Hello everybody!

Chinese New Year holidays are here and I'm gonna be writing a lot!

Rin and Len are going to be Tengu! Yay!

In case you're wondering, Tengu, also known as 'guardian dogs' or 'heavenly dogs', are spirits that roam the sky and serve the Tengu king known as Sojobo who is played by Nero. (Genderbent Neru)

In a Tengu's true form, they look like giant birds of prey. But in human form, they appear like an angel with wings. A good example of a human Tengu is Kurama from Kamisama Hajimemashita.

I hope you enjoy his chapter!

DISCLAIMER: I don't own Vocaloid or its characters.

Using my hands, I gently splashed some water from the lake on Miku. She coughed as she sat up, fluttering her eyes open. She look down on her healed body before looking at me in shock. I smiled at her and in a flash, Miku was clinging onto me tightly, digging her head into my chest, crying and sobbing. I can't remember the last time I saw her cry, so it surprised me to see her cry. I gently stroked her back, trying to soothe her.

Suddenly, she lifted up her head and pulled away, her fox ears were moving in all directions.

"What is it?" "We're being watched…" She whispered back softly.

"Who's there? Show yourself!" She shouted at a bunch of bushes not so far away. All of a sudden, the bush rustled and two dark figures jumped out. In a flash, they were kneeling down in front of us, with their heads touching the ground.

"We're sorry! We're so sorry! It was her fault!" The figure on the left pointed to the one on the left who was still leaning down.

"No it wasn't! It was his! We didn't mean to interfere with the sea kingdom and the fox clan!" The other figure rose up and pointed at the figure next to her. Under the moonlight, I could see them clearly.

They looked around 14, a boy and a girl, twins perhaps, with blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing white and yellow yukatas. But wait, how do they know about the spirit clans?

"Are you spirits as well?" I asked, a little naïve. They looked at each other before standing under the moonlight and there is where I saw their wings that were as black as the night, spread open.

"We are Tengu. I'm Rin." The girl said to us bowing.

"And I'm Len." The other said bowing to us as well.

"May I ask, are you the daughter of Kaito, Princess Luka?" Len asked as he raised his head up.

"Yes." I answered a bit puzzled.

"Rin, we found her! We found her!" Len shook his sister before she fell on her knees.

"HAA! Finally! My wings are gonna hurt for a really really long time." She sighed in relief as she massaged her wings gently.

"What's all the trouble to find her?" Miku asked, a little annoyed.

"We were playing in the forest when we heard screaming. The source of the screaming came from an old rundown cabin. We flew up to the roof and peeked through a tiny hole and we saw Kaito and Meiko fighting." Len told us. Me and Miku were in shock.

"We accidently found out the reason behind the hate of the foxes and dragons." Rin looked up at us and said, a hint of seriousness was in her voice.

"W-Wh-What is it?!" Miku shouted, a little impatient. Rin and Len looked down in sadness.

"Meiko killed Haku…"

"M-My mother?" Luka stuttered softly, I noticed she was tearing up.

"I can't believe it my own goddess, a murderer…" I whispered softly.

"That's not all we found out…" Rin stood up "…It turns out your Father was having an affair with Meiko when she was pregnant with you." Luka's eyes widen in shock as Rin finished.

"No, no way, my father would cheat on my mother…He loved her…" "But not as much as he loved Meiko." I murmured softly.

"We're guessing something must have happened to trigger Meiko to murder Haku." Len explained.

"Any theories?" I asked.

"Well, maybe they had an argument and Meiko wanted to get back at Kai-" "Or maybe it was my birth…" Luka interrupted Rin. I gasped in shocked as she looked up at me with tears streaming down her face.

"Maybe when I was born, my father had to spend more time with my mother, which triggered Meiko to become jealous and killed my mother…" Her words trailed off and she fell into my arms.

"Luka! LUKA!" I shook her hard, she had fainted. I laid her gently on the grassy ground.

"I'm just wondering, Miss Kitsune, how do you know the princess of the sea?" I heard Rin asked.

"She's my forbidden friend…"

No she's not.

She…

Luka…

Is my forbidden lover…

Why? Why did she have to bring that up?

I finished my duties and wanted to take a short nap. I walked into me and Haku's bedroom, that was pitch black. The light from the hallway lighted up the room enough to see blood was splatter all over the floor.

I opened the door wider and the light shined on a woman with short brown hair in a red kimono. No way, it can't be her. She turned her head, her mouth stained with blood. It was Meiko! Next to her, I see Haku's corpse, her eyes were wide with tears in them. Meiko smiled at me, her red eyes staring at my very soul.

"Now you are all mine…"

"Kaito…"

"Why?" I whispered softly to myself as the wind blew the tears out of my eyes…

I looked at him, his dark blue eyes were staring into my ruby ones. He pulled me into a kiss and I felt his bare chest against mine. When we pulled away, he got out of the bed and started to get dress.

"I have to go now." "No! Please don't leave me…" I grabbed his arm and pleaded. He held my hand and kissed it.

"I'm sorry but my kingdom needs me and the foxes need you."

"Stop using the same excuse. I know you just want to get back to Haku and your baby…" "It's not like that" He answered as I turned away from him.

"Meiko, I love you but to love you, I can't be with you as much as normal people can because I'm married and have a kingdom to run. So, please forgive me…" He said before kissing my forehead.

"Ok, I forgive you…"

"Thank you, Meiko"

I fluttered my eyes open, my head felt horrible, my body was aching. Remembering the fight we had, I struggled to stand up and limped out and away from the cabin.

"I'm sorry."

"You're sorry?! Well, you apologizing won't resurrect Haku from the dead!

"I didn't know what came over me. So please forgive me…"

"How can I forgive a murderous fox like you?!"

His face that day, I'll never forget it. His words shot me like an arrow.

"Forgive me…" I murmured softly to myself as a single tear streamed down my face.

I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I feel really happy that I'm back on this story. Please tell me what you think about it! :)
