them." I said as she grabbed my hand before dragging me to the back of the mansion.
There they were, laying on the cold ground right beside each other. All of them have numerous stab wounds throughout their body. I could feel that they each had no pulse before I reached them.
"I can bring them back." I said as I created a giant Shax magic circle underneath all of them. I then threw all my remaining Evil Pieces on the floor before staring at the four dead people. I picked up two Knight pieces before heading over to Wales and Agnes.
" I command that Agnes Chevalier de Milan and Wales Tudor awaken once again. Be revived as Devils!" I said as I rammed a Knight piece into each person.
I then turned my attention to Eleonore and Cattleya, both highly skilled magic users, so I should use my Bishop pieces for this.
"What are your daughters full names?" I asked Karin as I picked up the Bishop pieces.
"Eleonore Albertine Le Blanc de La Blois de La Valliere and Cattleya Yvette La Baume Le Blanc de La Valliere." She said as I nodded at the extremely long and complex names.
"Very well then. I command that Eleonore Albertine Le Blanc de La Blois de La Valliere and Cattleya Yvette La Baume Le Blanc de La Valliere walk the land once more. Be revived as Devils." I shouted as I Bishop pieces faded to their bodies. I stood and smiled as the Evil piece glow disappeared.
"I feel weak….." I started to say to Karin before everything went dark around me.
